We are going to talk about issues related to our moods, our ideas, emotions, etc.
The esoteric path is strict, narrow, and difficult. We normally live in a world of sensorial experiences, which is the physical world. Through external sensorial perceptions we form our concepts of things, with which we reason.
Thus, the reasoning that we normally use is based solely on sensorial assemblages. Having, therefore, such assemblages as a base, it is obvious that this type of reasoning is conditioned precisely by them.
Reason is, then, from every point of view, subjective, hypothetical, since it is based on the reports that the senses offer us. And thus, if with these perceptions of the senses we form concepts of things, and if we later distribute such concepts in one way or another, they give us the formal logic, common and current reasoning. Do you think, perhaps, that this type of reasoning (based solely, exclusively, on external sensorial perceptions) could allow us to verify reality?
If the concepts of things have been elaborated precisely with the data that the physical senses have provided us, it is obvious that such concepts cannot go beyond the mystical-sensory. Now we will explain why common reasoning is called "subjective reasoning".
What could subjective reasoning know about the reality, about the truth, about God, about life beyond the grave, about what exists beyond the world of the senses, about what is beyond death?
Obviously, this reasoning that is only based on the concepts of things, elaborated with the data that the physical senses have provided us, can only move within its own conditioning, it can only be processed within the field of the mystical-sensory, it could never happen beyond the concepts of things through which it has been formed. So, how to get to the experience of the reality, of the truth? There are different techniques in meditation, etc., but above all, it would be required to possess what is called "faith."
Orthodox dogmas teach that "faith is belief in what we do not see" ... That orthodox concept of faith is not authentic faith. Genuine faith is a solar power. But how to get that power? Behold, then, the problem ...
Would it be possible to get faith since the physical senses cannot provide it to us? They will provide us with data with which (I repeat) we will elaborate our concepts of things, which are so fundamental for reasoning, until there! But that faith which is of the solar type, that which goes beyond simple subjective reasoning, that which has such extraordinary power as to move mountains, that which combined with meditation leads us to enlightenment, it is not possible to achieve it with the simple reports that the physical senses give us.
Some ask for faith, cry for faith. It is good to pray, but the saying already says it: “Strike with thy rod while thou art begging God...” Then, what to do? really, to get faith, first of all, you have to manufacture it; faith is not something that can be achieved empirically. I repeat: you have to make it.
And how is it manufactured? Based on study and experience. It is obvious that through study and direct experience, through the technique of meditation, we will come to understand, and from that comprehension spontaneously comes what is called "faith."
Comprehension, in itself, does not belong to the mind; it is an exclusive property of the Third Logos, of the Lord Shiva, of Binah [Hebrew "comprehension, intelligence, understanding"] the great sephirah, one of the three supreme sephiroth, it is the one of the Holy Spirit ...
If we are experiencing through meditation, if we are studying something, some transcendental subject, if we strive to understand it, it is obvious that the first thing we will have will be the mystical experience (as a result of study and meditation); then comprehension comes, which is that spark of light that the Third Logos gives us. It comes to our aid to give us comprehension, and from such comprehension comes faith.
Thus comprehension (I repeat, so that I may be well understood) has as its foundation the Third Logos, and from this comes faith. Then, if comprehension has its foundation in the Third Logos and faith comes from it, obviously, the very root of faith is in the Third Logos, that is, in the Holy Spirit.
But in this of acquiring faith there are degrees and degrees, scales and scales, systems and systems. Obviously, my dear brothers and sisters, when I refer to "systems and systems", I am referring to hierarchical issues: solar systems, worlds, universes, atomic systems, etc.
As for the means or practical system to achieve faith, it is none other than the one that I already said ...
I emphasize the idea that there are degrees and degrees, because knowledge is multiple, multifaceted.
For example: lets us suppose that we ignore what the law of eternal return is. They inform us, yet, we know nothing about it. What to do? How to come to have faith in that law? First of all, it will be necessary to study the doctrine of the eternal return of all things. Through intellectual information we will come to know that, after many years, the stars return to their starting point; that the atoms, within the molecule, always return to their original starting point; that the sun has an elliptical, that every year it returns to the south and returns to the north ... through the information we will be able to know that the days and nights return, that the seasons and ages return ... We can also know, through information, that the law of eternal return allows us, after we have lost the physicality we have, to return, to reincorporate, to have a new body. That's obvious, but no more than that! We need something more: We need to come to remember our past lives, that is obvious. As long as we do not have the memory of our previous lives, we cannot say that we know, no! We will have the theory accumulated in our mind, but that is not really knowing.
So, what to do? First of all we need to investigate; there are systems to remember past lives. Buddha Gautama taught the method of retrospection, and it is wonderful. But how could we come to have faith, for example, in that method taught by the Buddha Gautama? There would be but only one way, how? First, study; second, practice. From study and practice comes comprehension; then, as a result, faith arises; and with faith, we will practice the retrospective exercise with full success.
Such an exercise is easy, simple: one begins, then, lying on the bed, with the body relaxed. One must remember by concentrating on the last events of the day, on the ones before that, and on the ones before that... and thus, in retrospection, remember, relive all the incidents of the day.
Then we will continue with the incidents of the previous day, also in retrospection.
Then we will continue trying to remember what we did the day before; and so on and so forth, with such process, we will try to remember the last 15 days of our life, the previous 15 days, everything we did in the last month and in the previous, and what we did in a year and in 10 and in 20 years .
We will strive to remember all the events of life, always in retrospection.
When we reach the first five years of childhood, the problem comes: how can we remember the occurrences of life when we were four, three, two, one? How? We can only combine meditation with sleep: in moments when we feel predisposed to sleep, we will practice the exercise, trying to remember in detail all the incidents of our life, when we were four, three, two, one ... Like this, memories will emerge in the form of lightning, flashes, etc ...
Those first flashes (memories of the first years of childhood) are the result, first, of having known the practice, the study; Second, having practiced the retrospective exercise, those memories or those flashes, those visions, let us say, of the lightning type, will give us faith in the exercise (a faith of a solar type), and the more we remember the occurrences of the first years of childhood, faith will increase.
Thus, when we have remembered the whole of our life, until the very moment of birth, then we can make the leap to the last moment of the previous life. If we manage to remember it, if we manage to see ourselves surrounded by our relatives at the last moment, then faith will be enlivened, it will be even greater. We will say: "what an extraordinary exercise, I am happy with this practice!" ...
Thus, as we continue with our retrospective exercise, we will remember the last years of our past existence, those before that, and even earlier: youth, adolescence, childhood, the moment in which we were born in the past existence. When we do that, we will have an unshakable, solar-type faith, unshakable.
Someone could come and tell us that "this exercise is useless" and we would laugh at whoever says so. The best reasoner could come to try to destroy us and we would laugh at the reasoner. Faith, the product of study and experience, would sustain us. Then we would say: "I know the law of the eternal return of all things," but we would no longer say it in the merely empirical, or merely intellectual or reasoning way, but we would already speak it knowingly. We could say: "I have returned and here I am!"; and we would speak it with such confidence that we would thrill many.
Thus, we would have acquired faith in the retrospective exercise. This procedure, taught by the buddha Gautama Sakyamuni, allows us to remember all our previous existences; it is a wonderful exercise.
But it is one thing to hear an affirmation, an explanation, and another thing is the practice that you must perform. By listening to the dissertation on such an exercise, you receive information, you are actually studying, but by practicing you are practicing; and from study and practice comes comprehesion; and as a result of comprehension, faith emerges. Such comprehension is given to us by the Third Logos; thus faith is the definitive outcome of experience, verification and comprehension.
So, brothers and sisters, there is no other way to develop faith. But if you manage to elaborate, for example, faith about the retrospective exercise, faith about the law of the eternal return of all things (based on study, experience and comprehension). Yet, for this reason, this does not mean, that you have for example, full faith in other issues, such as the existence of Atlantis.
You may have heard that Atlantis existed, but you do not know anything about it; you receive it as news, you may accept it, but you don't really know anything about it.
So, to get to know if Atlantis existed, you would need to verify that information, first of all, to study where Atlantis was located. That Atlantis was located in the Atlantic Ocean, okay! What physical evidence, what data is there, what are its legends, what its traditions, etc.? Once in possession of all that data, then we need to verify it. How will we verify it? Through the technique of meditation. We will have to lie down on our bed (hopefully with our head facing north), our body completely relaxed, our eyes closed, in moments when we feel predisposed to sleep, and we must definitely concentrate on Atlantis, combining imagination and willpower in vibranting harmony.
Let us remember that imagination is feminine [receptive]; It is worth telling you that willpower is masculine [projective], and that in the combination [balance] of these two polarities is the key to all power.
So we must not underestimate imagination; there is a very marked tendency to underestimate imagination. Some people say: "those are things of the imagination, I accept them because ..., or these are matters of my imagination", that is to say, people do not know how to appreciate the value of the imagination.
Let us distinguish between intentional imagination and mechanical imagination. The intentional imagination is the "translucence" that allows us to see the great realities of the internal worlds. Mechanical imagination is fantasy, it is made up of the waste of memory.
Let us therefore distinguish between imagination and fantasy. Underestimating the imagination is absurd.
Thus, we must develop the imagination, cultivate it ...
If we properly concentrate (I repeat) on Atlantis, with a relaxed body, vividly imagining the Atlantean continent; If we unite our willpower to our imagination in vibranting harmony (in wanting to see Atlantis), if we practice daily, imagining it there, in the Atlantic Ocean, seeing a group of wonderful islands, among them that of Poseidon with the seven solid gold gates, etc. If we truly practice, what will happen? that one day among those many, we will see Atlantis ...
Obviously, there are three phases in initiatory knowledge: First, imagination; second, inspiration; third, intuition. Imagination, inspiration and intuition are the three obligatory paths of initiation.
We will imagine the Atlantean continent, vividly, such as it was there, located in the ocean that bears its name (the walled cities, etc.) thus our willpower will be focused on the determination of wanted to see with our imagination. Thus, imagination will be there to wait, we must be in a receptive state, in order to eventually see what will come into our imagination.
One day, of those many, flashes of Atlantis will begin to reach our imagination, and the images of that old continent will be more and more vivid. We will see its inhabitants, its cities, and if we are tenacious in the exercise, the day will come when we will be able to see, perfectly, the Atlantean continent, totally. Those sparkles will give us faith, but that faith will increase when we move on to that second aspect that is call "inspiration."
When being inspired, we will feel in us what Atlantis was, we will know about its life and its tragedies.
A third grade will lead us to intuition. And then, through intuition, we will not only be able to clairvoyantly see and to come to feel the vivid emotions of the people, etc., of the Atlantean continent, but moreover, we will also be able to study then, in its totality, the life of that continent, of that humanity, in the very sealed archives of nature, in the Akashic records. When this happens, we will have much more faith. Then we see how faith is capable of development.
Someone can have faith in something and not to have it in something else. Whosoever wants to have faith in everything, will have to study deeply and experiment, and then, as a result of study and direct experience, comprehension emerges, and as a sequence or corollary of such a comprehension, faith will emerge, which (as I already told you) obviously has its roots in the Third Logos itself.
This is how faith develops: based on study and experience… until here my words. If someone has something to ask, do it with the most complete freedom...
Student: Master, can faith become a habit?
Samael Aun Weor: Certainly, faith is not something that can become a habit, no! Our habits (which after all we have to study) belong to the motor center or center of movement. Usually they are, let us say, one hundred percent mechanistic, if one wants to become aware of the activities of the motor center, one must study its habits. For this, it is necessary to study them to know them better, because we have many habits that we ourselves do not know. Thus, since habits are simply part of the motor center, of established customs, of prejudices, of the environment in which we have risen, in no way could faith, which is something objective, become something merely subjective.
So, first of all, faith can never become a habit. Second, it is not possible for faith to become mechanistic, automatic, because if conscious faith becomes automatic, it is no longer conscious; it would be blind faith like that of the ordinary people (subjective), but not the authentic cognizant faith which is what we seek, which is what we want, which is what we want ...
To be able to have cognizant faith, it is necessary to be alert, like the watchman in times of war, never to fall into the mechanism of existence, into habit, custom, in the atavistic.
Cognizant faith can only be elaborated or manufactured (I have already said) on the basis of study and direct experience. From there comes the comprehension that the Logos gives us, and faith as a final outcome, faith which is obviously rooted in the Logos.
Thus, cognizant faith unfolds from instant to instant, from moment to moment.
It could happen that you could be charged with faith and nonetheless doubt that a copper molecule (in atoms, for example) has a very special center of gravitation; that such a molecule serves, let us say, as a center of gravity for the cosmic forces to evolve and devolve there. You could say: "Such theory is good but I don't know anything about it"…, and yet, to be radiating faith, but not to have it in that detail at any given moment. Then you would need to study the constitution of that copper molecule, but study it carefully, from the physical point of view, and then study it through meditation: lying on your bed, with your body relaxed, imagine the molecule vividly, " wanting to see it ”, that is, to unite your imagination (which is feminine) with your willpower (which is masculine), trying to discover the life of that molecule.
At a given moment, with inspiration, on the least expected day, you get to see how cosmic forces gravitate on that molecule, evolving and devolving. Result: that your faith would increase, you would have a new cognizant faith in something that you had not had faith, even if you had faith in many other things.
But later it could be the case that you say: “man, vegetables are wonderful, but there are plants that heal and plants that kill! I cannot believe (you would say) that a plant that kills can have an innocent and pure elemental. How is that possible?" The doubt would arise, then. "If it kills, how can the elemental be innocent?" then you would say: "innocent will be the elemental of a plant that does not kill, but what about the one that kills?" ...
Then you would not have faith in that plant; you would need to investigate it, concentrate, let us say, on the hemlock, for example, and meditate on it; with the imagination see the plant, see its roots inside the earth, its leaves, its branches; then try, with your imagination, to learn, to see the elemental of that plant ... One of those many days it may be the case that, the less you think about it, the elemental appears before you, that innocent child (they all are innocent; it is not his fault that people can use this poison for evil; it is a plant like any other and that's it). Then you, at that moment you will say: “Ah, I do have faith; the elemental of that plant is innocent, now I do believe that it is innocent, I have faith! "...
Then another facet of faith appears. Thus, if we think that knowledge is infinite, that cosmic wisdom has no limits or borders, then we have to think that faith also develops infinitely (that is obvious) and from instant to instant, and from moment to moment, and that it can never become mechanistic, automatic, or become part of our habits and customs, etc., understood?
Student: I have another doubt…
Samael Aun Weor: Let's see, brother ...
Student: Kundalini ... what do you mean by the term "kundalini"?
Samael Aun Weor: Well, the term "kundalini" is composed of two words: "kunda", which reminds us of the abominable kundabuffer organ, which is the tail with which the biblical satan is represented, and "lini", is an Atlantean word that means "termination".
When one makes the sacred fire to rise up along the spine, the evil consequences of the abominable kundabuffer organ are terminated. With that fire one can destroy those evil consequences that as a whole constitute the myself, the “I”. So kundalini and kundabuffer are important. "Kundalini": serpent rising; "Kundabuffer": serpent going down. Understood?
Is there any other word? let's see, ask brother ...
Student: I want to ask regarding the method that you speak of retrospection, in the phases of imagination, inspiration and intuition, what would it be like, for example, when we use it to meditate on Atlantis? I ask: if through this method we receive information directly from the place and the conditions in which Atlantis is currently, or the information that one receives comes from the warehouses of the Akashic records?
Samael Aun Weor: Undoubtedly, you need one, first, intellectual information: to know where that continent was (today there are even maps on Atlantis). then one goes to work, through meditation. Lying on the bed, arms and legs relaxed, one will vividly imagine Atlantis; one will put imagination in a receptive condition, in a reflective condition.
A simile: for example the mirror. the starry sky can be reflected in the mirror. So too, the imagination is a mirror in which the wonders of nature, including Atlantis, can very well be reflected. But, above all, we must focus our attention on Atlantis.
Then, with an open imagination, in a receptive attitude, the day may come when you perceive that continent. Atlantis is in the akashic archives, but it can be reflected in the imagination, as in a mirror, and then from there comes direct knowledge. But it is necessary to know how to combine powers: I have said that the imagination is feminine, I have affirmed that willpower is masculine, and that in the union of both powers or of both faculties, there is the key to all power.
Now the first aspect of initiation is imagination, then inspiration follows, and lastly intuition. A first spark would be to see with the imagination, really, that Atlantis is reflected in our imagination: its cities, its towns, its villages, etc ...
A higher impulse would lead us to inspiration, to feel in us how life unfolded on that continent (there would no longer be cold figures, we would already feel the joys and sorrows, and the whole way of life of Atlantis).
But the third aspect would be the highest: that of intuition, because with intuition we would already penetrate a totally spiritual world, a causal world, and then we would have at our disposal the akashic archives of nature. Within such archives we could study, directly, all the stories of Atlantis; and that is how the great masters have always proceeded. that is all!
Student: Master, would it be correct to take the definition of the Elohim, taken as "emanations of the Absolute", which go down in vibration as they project each other, so that when they reach the end, the emanations are formed in the form of electromagnetic vibration. What make up what we consider or call "matter"? What if those Elohims are the ones who helped God to form Adam, since in the bible God said: "Let us make Adam!"? God no longer said it alone, God said: "Let's make Adam!" Do you mean that God was referring to other characters or other forces?
Samael Aun Weor: Well, first of all you have to analyze the word "Elohim", right? “Elohim אלהים”, actually really, is a feminine word (Elah אלה) with (im ים) a pluralized masculine ending (in Hebrew the “h” has a sound, it is pronounced like the “ch” of Bach, so that its exact pronunciation is “Elohim”). If the word "Elohim" is pluralized, then we have that the Elohim אלהים (which is translated as (El אל, masculine) God in the bible) are the army of the voice, made up of perfect male-female creatures.
And precisely Valentine (the founder of the Gnostic order of the Valentinians), expressed the same point of view, that of the Elohim as perfect couples, emanating from the agnosthos theos, that is, from the unknowable divinity, from the unknowable seity, which is the Absolute, or better to say, the absolute abstract space.
Said space, it is obvious that it is devoid of all kinds of quality, that it is beyond all possible intellectual conception; it is emptiness and fullness at the same time.
If we said that agnosthos theos, the Absolute, is only a "void" and nothing else, we would not give a very precise indication; but if we say that the agnosthos theos is emptiness and fullness at the same time, we can indicate (with precision, then) the very essence of the absolute.
Now, to penetrate to the bottom of what is the absolute, in itself, is not possible by mere speculative reasoning, because it is beyond all possible speculation. But, from that do emanate, in perfect pairs (says Valentine), the Elohim... those emanations in perfect pairs, because they come to build the universe. They are the cosmocrators: perfect androgynes, the creators of the universe.
As soon as it is said: "Let us make Adam in our image and likeness", it is obvious that they themselves, took bodies and descended into Lemuria, as they descended in the Polar and Hyperborean epochs, they lived as perfect androgynous people ...
In the polar epoch, they were simply androgynes that reproduced through the fissiparous sexual act; in the Hyperborean epoch as androgynes they reproduced themselves through the budding system, and in the Lemurian epoch as hermaphrodites they reproduced themselves (as birds) with the gemmation system, that is, those people themselves made in their "image and likeness," since within them, themselves were that.
That the Elohim, themselves, withdrew after from the panorama of the universe, it's true! Thus, they left their forms of "discarded matters" (already divided into opposite sexes, useless for them) to the higher elementals from the animal kingdom.
Thus, this humanity or properly said, the so called “tri-brained” or “tricentered” bipeds, were the higher animal elementals who occupied the vehicles or the “discarded forms” of the Elohim. The Elohim left, but left their bodies (already divided into opposite sexes) so that the higher elementals occupied them and were occupying them; and as the higher elementals were occupying them, they were moving away, until they finally left …
Sadly some Elohim fell, it's true! (And that's the angelic rebellion). Yet, not all of them fell. But many did fall; and that is written in all mythologies: "The rebellion of the angels;" "the fall," is then part of all the old religions of antiquity ... Thus, the perfect hermaphrodite Adam was made in the "image and likeness” of the Elohim…
Now, placing ourselves in a higher order aspect, Genesis is part of Alchemy.
Although it is true that through genesis the entire panorama of the universe was unfolded and developed, it is also true that the alchemist has to work with that same genesis and be made newly in the "image and likeness" of the Elohim, at the instant in which, through alchemy, one reaches the "sixth day of creation" ...
One remains in the "image and likeness" of the Elohim when one has been "swallowed" by the serpent and, when in turn, the serpent has been "devoured" by the eagle. When one has become a Quetzalcoatl, the same male-female, then one is made an Elohim again, made a perfect human who has been in the "image and likeness" of the Elohim, since they, themselves, are he-she, god and goddess at the same time.
Are there any other questions, brothers or sisters? You may ask sister ...
Student: Reading "Mystical Kabbalah" of Dion Fortune, in one of the chapters she says that "the Elohim are formed from the union of Chokmah and Binah." I would like to ask you, master, what is the truth in that?
Samael Aun Weor: Well, we do not agree, because Dion Fortune believes, precisely, that they are formed that way, but they are not formed that way. Note that Binah is represented in india by Lord Shiva, the Third Logos. And Lord Shiva has two wives. In Hindustan that's a fact!
One of them is Durga and the other is Kali. But well, let's think about Durga only, on his wife ... on his divine mother kundalini, is our divine mother kundalini. We see Binah as jakin and boaz, Binah is male and female at the same time. Elohim is Binah: masculine and feminine at the same time ...
As far as Chokmah is concerned, Chokmah can dwell within an Elohim, if an Elohim incarnates Chokmah; then the Father can "swallow" Chokmah and Elohim as well. In this way we become terribly divine beings.
Are there any other questions, brother talk, let us to see ...
Student: … To make faith it is necessary to study…… we must work with our divine mother and we must practice the sahaja maithuna. Well, the confusion consists in this: in your book [The Mystery of the Golden Flower], you speak in a passage, where you mention Brutus…… this has some relation …… you say that Brutus practiced the sahaja maithuna and despite that Brutus will fail…… with which I think Brutus will not be able to achieve it . So, I ask: if we ... ... how can we know?, if our mother kundalini does not forgive faults such as: betrayal, adultery, lust, right ?, and all that, how can we develop that consciousness, without knowing what we did in previous lives, in order to be able to manufacture faith, if we already carry several previous faults that will not be forgiven and that will prevent us from being able to manufacture that faith? above all and looking at the last thing you point to now…… in order to make a retrospective analysis of…
Samael Aun Weor: Well, with the greatest pleasure I will answer your question ... first of all, for there to be, let's say, a forgiveness, for there to be a forgiveness, there needs to be someone who asks for that forgiveness, someone who is repentant. How could someone who has not repented be forgiven? Would it be fair to forgive someone who does not regret a crime? But if the one who committed the crime repents and sincerely asks for forgiveness, that one can be forgiven, right? But if that one does not repent or ask for forgiveness, if that one is happy with the crime, could or should that one really be given a pardon that he has not asked for, and that he does not wish for and that does not want? No one can be given what he does not want.
Even more: we could not "bravely" or by force, take anyone to heaven, if he doesn't want to. We could not teach gnosis to another if that other does not accept it; We could not provide a person with a soft drink if the person does not want it. We can give it to him, but if he doesn't want it, how can we force him to drink it?
That is the case of Brutus, right? Brutus betrayed the Guru, and not only did he betray him, but he never repented of the betrayal, he never asked for forgiveness, never wished for forgiveness. Why should someone be forgiven if they did not ask for forgiveness? Why should someone be forgiven who has not repented of a crime?
If Brutus went to work in the ninth sphere continuing with the crime of betrayal, could the divine mother kundalini reward him for the betrayal? I am sure that the divine mother kundalini does not reward crimes; she can forgive them if there is repentance, but she would not become an accessory to the crime. If the divine mother forgives crimes without the subject repenting of them, without him begging for forgiveness, then she, obviously, would become an accomplice of the crime, she would also be a criminal, and it does not seem to me that mother-goddess can become a delinquent, an accomplice of crime.
Just because the subject entered to work in the ninth sphere, and for that reason the divine mother, necessarily, would have to give him a pardon, for a crime he never regretted, no! because the ascension of the sacred fire, the ascension of the serpent up along the spine, is controlled by the merits of the heart. The fires of the cardia control the fires of the spine, anyone who has studied occult anatomy knows that; otherwise, our divine mother would become an accessory to the crime.
I know of a case, whose name I do not mention. It is that of a lady (who is not mentioned now) who has two husbands and practices sexual magic with both, and she thinks that she is doing very well. I had to withdraw her, expel her, from the Gnostic movement, but she believes that she is doing very well.
The first husband is a poor old man, she says that she has him "out of mercy"; the second husband that she has "is because she loves him and she wants to help him so that he too can self-realize himself"...
Do you think that a sexual magic like that, with three people, a "ball" of three people practicing sexual magic, will self-realize themselves? Do you think that the divine mother kundalini would reward that lady for adultery? What then would the divine mother kundalini be, rewarding adulteries? Impossible! Right?
So then, what I have said regarding Brutus is true. First of all, for the sacred serpent to rise, the merits of the heart are needed. Each of the 33 vertebrae of the spine corresponds to a virtue or virtues. The snake could not reach vertebra 10, for example, if the candidate had not been tested before. The snake could not reach vertebra 20, if the candidate does not meet the requirements of that vertebra. In the spine are all the 33 degrees of hidden masonry and it is not possible for the serpent to rise, pass from degree to degree, if the corresponding merits do not exist ...
What if all the murderers, the drunkards, the fornicators, the thieves, etc., who by the fact of working sexual magic were already perfect, the snake climbed up along their spine and became gods? What kind of "gods" would those be? Thief gods, murderous gods, traitorous gods? In what would then be the cosmic order of the worlds? ... - Samael Aun Weor
Note: This is why it is written in our Website: “Experience is better than belief.” Because Chavah חוה, which means “experience” in Hebrew, and that is translated as “Eve” in Genesis, is the way, in Yesod, to experience all the degrees of the Tree of Life. As Genesis state:
“And Adam (the brain) called his wife's name Eve (Hebrew Chavah חוה); because she (the genitalia) is (was and will be) the mother of all living.” Genesis 3: 20
