The Third Day of Genesis: Hod
Aum bhoor bhuvaha swaha tat savitur varenyam bhargo devasya dheemahi dheeyo yo nah prachodayat. ("O God, Thou art the giver of life, the remover of pain and sorrow, the bestower of happiness; O Creator of the Universe, may we receive Thy supreme light, O light destroyer of sins; may Thou guide our minds in the right direction.")
Oh Thou, Solar Logos, igneous Emanation, substance and consciousness of Christ, powerful life whereby everything advances, come unto me and penetrate me, enlighten me, bathe me, go through me and awaken within my (Inner) Being all of those ineffable substances that (in “Daath” the Upper Eden) are as much a part of Thee as well as (in “Yesod” the Lower Eden) a part of me.
Universal and cosmic force, mysterious (solar) energy, I conjure Thee, come unto me, remedy my affliction, cure me from this illness and put apart from me this suffering so I can have harmony, peace and health.
I ask Thee in thy sacred name (Iod-He-Vav-He) which the Mysteries (of Daath) in the Gnostic Church have taught me, so Thou can make vibrate with me all of the mysteries of this plane and superior planes, and that all of those forces together (in my Astral Body) may achieve the miracle of my salvation.

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

John 2:13-25:
And the Jews' Passover (from the red passional waters of the sea of Yesod into the fiery dry land of Hod) was at hand, and Jesus (as fire in the Spinal Medulla of the New Born Astral Body) went up to Jerusalem (the Head where we find the Atom of Kether, the Father),
And found in the (psychological depths of the human) temple (that every one of us carries within) those (Egos, or merchants, the “I’s” which personify our defects or vices of a psychological type) that sold oxen and sheep and doves (Egos that sell the Third Logos, who profane the Holy Spirit "Binah" by making business with Him, like: fornicators, adulterers, prostitutes, lesbians, homosexuals, etc.), and the changers of money (Egos from Limbo who through the physical body channel demons from Klipoth and exchange the wisdom of the Cosmic Christ for the stupidities of an impostor) sitting:
And when he had made (through sexual transmutation) a scourge of small cords (of Willpower), he (through meditation and sexual dynamics) drove them all out of the (psychological depths of the human) temple, and their sheep, and their oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;
And said unto them that sold doves (filthy fornicators), Take these (perverse) things hence; make not my Father's house (the New Solar Astral Body) a house of merchandise (because the protoplasmic "Kama Rupa," the emotional body of desires of each person, is filled with egos of passion and perversity).
And his disciples (through self-observation) remembered that it was written, the zeal (passion) of thine (perverse) house hath eaten me (the solar energy) up.
Then answered the Jews (Intellectual Kabbalists) and said unto him, what sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
Jesus answered and said unto them:
...destroy this temple (Kama Rupa) that is made with (lustful) hands (deeds), and within three (Initiatic) days I will build another (the Astral Solar Body, the body of Hod) made without (lustful) hands (but deeds of chastity).
Mark:14: 58:
Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
But he spoke of (the Astral Body) the (Human) temple of (Hod) his (cosmic solar) body.
When therefore (through the Third Initiation) he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed (or understood) the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the festivity (or Initiatic) day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did (within their psyche).
But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he (as fire within the spinal medulla) knew all men,
And needed not that any should testify of (the perversity of) man: for he knew (the lustful passion fire) that was in man.”
Genesis teaches us the (in Alchemical way) the seven symbolic steps for the creation of the human being (the Zauir Anpin) made into the image and likeness of the Elohim. Everything written in the Bible is symbolic.
Genesis is a book of Alchemy and Kabbalah.
To explain the Seven Days of Genesis, we have to explain about Daath (Hebrew), Gnosis (Greek), Knowledge (English).
By following the 10 Sephiroth of the Tree of Life from the bottom to the top, we arrive at the third Sephirah Hod; Glory, Splendour: the Solar energy, the Igneous emanation of the Solar Logos that we find in 5th dimension, which we call the astral dimension, where the substance and consciousness of Christ vibrates as a powerful light and life whereby everything advances.
We have to understand what solar energy is, that astral force that receives the name of Prana.
How are we related with Prana, with that igneous emanation of the Solar Logos that we find in the Fifth Dimension?
Just as the mother’s uterus is the world which surrounds the child and also from where the fetus receives its nutrition, as well, Nature, in its proper manner, is where the terrestrial body of the human being receives its influences which act upon his organism. This is the Ens Astrale (the Prana), which is something that we do not see, yet it contains us and all that is alive and has sensation. It is what the air contains and from which all the elements live. We symbolize it with ‘M’ (misterium).

This ‘M’ (misterium) is the Astral Light of Kabbalists, the Azoth and Magnes of ancient Alchemists, the Flying Dragon of Medea, the I.N.R.I. of Christians and the Tarot of the Bohemians.
We live in nature surrounded by Prana, which is the solar energy that we find everywhere within all of the elements of nature, especially within the atmosphere.
When we talk of Prana, energy, solar energy of the fifth dimension, in this case we talk of the very foundation of life; we talk of the Universal Cosmic Christ.
Within the atmosphere and within the seed (semen) of all simple and compound elements we find all the energetic substances (the Astral Energy of the Cosmic Christ) of the stars, of the astros. The Pranic Energy of the stars, of the astros, travels in electric whirlwinds throughout the outer space and is placed in its essential state within the 5th dimension of any given planet of the infinite space.
So the 5th dimension, the Astral Plane, Hod, has all the rays, all the forces that come from above, from the astros: Planets, suns, stars, moons, comets, in other words, all the forces that come from all the Elohim.
Elohim means "Gods and Goddesses."
Planets, suns and all cosmic unities are related with the Elohim because each cosmic body is the physical body of an Elohim.
Each one of these Gods, angels or Elohim, related with the planets, has its own idiosyncrasy, its own vibration.
That idiosyncrasy, vibration or strength is related with the solar light, and when that force or light reaches the atmosphere of any planet (e.g. our planet earth), it is fixed in the 5th dimension, in the Astral Plane. Such idiosyncrasy, vibration or force is the consciousness-substance (Ruach Elohim) of that particular God.
In earth we have different minerals, plants, different trees which are related with different types of cosmic vibration of the Universal-Cosmic-Christ that is that mysterious effulgent energy emanated by different planets, stars, etc.
We find, for instance, trees related with the moon that are capturing the vibrations of the moon that are related with the Astral Plane.
The Eucalyptus tree is related with the moon. The pomegranate tree is related with Venus. Aloe Vera is a plant related with the sun. Any hot spicy vegetable, for instance peppers, lemons, are related with Mars; the oak is Martian tree.
Trees, animals, minerals that are related with the different astral vibrations; the mineral and plants transform vibrations, very subtle forces of the Prana. And all those forces are surrounding and entering the atmosphere. The trees and all the elements that we find on this planet are like different antennas that take different energy to organise the Astral Light, the light of the Universal and Cosmic Christ, the light of the stars in this planet. All of the human beings are related with those forces.
We know that each one of the 12 zodiacal signs is related with each part of our physical body. Yet, indeed those forces are related with the Superior Emotional Center and also the inferior Emotional Center, because those forces act within us depending on the activity of our consciousness.
Malkuth (the Kingdom) of nature is constituted by “Four Kingdoms”: Mineral, Plant, Animal and Human. These are the organs or main kingdoms that the Earth utilizes in order to channel the energy of the zodiacal belt. This is how we are related with the infinite space, especially to the zodiacal belt. The zodiacal belt is related to the 12 constellations.
Those 12 constellations are around the solar system, so they send all the energy to the atmosphere of any planet.
And this is situated in the Astral Plane.
The free energy of the Astral Light, which in this physical world is the solar light, enters into the Emotional Center (grand sympathetic nervous system), according to the zodiacal sign in which we were born, and builds the different emotional temperaments according to our psychological vibration.
When we do not posses the Astral Solar Body then the free energy of the Astral Light acts accordingly to our Ego. Our astral inheritance, the Christic light related with our particular cosmic ray, which is the ray to which our particular Monad belongs to, is found in “Hod”. Yet in order to posses such light we have to create the Astral Solar Body.
In the Astral Light, we have our spiritual name that is our Glory “Hod” (in Kabbalah). This is our Glory or particular Verb, wisdom, “Chokmah,” related with the mystery of the transfiguration of Jesus.
The transfiguration of Jesus between Moses and Elias symbolizes the transformation or magical transmutation that Moses, “willpower,” performs over the Akasic waters of “Yesod,” the semen (coagulated solar light or Pranic force of the Cosmic Christ within our sexual organs) into solar wisdom. This solar wisdom expresses as Intuitive Kabbalah through the zeal of Elias, “the Intuitive Mind,” but only when the latter is under the service of the Atom Nous in the heart. This knowledge (Daath), or the particular wisdom of our particular “Chokmah” in each one of us, is the expression of the wisdom of the heart, of our particular Hod, Solar Astral Body. This is the transcendental Christic wisdom, the intuitive Christic wisdom of Hod.
“Transcendental Christic Wisdom, come unto me and penetrate me, enlighten me, bathe me, go through me and awaken within my (Inner) Being all of those ineffable substances that (in “Daath” the Upper Eden) are as much a part of Thee as well as (in “Yesod” the Lower Eden) a part of me.
Our Ego or Interior Judas always channels the astral vibrations in a negative way.
There are four temperaments according with the astral zodiacal energy:
- Temperament of Earth - Phlegmatic - Capricorn, Virgo and Taurus.
- Temperament of Fire – Sanguineous – Leo, Aries, Sagittarius.
- Temperament of Air - Nervous – Libra, Aquarius, Gemini.
- Temperament of Water – Voluptuous - Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer
Each temperament has some properties in common with the others temperaments because each temperament shares the three parts of the physical body.
Fire:
- Aries: head
- Leo: heart
- Sagittarius: legs
Earth:
Water:
- Taurus: larynx
- Virgo: abdomen
- Capricorn: knees
Air:
- Cancer: Thymus gland, the bronchia
- Scorpio: sex
- Pisces: feet
- Gemini: Lungs
- Libra: Kidneys
- Aquarius: Calves
We are always born in different zodiacal signs according to our karma, and in order to receive different types of Pranic energy into our bodies according to our sign. But our astral spiritual inheritance only comes to us with the creation of the Astral Body. Such inheritance is related to that Astro-Elohim to which our Monad is connected.
This is why the name of God in “Hod” in the World of the Archetypes (Atziluth) is Elohim Sabaoth ("Army of Gods and Goddesses").
The host of all the forces from above related to Atziluth, the world of the Archetypes, is fixed down into the 5th dimension, in “Hod” with the name Elohim Sabaoth.
Elohim Sabaoth are all the forces of the Gods, the Elohim in the atmosphere: Prana.
The name of God in Yetzirah (the World of Formation and of the angels) is Beni-Elohim: Beni = children, Elohim = Gods and Goddesses)
In order to enter into Yetzirah we must have the Astral Body. The purpose of the Third Day of Creation is to build our astral reality. If we create an Astral Body, we create our own astral reality.
In order to crystallize our astral inheritance related with our own particular Elohim to whom our Monad is connected, we must create the Astral Body.
This Monad (our interior God) is the son of an Elohim who belongs to Elohim Sabaoth. When our Monad builds the Solar Astral Body, the Monad becomes a Beni-Elohim. This is how the Monad channels the inheritance of its own Elohim in its Astral Body. The Astral Solar Body has the resemblance of the Lord, the Christ.
Once the Astral body is created, it becomes our own particular individual Jesus Christ; then our Monad is converted into Beni-Elohim (Son of God), a child of Elohim Sabaoth, thanks to this Astral Body, because the Monad can express (according with its astral inheritance) the wisdom, “Chokmah,” related to that Elohim’s Cosmic Ray.
But as many (Monads) as received him (the Cosmic Christ, through the practice of the Arcanum A.Z.F.), to them (through the Initiation) gave he power to become the sons of God (Beni-Elohim), even to them that believe on his name (or word in substance, the mercury of philosophy, and transmute it):
Which were born, not of (physical) blood, nor of (fornication that is the) the will of the flesh (lust, that is), nor of the (evil) will of man, but of (the Holy Spirit or Ruach Elohim of) God.
And the Word (the mercury of philosophy through sexual transmutation) was made flesh (in the Astral Solar Body), and dwelt among us (as our Inner Particular Individual Jesus-Christ), and (within our hearts) we beheld his glory (Hod), the glory as of the only begotten of (Abba) the Father (of all the lights) full of grace and truth.
John 1:12-14
In the First Day of Genesis the stellar inheritance is received by Geburah, the Divine Soul; however, in order for such inheritance or spiritual light to be expressed in our physical consciousness through the Grand Sympathetic Nervous System, it is necessary to experience the Third Day of Genesis, in other words, to create the Astral Body. Only thus, we receive our own Glory, our own inheritance, the wisdom of our own Monad, our own God, our own Elohim.
This is why we have to create our own particular individual Jesus Christ, because “Hod” is the Astral Plane, the Astral Light, and that solar light is CHRIST.
Christ is not a person. Christ is the Astral Light, the Solar Energy that becomes individualized in our Solar Astral Body.
Our spiritual temperament manifests itself in the Astral Plane through the Solar Astral Body. Here is where we know for the first time, through the initiation, the sacred name of our Monad, which we have the right to use in the Astral Plane. Such sacred name has seven esoteric meanings that are interpreted according with the spiritual wisdom of each Monad.
E.g.: Samael Aun Weor is the Dhyani Bodhisattva (in Sanskrit; Beni Elohim in Hebrew) who expresses the wisdom, “Chokmah,” of the Elohim Sabaoth of Mars, whose name is Samael Sabaoth.
But, many Masters (Monads) exist that are united to the same current of red light of Samael Sabaoth. So, each one of them expresses their particular stellar inheritance (their own Glory, “Hod”) of Samael Sabaoth in the Astral Plane.
The Buddhatas along the path can physically channel the Astral Light of Samael Sabaoth with the magical works of “Hod,” “Second Chamber”; this is how the Astral Light of the Red Christ of Aquarius assists his disciples.
The Ether of Life (Sperm and Ovum) is formed in each Initiate according with the particular individual Ruach Elohim of each Monad.
Our Ego is the bad thief that is crucified at the left side of Christ; the ego steals the sexual energy, the inheritance of the Gods, Elohim in order to satisfy his stupidities. The Ego is a thief and a liar.
The Genesic Sexual Water is the final outcome of the transformation of the Astral Light from the Elohim Sabaoth.
Hod, the Astral Body, has to pass through all the passion and ordeals of Jesus in the Astral Body while the energy is rising in the Astral Body.
Then we see we are crucified -- we die on the cross. We are buried, resurrect, and ascend.
This is repeated in each initiate in the Astral Plane.
The Astral Plane is Prana, the Astral Light, and that solar light is the Lord, the Cosmic Christ. Christ is not a divine person or an individual, Christ is energy. That force is the Solar Light, Prana. And when someone has created the Astral Body, then they contain the Astral Light in themselves, they have created within themselves their own particular Jesus Christ, their own particular vehicle in order to be a vehicle of the Cosmic Christ in the Astral Plane.
Then we are going to have that temperament related not with the mechanism of nature but that temperament related to our own particular Monad.
Then we have our Monads inheritance in the Astral Body related to our particular ray (Elohim) and that won’t change in any century or cosmic day, it will always be the same.
When the Monad becomes a Beni-Elohim, Son of Gods and Goddesses in its own level in the Astral Plane, then the Soul receives the name of her own God, the name of her own Monad. When the Monad came out of the Absolute, it always has its sacred name; when the soul enters the Third Initiation of Fire the soul get to know the name of his God. The Initiate sees his own name in the glass of alchemy. Even the name is related with that particular inheritance, with that force, that is related to his own God.
There are many initiates that in past lives created the Astral Body. And because they fell again into animal generation, they ignore they have the Astral Body, because of the ego.
When that Pranic force of Elohim Sabaoth enters the atmosphere of the earth it goes directly, according to own kind, into different plants, minerals, animals, humans.
The Pranic forces are organized "after their kind" in the physical plane, and that kind or that force is always equilibrated in the waters of Yesod.
Prana becomes Akasa which becomes ether which becomes different vibrations which enter the body and transform themselves. We eat different types of vibrations and the final journey is our own particular waters of Yesod, which is called the Ether of Life.
The Ether of Life is in the sexual glands. That water, the Ether of Life, is not the same in each person.
The sperm in the sexual glands of man and the ovum in the woman are completely different, according to their own inheritance, according to their own zodiacal sign, and according to their own ego as well. The ego takes its own energy from the Astral Light in order to be alive.
The ego is the thief that is always crucified on the left of the Lord.
The ego is that part of ourselves that steals the sexual force, the inheritance of the Gods, for pleasures, for stupidities; that is what the ego is. That inheritance of the Lord is the Prana.
Of the two thieves, the thief on the right can take advantage of Prana. The thief on the left destroys Prana for his own pleasure, and that Prana is always on the Cross, and that cross is the union of man and woman; the sexual act.
Related with the Ether of Life, or that water that we have in the sexual organs, that water is the final journey of all the strength of Elohim Sabaoth, that is coming from Glory, Prana, Akasa, ether. That inheritance is what is called Ruach Elohim; the Spirit of Gods and Goddesses that moves on the waters.
And God said: Let the (Akasic) waters (related with the Chemical Ether and Ether of Life that are in the physical body) under the heaven (or firmament in the midst of the waters of Yesod) be gathered together (through sexual transmutation) unto one place, (unto "Hod," the Astral Plane) and let the dry land (or Astral Body) appear: and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth (or molecular earth, Solar Astral vehicle); and the gathering together of the (sexual) waters (through transmutation) called he Seas (or Mare, Maria, the Divine Mother Kundalini who nourishes her Son, the Individual Christ, the Solar Astral Body): and God (the Monad, the Spirit) saw that it was good (for its Cosmic Interior Development).
And God said: Let the (molecular) earth (or Astral Body) bring forth grass (cosmic personality), the herb (organs or senses that capture the Astral Light of the Cosmic Christ) yielding seed (cosmic semen according with his particular Elohim), and the fruit tree yielding fruit (because by their fruits you will know them) after his kind (after his own Cosmic Inheritance), whose seed (cosmic semen according with his particular Elohim) is in itself, upon (the Astral Body) the (molecular) earth (according with its own stellar inheritance): and it was so.
And the earth brought forth grass and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose (cosmic) seed (or cosmic wisdom, "Chokmah") was in its (sexual transmuted) fruit, after his kind (or Particular Cosmic Ray): and God (the Monad) saw that it was good (for his cosmic individual development).
And the evening (from Yesod in the sexual organs) and the morning (until the heart, the Superior Emotional Center) were the third day (or Third Initiation of Major Mysteries).
Genesis 1:9-13
