Two-humanities

The word 'human' is a compound word made of two words: Hum and Manas.

The word Manas is a Sanskrit word that means mind. This is why when we say “man,” we are indicating the mind. The mind is characterized by reasoning. Reasoning distinguishes the rational animals (you and me) from the irrational animals. The mind exists in animals, plants, and minerals. It is not just the patrimony of the human being. But, the difference between the mind of the inferior kingdoms of nature and our mind is that we reason. Reasoning is precisely the difference. That is why we are called “man.”

The other word in “human” is Hum. Hum is the spirit. This is related to the Latin humus, meaning “earth or ground,” that spirit from which the Man is taken. The “spirituous earth,” the life within the “humus,” is that matter, that dirt, which is written in the book of Genesis, where in the beginning God made the mind (the man) from the humus, or from the dust of the earth. It is a symbol. That dust implies the humus, implies the elements, chemical elements, and other unknown elements (archetypes) in which the spirit of God, the “spirituous earth” is hovering, according to the book of Genesis.

When we study the phrase “in the beginning the spirit of God was hovering upon the face of the waters,” that is a statement related with all the kingdoms of nature. The difference between the inferior kingdoms and the human kingdom is that we as rational animals can take advantage of that spiritual force that is hovering within any matter. In order to take advantage of this “spirituous earth,” this spirit of God, we have to have the knowledge about it, because it does not occur mechanically.

“Separate that Spirituous Earth from the dense or crude by means of a gentle heat, with much attention. In great measure it ascends from the Earth up to Heaven, and the superior and the inferior are increased in power.”

It is impossible to comprehend this paragraph of Hermes Trismegistus without the mysteries of sexual alchemy and the infernal worlds.

That is why the title of this lecture is The Mechanical Humanity and Cognizant Humanity. With this title we are indicating the way the spirit of God creates in a mechanical way, and the way the spirit of God can create in a cognizant manner, which is the goal of the universe. This is what in other lectures we called the Partkdolg-Duty of the Being, which means “the cosmic duty of the Being” or “the cosmic duty of the spirit” that each one of us has within. The Being-Partkdolg-Duty is to acquire cognizance, consciousness, awareness of himself within matter.

We always point to the Tree of Life, which is this hieroglyphic made of ten spheres that we call the ten Sephiroth, which in synthesis show us the different parts of the Being. On the top of the Tree of Life, we see the first triangle, that we call the triangle of God, the triangle of the Spirit, the triangle of the Logos. Logos in Greek means “word.” Remember that it is written in the Gospel of John:

"In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God."

The Logos is divided into three, that in Kabbalah are named Kether, Chokmah, Binah (in English: crown, wisdom, and understanding). In Christianity, these three aspects are called Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva. It has different names in different religions, but always has the same attributes, explained in different manners according to the culture and race.

In Greek, cosmos means order, organization. In the universe, we find seven cosmoses. We human beings are called the “microcosmos,” the small cosmos. We are the microcosmos of the macrocosmos (the large cosmos). Macro means large, and micro means small.

Every cosmos must have these three primary forces in order to exist. These three primary forces are the creative forces of the universe: the positive, the negative, and the neutral.

We have three brains:

  1. The intellectual brain, located in our head.
  2. The emotional brain, located between the heart and the navel.
  3. The motor-instinctual-sexual brain in the lower abdomen, related with movements, instincts, and sexual activity. That is what the Bible has called the strength of God.

We have three brains and if you observe yourself, you will see that we think, we feel, and we act in every situation, but unfortunately, we do it mechanically.

In the three brains, we have what we call in esotericism the Bobbin-Kandelnosts, that in English are the vital values that the cosmos places in the three brains in order for us to be alive. In order to think, feel, move, or have instincts, we need vital force. Those are vital values that are called Bobbin-Kandelnosts. There is a certain quantity of Bobbin-Kandelnosts that we have in our three brains in accordance with the Law of Karma (cause and effect). That is why we are alive, thanks to these vital values. When these vital values are exhausted, when we use them completely, then as a consequence death comes.

Within us, we have other forces that act through our three brains. You know that we think, we have thoughts, we have a mind. The mind expresses itself through our intellectual brain in the head. Emotion expresses itself through the emotional brain from the heart to the navel. Any type of motion energy expresses itself through the motor, instinctual, and sexual centers.

The energetic forces of thought, emotion, and action come from subtle bodies called protoplasmic bodies, Lunar bodies. They are related to the mechanicity of nature. The protoplasmic bodies belong to the interior dimensions. Those bodies utilize our physical body through the three brains. When we are physically tired and go to bed to rest, we leave the physical body there and utilize the protoplasmic bodies in order to exist outside of the physical body. This is what the people commonly call dreams; we use the lunar bodies in the dimension of dreams.

As you see, everything that I am explaining right now is something that everybody has. When you are tired, you go to bed to rest and leave your physical body; everyone uses the protoplasmic bodies--the mind and emotion--in the interior dimensions, where we have our dreams. The next day, when the physical body has recuperated its strength, we return into the physical body in order to think feel and act again, in order to keep ahead with our life. That is what is commonly called astral projection (but not conscious), because the dimension where we go when we are asleep is called the astral dimension.

However, since everybody lives in this physical world mechanically (unconsciously), everybody astral projects mechanically into the astral dimension, into the dimension of dreams. This mechanicity relates to the Moon that is that planet that rules the mechanicity of nature. The Moon rules the four seasons, the tides, the waves of the sea. Everything in this nature moves because of the Moon. So we act mechanically according to those mechanical rules that we call the wheel of Samsara which is related with the Kabbalistic world of Malkuth.

In this world of Malkuth (the wheel of Samsara) unfortunately, we live mechanically. We ignore why we are here, where we come from, how long we are going to stay in this physical world, etc. This is because the consciousness is bottled up within the protoplasmic bodies, and submitted to the different activities of nature, which commonly, irrational animals follow by instinct. Nevertheless, we instinctively also follow these mechanical laws, thus instinctually there is no difference between the irrational animal and the rational animal.

The consciousness is what we call the soul. We also call it the Essence. In Zen Buddhism, the consciousness, the soul, the essence is called Buddhata (buddhadhatu). So it has different names. Buddhata, the consciousness, the soul, is part of Tiphereth, which is that Sephirah related with the second triangle of the Tree of Life. The second triangle of the Tree of Life is formed by three Sephiroth: Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth (in English: mercy, severity, and beauty). In plain English we call them:

  1. The Spirit, the individual Spirit of each one of us, this is Chesed, mercy
  2. The Divine Soul, which is Geburah, severity
  3. The Human Soul--Tiphereth, beauty

The Buddhata is a particle, an embryo of that human soul (Tiphereth) which abides in the superior dimensions. The Buddhata is precisely the element that in these times psychology calls the consciousness. It is not a complete human soul, because in order to have a fully developed human soul, for that we have to perform the Partkdolg-Duty of the Being. In this case, the Being, the spirit, is Chesed (mercy). The Spirit has to perform the Partkdolg-Duty within us, which is his cosmic duty: to acquire cognizance of his own matter. We, physically, are the matter of the Spirit. The internal protoplasmic bodies (the mind and the emotion that abide in the world of dreams, fifth dimension) are also matter. Thus we also have to acquire cognizance within that matter, or better said, the Spirit has to acquire cognizance within that matter, not only the physical, in order to be a cognizant individual, that is, non-mechanical.

We ignore many things about the physical body. When I say: "We ignore," I do not mean we have not read about it. I mean we are not conscious of it, thus we ignore it; that is, we are not aware of it. To be conscious is to have cognizance, meaning to be aware of your self at any level: to consciously know yourself.

The Spirit follows the mechanical laws of nature in all the kingdoms: mineral kingdom, plant kingdom, animal kingdom. The souls that evolve in those kingdoms follow the rules of the cosmos, of the mechanicity of nature in the evolving aspect. In evolution, everything is constructive; everything is positive in the evolving way, but mechanical. The minds in the mineral, plant, and human kingdoms obey the laws of nature which are mechanical, yet, they have no cognizance. They are not consciously aware of that. They just follow the rules.

When we enter into this level in which we acquire intellect, reasoning, then we have the opportunity of becoming cognizant of all of that. Then our Being, our Spirit, can perform the Partkdolg-Duty, his cosmic duty, which is to awaken its consciousness. You see, while in the animal, plant, and mineral kingdoms, all of those spirits or forces that animate those kingdoms have no personal cognizance, self-knowledge of themselves, because they follow the mechanicity of the Moon.

The first step is to enter into the kingdom of the intellectual humanoid. We cannot call the intellectual level “the human kingdom,” because a true human has control of his matter. In the beginning we stated that Manas means mind, but when we talk about the mind, we also talk about the matter. Matter exists at every level. In the physical level, which is this physical body or anything you find in the physical universe, matter is physical, cellular matter. But matter also exists internally. The protoplasmic bodies with which we dream are also made of matter, but molecular, atomic matter, and are more subtle than physical matter. Therefore, there exist many types of matter: mechanical and cognizant matter.

Types of Humanoids

When we study humanity, this society, we discover that there are three types of humanoids that act mechanically, that are not yet cognizant of themselves.

  1. The first type is called instinctual and is psychologically centered in instinctual-sexual-motor center. His center of gravity is the instinctual center, the motor center.
  2. Above the instinctual is the emotional type. This type has their psychological center of gravity in the emotional center. In other words, his consciousness is primarily influenced by emotions.
  3. Above the emotional humanoid is the intellectual humanoid, whose center of gravity is in the intellect, the head.

If you observe humanity in this way, you understand that there is no organization and that there is a conflict among these three types of mechanical individuals.

Let us consider an example in which we can see the relation of these three types within ourselves, in this very moment, within our physical body, in order for us to comprehend how this society is.

Let us say, for instance, that a relative of yours died and you go to his funeral. Emotionally, you feel sad, depressed, because you loved that relative of yours very much. When you are in front of the coffin you feel in your emotional center a lot of pain. At that moment, your emotional protoplasmic body is active through your emotional brain. Then, in your intellectual brain, if you observe, you will see how your mind works. You wonder, “Why did he have to leave? I loved him very much. What am I going to do now with my life?” This is another “person” in you, another ego, yet working through the protoplasmic mind, trying to analyze what you are feeling. Then in the motor center, if you observe, is the desire to get away from there; that desire does not want to face the situation. Maybe there is somebody there that you do not like, yet you have to be there. So there are three aspects of you there in that situation: one who wants to leave, the other that is suffering, and the other that is thinking what is going on, why he died.

Similar contradictory psychological states happen in any event of your life. It is very difficult to find a person that is, with his three brains, in the very moment, in balance. Usually the intellectual brain is doing one thing, the emotional is doing another, and the motor is doing something else. So internally, psychologically, we are always in conflict.

To control the three brains is the Partkdolg-Duty of the Spirit, but if you observe society, no one does it. You will find that there are people who are centered in the intellectual brain, that organize in different places. They are very intellectual. They like to go to the library and read books. They are call bookworms. There are other people who are more emotional. Some of them like to go to the American Idol and to sing in order to feel happy and to become an idol, or to go Hollywood and to become an actor or actress. Everything they do is related with the emotional center. Others are not emotional or intellectual, they are very instinctual. They go and like to practice karate, kung fu, or boxing, or go to play a sport. As you see, related to the three brains, there are different activities in this world.

This society is controlled by the intellectual humanoids. The intellectual humanoids control the emotional ones and the instinctual ones.

Among these three types of mechanical people, there are many types of vices and degeneration. Among the instinctual people, it is common to find drug addiction. They like to feel the sensations in the body related with drugs and alcohol. Many people like to watch pornography, using their intellect, emotion, and sexual centers in the wrong way. There are people who like to fight; these people are very instinctual. You look at them, and they immediately want to fight just because you look at them; they are very instinctual.

Let us observe society, the whole world: the whole humanity is a mechanical humanity. We are in what the Bible calls "the confusion of tongues," because the language of the intellectual is different from the language of the emotional, and the language of the emotional is different from the language of the instinctual. The instinctual types do not understand the emotional or the intellectual. The emotional types do not understand the intellectual or the instinctual. The intellectual do not understand the emotional or the instinctual. This is why there are a lot of problems in this society. World War I and II happened between these three types of humanoids. They fight among themselves.

There are a lot of sects from different religions, people who are very fanatic (symbolized in the Bible as the Pharisees), who are just emotional types. We also find a lot of people who are in the intellectual center, and in the Bible are called the Scribes or the Sadducees, who intellectualize religion. Intellectually, they disagree on different things; this is why they do not understand. Let us see the example of Christianity. Christianity is a beautiful religion, but nobody understands it. The proof is that they disagree, thus, they cannot be united: Catholics fight Protestants, Protestants fight Catholics. Many religious people disagree and always fight each other. Why do they disagree? It is because each one of them is also in internal conflict, centered in the different places of their body. They have no organization within themselves. If we do not have organization within, we cannot have an organization without. Of course, if we observe how Christianity is against Muslims, or Islam against Judaism, then we also find there a big trouble, because intellectually or emotionally they do not understand each other.

Gnosis studies the synthesis, the base of all religions. We have no religious conflict. But there are people who have conflicts: Christians against Muslims, Muslims against Jews, etc. Everyone wants to accuse the brother, the sister of other religions in order to justify that we are right, but the reality is that the problem exists within each one of us, in the three brains, because we are following the mechanicity of the Moon through our matter, which is lunar.

Physically, we were created mechanically. We came into this world without knowing why. The physical body was given to us freely. We did not fight for it, but we have to follow the physical laws in order to be alive. We have to make effort in order to be cognizant of what we have, because we have to take advantage of our physicality, our mind, our emotions, but the one who has to do it is the Being.

The Being is the Spirit, our Father who is in heaven. We must understand that Prayer of the Lord Jesus that says:

"Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven..."

This is precisely what we have to do: to bring the kingdom of God, the kingdom of the Spirit, inside of us. This is not a prayer to believe in. “Thy kingdom come” is done by acting, by exercising the pressure of his will on our three brains: “Thy will be done on earth (our physicality) as it is in heaven.”

Then we have to understand from where, and who is the one that has to do such pressure: It is the consciousness, the soul, the Buddhata. Unfortunately - inside of us - this Buddhata, this soul, this consciousness is dispersed, divided, split asunder into many pieces: it is trapped in our anger, lust, pride, greed, laziness, gluttony, etc., and the many defects within. Each one of them is protoplasmic matter that acts according to the laws of nature, the mechanical laws of the Moon. The Being has to exercise control over those protoplasmic elements that we have within. That is precisely “thy kingdom come.”

This is what, in Gnosticism, we call the psychological moon. As a Moon exists out there that moves all matter mechanically, and all the souls within that matter follow that law mechanically, another moon has to exist. We have to create another moon within, to push aside the mechanicity of the Moon, and to create another moon within. That is precisely the Partkdolg-Duty of the Being that implies super-efforts, implies the work of willpower inside of us.

"The human soul," as Descartes, the great philosopher, stated, "as willpower acts in the pineal gland." The pineal gland is that gland in the very center of our intellectual brain. If you introduce a needle ear to ear, and another needle in the root of the nose between your eyebrows, exactly where the two needles cross is where the pineal gland is. In that little pineal gland is where the soul abides as willpower. That soul as willpower has to be connected with the heart. In the heart we have the altar of our soul. You see, pineal gland and heart. This is why in Gnosticism we say that we have to develop intuition.

There are two types of intuition: hunches, here in the heart, is intuition when you follow your heart, your hunch. There is another type of intuition in the pineal gland which comes by images. Sometimes a thought or an image comes to your mind instantaneously. That is called superlative intuition, which sometimes works during our dreams when your Spirit sends you messages in images.

Superlative intuition is in relation with the pineal gland. It relates to those dreams that are very weird - symbolically speaking. These are messages that the Spirit sends to you. These messages come through the pineal gland. They have to be interpreted, so meditate on them in order to listen the voice of the silence, the voice of God, and this way you will understand what your Spirit, your inner God, is telling you, when trying to guide you. He wants to perform his Partkdolg-Duty, his cosmic duty, but for that the Spirit has to control the consciousness. He has to control you, in other words.

It sounds sacrilegious to say this, but it is what it is: You have to allow him to do that, because within us there is another aspect which is the devil, the ego, the defects and vices that we have. Normally our will is following the devil’s will, following the confusion of tongues, the mechanicity of the mind. But we have to follow the will of God by exercising pressure. For that we have to remember God. Not to believe in God, but to remember God from moment to moment. To believe in God is easy; anybody can believe in God, since to believe is related to the intermediate mind. The intellectual brain is the vehicle of the mind, where you have all your beliefs or non-beliefs. You find people who really believe in God, and other that are called atheists who do not believe in God. Yet here, we are not talking about beliefs. We are talking about remembrance, which is an activity of the pineal gland.

God has no form, so to remember God is to be here and now, to exercise control of your three brains, to become cognizant, to acquire cognizance of yourself, so you as a soul can receive the help of your inner Being.

As we said: "Our Father, who art in heaven." In Gnosticism, in Kabbalah, heaven is here in the head. Yes, if you observe the Tree of Life, as we said in the beginning, Kether, Chokmah, Binah--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the three primary forces--the Logos relates to your head in your physical body. So when you say: "Our Father, who art in heaven," this means that you are remembering your inner Being in the pineal gland. You are aware, cognizant. Not to say it mechanically! Remember, there are many mechanical people in relation with beliefs, who believe in God. We do not want to be mechanical people, believers, no. We want to be cognizant individuals, who remember God, to be always cognizant, and allow that force in the pineal gland to act in our physical body, in our three brains, to be aware of that protoplasmic Lunar matter that is us.

This is what is called the psychological moon. When you start doing that, you are creating a psychological Moon within. In other words, you are creating a cognizant center of gravity, a permanent center of gravity in your soul, in your consciousness, in the pineal gland. Right now, your center of gravity is dispersed everywhere. This is why Master Jesus, in the Gospel, states:

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. (So, if you do not love your enemies, you cannot create that center of gravity.)

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so?

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. – Matthew 5: 43-48

All of this means that you do not have to love yourself too much; that you do not have to have self-esteem, to adore yourself, which is precisely the contrary to what other psychologists are teaching in this day and age, this is, that you have to adore yourself. Why do you have to adore anger, pride, vanity, lust, greed, and all of those vices and errors that you have within? That is stupid! You have to fight against that! So when you are in front of your neighbor, and your neighbor is accusing you, you have to receive that with gladness. How do you receive that with gladness? By observing yourself in the very moment when you are insulted, the reaction, in the three brains, of those elements that you have within. Usually pride, self-esteem, is hurt when somebody accuses you or insults you. The mechanical reaction will be anger. That is precisely what we said: Do not be angry, do not hate your neighbor.

Master Jesus said: "Love your enemies." But how are we going to love our enemies if we love ourselves too much? Impossible! That's why in this day and age there are a lot of wars, a lot of hatred, because each one of us loves ourselves too much. When we love ourselves too much, we cannot love our neighbor. If we love our God, of course, then we can love the neighbor. Because when we love our God, then we are against the enemies of God which we carry inside, because God is love. But all of that which we have inside is mechanical.

What Master Jesus teaches is what we call the Holy Denying: To deny those elements that each one of us carries in abundance within; yet this is done not in a masochist way, because that is mechanicity. There are a lot of people that receive insults, accusations, and they think they are doing well, that this is the right way. Yet, that is mechanicity. I am not teaching you here to be masochist, but to be cognizant, to control your anger, to control your pride. That is only possible by being cognizant, conscious of yourself in the moment when you receive the insult.

When somebody is insulting you and you remember God in yourself, then he says: "Here is the opportunity to love my neighbor, to love my enemy." But for that you have to hold the reins of your anger that wants to jump on the person and smack him. And of course, for that you have to be against your pride, because usually anger jumps when pride is hurt, or your self-esteem, your self-importance. It is easy to see that when you are conscious, cognizant, that is, when you are remembering God and observing yourself.

This is how to acquire a cognizant center of gravity. I mean that you are no longer centered in your ego, in your self-esteem, in your defects, vices and errors, but centered in your soul, in your consciousness. That is not easy, because it is a fight at every moment, at every instant. To acquire that center of gravity in the consciousness is not easy, but you have to do it day by day until finally controlling your three brains, to acquire control of your protoplasmic bodies, to acquire control of your physical body. Then you are no longer intellectual, emotional, or instinctual. Then you are different. You are now an equilibrated person.

The Equilibrated Person

An equilibrated man is the one who exercises control of any psychological element within his three brains.

When you arrive at the level of being an equilibrated man, then you are ready to enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The kingdom of heaven that is preached in the Gospels is not for the mechanical humanity, because the kingdom of heaven is another level above the mechanical humanity. In the kingdom of heaven you find harmony. You do not find fights like here, in this physical world. There, everything is peaceful.

How are you going to enter into the kingdom of heaven, if you have psychological havoc within, chaos within? People think that when they physically die, just because they believe in this religion or that other religion, that they will go to heaven. How are they going to go to heaven when they are in conflict? The devil cannot be in heaven. You have to be in control of your own psychology. Otherwise it will be, as Master Samael Aun Weor explains in one of his books, like taking a monkey from the jungle and putting it in a luxurious salon with people that are very well dressed. Everybody will say: "What is this monkey doing here, jumping everywhere and destroying everything?" If we go to heaven with this chaos that we carry within, it would be exactly like that. The angels would look at us and say: "What is this monkey doing here?"

We have to gain the right to enter into the kingdom of heaven, and this is by acquiring control of our psyche. It is not by believing.

This is why there is written in the Bible another message of Master Jesus in parables in John 3: 12, 13:

If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

And no (mechanical) man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man (the human soul, the psyche) which is in heaven.

Master Jesus also said in Matthew 25:31-46:

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then shall he answer them, saying, verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

The Sheep and the Goats

You might ask, "Well, who are the goats and who the sheep are here?" Everybody might think that he is a meek sheep, yet indeed, if we are honest to ourselves, we have to admit that we are goats.

In astrology, the goat is associated with Capricorn. Capricorn is related with the knees and the legs, and is an earth sign.

There is another animal that looks like a goat, but it is not a goat. It is the ram. The baby ram is a lamb. Remember that it is said: "The lamb of God that erases the sins of the world is Christ." The lamb (baby ram) is associated with the sign of Aries, and Aries rules the head.

Now you see the two animals. The goat is below and the ram is above, or the sheep of Aries that rules, as we said, the head: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, the three atoms of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are in the head. So you find here that “them on his right hand,” the sheep, are up in heaven, and “them on the left hand,” the goats, are down in Klipoth, related with Saturn, which is death, because Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. Aries is ruled by Mars, the God of fire. God is fire.

In the center between Capricorn and Aries, that is, between the goat (legs) and the lamb (head), we find the heart. Tiphereth is the heart; Tiphereth is Nous, the Son of Man. Tiphereth is related to the Human Soul, to the consciousness, the Buddhata. In the heart, we have to choose between the sheep above or the goats below. They are inside of us. It is not what people think: "If I believe in what this religion says, or what the Bible says, then I am going to be a sheep, and if I do not follow that belief, then I am going to be a goat." No, it is not by belief, but a psychological work that you have to perform. That psychological work is within your physical body and within your protoplasmic Lunar bodies. It is the work of the soul here, in the heart, in union with the Nous, the Spirit.

As we said, in the pineal gland we have the seat of willpower. In the pineal gland we have the seat or an atom of the Holy Spirit. When we concentrate in that seat and exercise control of our mind, heart, and sex, then we are then following the Christ, the superior forces. Yet if we concentrate in the seat of desire that is in our lower abdomen (waist down), where are the forces of the mechanicity of nature, which are the instinctual or the animal forces that everybody follows, then:

And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. – Revelation 2:12-16

In the heart, we have what we call the Son of God, the Son of Man. The Son of Man has different meanings, but in the physical body, the Son of Man is called the Nous Atom, which is a magnetic center, a Christonic force in the left ventricle of the heart. That is the intelligence that we have in the physical body that purifies the blood. That is the intelligence that takes the impure blood, pumps it to the lungs in order to receive the oxygen, and that returns the blood into the heart in order to send it again into the whole body. That atomic intelligence here in the heart is called the Nous Atom, which in Kabbalah, in Alchemy, is called the Son of Man. If you want to look for the Son of Man look inside of you, it is that atom.

If you start following that atom that performs the purification not only of your blood but of your psyche, then that atom will increase, it will develop, and will become a complete human being, a Son of Man within you, because that atom follows the Solar laws. You see, there are two laws here that this humanity follows.

  • The lunar law, the mechanical laws of nature
  • The Solar laws, the Solar forces which are the Solar forces of Christ

By following the superior forces is how we get in tune with our own particular Spirit and start creating the psychological moon, which is the center of gravity. Having done this, you will no longer be a mechanical individual that will follow your emotions, that will follow your thoughts, your instincts mechanically in order to make of yourself a chaos. Anything that you will do, if you start exercising pressure in your consciousness, will be Solar. That moon you will create, the psychological moon, will reflect the Solar light--consciously, not mechanically. The Moon that you see in the space, the satellite of the Earth, reflects the Solar light mechanically and rules all the kingdoms. All the creatures of the mineral, plant, and animal kingdoms follow that energy mechanically, but when we start working in the Gnostic way, then we exercise pressure in the consciousness and we create the psychological moon in which the light, the Solar force, will be reflected in us, but consciously.

We must direct the consciousness as when we guide the light of a lantern. When you are in a room in darkness and you want to see where things are in that room which is in darkness, you then direct the light everywhere you want, thus you light your path. Precisely in the same way you must direct your consciousness--with willpower. This means that while in the different psychological situations you must direct your consciousness by means of willpower, because right now your consciousness is everywhere. You do not have control of it. Everyone is moved by the mechanical laws of nature and the consciousness is here, there, everywhere. That is why we are in chaos. We do not have control of our life and we suffer, because when somebody insults us, we react with anger and then the liver hurts and different sicknesses appear. But when we are controlling our emotions, thoughts, actions, instinctual action, when we act consciously, then that psychological moon is being created little by little, and then we are entering into this quality of person, as I said, that is equilibrated. This person is not in the kingdom of heaven, but is no longer also in the kingdom of the confusion of tongues, or the kingdom of hell, because people in the confusion of tongues or the kingdom of hell are slaves of the mechanicity of their psychological function, whereas if we start doing the Gnostic work, we then psychologically separate our selves from humanity. Then we start understanding and comprehending them better.

This is how we start loving our enemy--with comprehension, with analysis, with meditation, because that is the way. If you do not comprehend, if you do not understand that the one that is insulting you is a victim of his own anger, of his own self-esteem, that is why he is hurt and is insulting you--if you do not understand that in the very moment, of course, you'll react also with anger and you will insult him in return. But if you are aware of that and controlling yourself, then you will feel pity for the person that is angry, because you understand that he is suffering. Then you say, "Why am I going to be identified with this emotion? If this person is angry and insulting me, why do I have to be the same way? Let me control my pride, and see my anger. I have to comprehend, meditate, in order not to be in the same level. I have to control myself. I have to have my own psychological moon. If this person likes to follow the mechanicity of nature, OK, let them follow it, but I am going to follow my inner psychological moon, my own consciousness. I am going to reflect the light of the Sun in the conscious manner." This is how you start loving your enemy.

You start separating within your heart the goats from the sheep. The sheep is that element that is fire, which is related with the superior forces of your head, of your God that enters into your body. The goat is the mechanicity that you have in your body that you follow instinctually. Sometimes, for instance, your body is not feeling hunger, but because you like this type of food you feel hunger, but it is gluttony. If you observe yourself, then say: "My physical body is fed. Why do I have to eat this? I do not have to follow this goat." If you observe the goats, the goats eat anything. This animal is really amazing. A long time ago, I observed – when visiting South America - a goat with a big beard, very old; he liked to drink beer, any kind of beer. We were pouring beer and he was drinking it, swallowing the liquid, and eating anything around. That is a goat.

We have to control our own particular goat, and transform that goat into a sheep, because all of those goats beneath our lower abdomen are damned. All of these vices, errors, instincts are damned because they are causing sicknesses in our physical body and our mind, in our heart, because we are following them mechanically, but if we start putting the consciousness in everything that we do, then we are bringing the sheep into our heart, and then we are performing everything consciously and we are taking care of our life. That is simple, because the Son of Man is here in our heart.

When the Son of Man is coming in his glory, glory in Hebrew is Hod, and Hod is the astral light in the heart. When the Son of Man comes in his glory, it means when your consciousness starts controlling the Solar light in your heart. Then you will see the division of goats and sheep within you. Of course, that parable goes beyond the internal interpretation, because, obviously, the person who follows mechanicity is a goat outside, as well. There are many, there are lots of goats outside! The sheep are very few, the ones who control themselves control their consciousness, control their protoplasmic bodies. They want to create the psychological moon. Those are few, because among the goats are also people that believe they are sheep, since the goat and the sheep look alike.

Understand, it is not to believe that you are a sheep. You have to control your mind; you have to exercise a psychological dominion within you in order to make the separation.

Then, when you start having control of yourself, of your consciousness, of your mind, of your heart, and your sex, you are entering into another level, and you can become a Solar man, or a Solar human being, a type of individual that is no longer mechanical but cognizant, not only in the three-dimensional world. When I was advising you to do this practice of controlling your three brains, it is in order for you to be aware of your physicality, of your psyche within this physical world. But this physical world is not the only world. Above it is the ethereal world, and above that is the astral world, and above that is the mental world, and above that is the causal world, and above that is the conscious world; above that is the spiritual world, and above that is the Logos, the world of Logos. You see, there are many heavens, or many levels. There are nine heavens above us, but we are here on the Earth.

How do we expect to be aware, to be cognizant of the superior worlds, of the kingdom of heaven, as Master Jesus stated, if we are not aware of this Earth? We first have to be aware here, to create the psychological moon, in order to create the psychological sun. That is another step. For that, Master Jesus said:

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a (equilibrated) man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. – John 3:3

To be born again is not a matter of believing in something. You are born again by applying the sexual energy, which is the only energy that creates in the mineral kingdom, in the plant kingdom, in the animal kingdom, and in the human kingdom. Thus to be born again is not a matter of believing, but of utilizing the sexual force, and for that you need to know Tantra.

In order to perform Tantra, you have to start controlling your three brains, because if you are going to practice Tantrism by following your goat, your goat likes to fornicate. Obviously, when practicing Sahaja Maithuna (Tantra) you have to transmute your sexual energy, but you cannot practice sexual transmutation if you are following the goat. But if you are accustomed to have the center of gravity in your consciousness, in the moment of the sexual act you will say, "I am going - in the sexual act - to steal the fire from this goat of mine." Now you understand why Lucifer is symbolized with the legs of a goat. Lucifer has the power of sex. He has the trident. That trident is the symbol of the three primary forces acting mechanically in your body, in your three brains: intellect, emotion, and instinct. That is the fork of Lucifer: your three brains.

Lucifer with the goat legs resides in your sex. Lucifer says: "Oh, you want to control me? I have all the force of the three brains here in the sex." Yet, if you follow your goat, then you eat the forbidden fruit. Then Lucifer might say: “Try again next time and maybe.."

The way to do it is by controlling your three brains, that is, to control your three brains when performing the sexual act. Then you are stealing the fire from the devil. What devil? Your ego, of course, because you are the devil; Lucifer is the energy. Lucifer is not an individual that exists outside. He is inside. He is the sexual force that utilizes the fork, the power of the three brains for the mechanicity of nature. We have to transform our devil into a human being. As in mythology they say, we have to transform the donkey into a man.

It comes into my mind, Jesus entering Jerusalem while riding the donkey, controlling his animal. Nevertheless, anybody who goes to the Middle East, to the Holy Land and enters Jerusalem, the donkey is riding on top of them, because the animal is controlling them. We have to enter as Jesus, controlling the animal, the donkey, which is the same symbol as the goat.

We make that division; we make that separation between the goats and the sheep during the whole life. The Son of Man in our heart has to do it.

Those elements, which are lust, anger, pride, are condemned, damned to hell. We have to disintegrate them. They are the enemies of God, which are inside of us. This is how we psychologically die. This way, little by little, the Solar Man is appearing inside of us. The second birth is not mechanical as people think.

The Solar man is formed by the solar bodies, the wedding garment of the soul that you have to create for your Son of Man that you have in your heart.

  1. Solar Astral Body
  2. Solar Mental Body
  3. Solar Causal Body

When you create your Solar astral body, then you enter into another level, a human being that has control of the superior emotions and is conscious when he goes out of the body. When the body is sleeping, he is conscious of that astral level. He is not sleeping like we. After that he creates the Solar Mental Body and then he is conscious in the mental plane. Finally he creates the body of willpower and enters into Tiphereth, the causal world. As we have said in other lectures, he creates Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the three children of Noah inside. Then he becomes a Solar Man. He enters into the kingdom of heaven.

So there are two humanities: the cognizant humanity, which is related with the astral, mental, and causal Solar Bodies, which are related with the superior dimensions, with the kingdom of heaven, as Master Jesus states; and we have the kingdom of the confusion of tongues, the mechanical humanity.

In order to enter into the kingdom of heaven, you need to annihilate your mechanical moon, and you have to create your Solar Bodies.

There is another verse here that I want to read for you, it relates to what Master Jesus said in Matthew 6:19-24

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Did you ever read this? People read and comment about this many times. What eye is Jesus talking about here? It is not related to the physical eyes. It is the pineal eye, the intuitive eye. That is the eye that allows us to enter into the superior dimensions, that allows us to see heaven. If you heard about it, the third eye is what mythologists call the cyclopean eye. The Cyclops have only one eye, meaning that they are only able to see the spirit, not the physicality. So if in that eye you have light, as we explained, if you are exercising that control of "Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven," then the force of your God enters to the pineal gland and exercises on your earth, which is your physicality, the will, as it is in heaven. "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" means that on earth, which is your own earth, your physicality, God’s will is done.

When God’s will is done in our earth (body), then your third eye starts working. Then there is light there, and your kingdom, your life, will be full of life. But if you do not care about your third eye, the seat of your soul, and do not do it, then “If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!”

If you sit in meditation and observe the center of your brain and then you enquire: "How much light do I have in that center, in that pineal gland, in that Sahasrara Chakra?" Then if there is darkness there, how great is that darkness! This means, how great is that darkness related with all your defects. But if you want to see light, then start developing your consciousness. Start working with the psychological moon. You cannot serve two masters, for you will hate one and love the other. That division is inside of us, the goat and the sheep, or God and mammon; the same thing: you cannot serve two masters.

When you enter into this path, you want to self-realize yourself, meanwhile you go outside and you are with the neighbor, you are acting like the devil. So to do the effort in order to serve only God is a psychological effort; it is a work that you have to perform every day by following your consciousness and by cleaning your psyche; mammon is the mind, and God is in the pineal gland, there, in the center of your brain. So you cannot serve God in the pineal gland and mammon, your mind, at the same time.

Mammon is related with wealth, the riches of the earth. It is a demon, an individual that treasures gold, money. This is why it is stated that this society is a mammon society. Everybody wants money and more money. "Give me gold, intellectualism," everything in relation with this mind. "I want to be famous," so you have to be a millionaire, etc. That is mammon. So, to be against mammon is to be against your mind, and not to be a slave of money. You need money, OK, but do not be a slave of money, do not be identified with it; follow the rules of God. This is why Jesus said: "Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven." Heaven is in the head, it relates to the pineal gland, and beyond your consciousness. “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,” because everybody on the earth wants to be rich, to have treasures. It is not bad to have what you need, to have money. It is good, but do not identify with it. Do not make your life out of covetousness; do not make of collecting money the reason to be alive. Just have what you need. What do you need? You need to eat, to clothe yourself, and to have a shelter. Clothes, food, and shelter is why you need money in this day and age. In previous ages, in ancient times you did not need money for that. But now, money is the base for that, so you need it, thus get it just to satisfy your necessities. But let your priority be the kingdom of your own consciousness, the kingdom of your own Spirit, because if you want to work today for God and tomorrow for mammon, or in the morning for mammon and in the afternoon for God, then, you are serving two lords at the same time. You cannot do it.

If you work because you need money in order to survive, do it, but in your job, be aware of yourself. Work for your God. Be in hell as an angel, not as a demon. This is difficult, because none of the demons like to be in hell acting as angels but as demons, yet the angel is tested in hell. Do you want to be an angel? Do you want to awaken your consciousness? The consciousness awakens here in hell where you have to be tested so that you can work with yourself.

This is how this must be understood, because there are people who, for instance, say: "First I'm going to have my home, my car, a certain quantity of money in the bank, and then I will work for God." That is ludicrous, because then the ego of greed within you will say: "Well, you need this, and this more, and this more," and like this, years pass, you get old, and at the end you die. And from those treasures that you were treasuring a lot, you do not take a cent, nothing, because you go alone into the grave and this is it. Then you go into other dimensions. Your physical life ended. So why do we have to identify with the treasures of the earth, with mammon?

This is why Jesus said unto his disciples:

Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. – Matthew 19: 23, 24

To be rich is not only accomplished with money. There are a lot of people who are poor financially, but are very rich psychologically speaking. In which way are they rich? They are very proud, they have a lot of defects, vices, and they defend their psychology, their pride, against anything. They are very “rich.” In other words, the treasures that they are treasuring within themselves, relate to the earth beneath, to Klipoth. If you look within them to see if they have something godly in their consciousness, in their heaven, you see nothing. They do not even believe in God. There are atheists that just want to make money, they say: "God doesn't exist," that's it. They have all their treasures on earth. They have nothing in heaven, obviously.

“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,” thus, obviously, to be rich in heaven is something psychological. “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth”, thus to be rich on earth is something related with psychological defects and vices. So, how much lust, greed, anger, pride, vanity, laziness, gluttony, etc., do we have within? If we have a lot, then we are the rich of the parable in Matthew 19: 23, 24.

So, by being rich on earth is hardly difficult that we will enter into the kingdom of heaven. This is why it is also written:

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. – Matthew 5: 3

To be poor in spirit means psychologically poor in defects, it does not mean to be penniless or to adore poverty here in this physical world. No. "Poor in spirit," means that psychologically you are against your defects and vices. Then you are poor in spirit and the kingdom of spirit is for you, because you lay up for yourself treasures in heaven, thus your consciousness is expanding, expanding in heaven, expanding, and penetrating into the cognizant humanity. Poor in egotistical attitudes, that is the meaning of that blessing. It has nothing to do with money, because there are a lot of people, great Masters like, for instance Saint Germain; he is poor in spirit, but he is the master that always appears dressed very well and with a lot of wealth, but he is not identified with his wealth. He walks the way of God, and has control over his own lower nature.

Poor in spirit is the attitude towards your own psychology, and to be rich on earth is to be identified with your pride, with your anger, with your self-esteem, with your self-importance. It is very easy to be rich on the earth, as when you are before somebody that is going to serve you. In particular, in the post office I experience that. I am there and they are going to serve me. I am going to pay. But they are always, how do you call that, very angry, and then they treat you very bad. Personally, my self-esteem and self-importance is hurt many times. You see, I go there to put books for the people who want to know about Gnosis, so, when I return here, I say: "Well, she was right," or "He was right," but usually it is she, because he is always very kind; you know, because of their stress they are very bad against costumers… Well, she has the right to be angry. Who knows how many clients she has attended there, so she is really tired, and treating me very badly with no love, but she is giving me a service and I have to pay. Why do I have to demand kindness from this person? I have to love her. But believe me, when I'm meditating, my self-esteem says, "To hell with her. How are you going to love her?" Then, I say to my self-esteem: "You shut up. You have to die here, because I have to love my enemies." Is not that right? And, of course, there is a lot of pride in me that says: "Do not. Are you going to allow this person to be on top of you, to trample on you?" "No. I won't allow her to trample on me," then I say to my defect, “if that person is upset or stressed with her job, it's her problem, not mine. I do not have to be identified with it. Let her be angry. If God doesn't stop her, why am I going to stop her? Let her be! I will not identify with her." Thus, I leave the place with my tail between my legs and I say, "I have to be humble here."

Yet, usually if you do not have this type of knowledge, you just react and answer mechanically. I saw many discussions there, people acting and fighting each other. Sometimes in the line people are saying: "This is unbelievable. These people are lazy. Look, they're chatting to each other and we here waiting for almost half an hour…" etc, etc. Bla-bla-bla-bla-bla… people are very impatient.

And you, if you are there, say: "Why do I have to be angry? If I start arguing like them, is the line going to go faster? No it's going to go in the same pace. Whether I'm angry or not, I have to face the consequences. I have to reach the window and to do my things.” So it is stupid to be angry, but people do not think like that. They are, Bla-bla-bla-bla-bla-bla, and comparing, talking about other post offices and other places, and like that, they are spending a lot of energy.

So, most people react mechanically to everything in life, when they go to shop in other places or when they are in different circumstances, yet this is how you have to do your psychological work.

Whether you enter the kingdom of heaven (the cognizant humanity) or you are going to keep ahead in the mechanicity of this humanity in which you are a slave, humanity brings you an opportunity in order to know yourself.

When you know your defects and you annihilate them and get rid of them, you say: "My goodness, now I have another virtue, another power in me. My clairvoyance is sharper. That light that was bottled up in my anger is now active in my pineal gland. That light that was imprisoned within my pride is now active in my consciousness. Thank goodness that “I” was against me." Then you realize: "I have to thank that person that insulted me, because without her insult I would not have caught that defect in me. Thanks to her I am growing spiritually." So then you love the person. This is how you love your enemy, when you realize that the person who was psychologically hurting you was doing good in the end, if you took advantage of such a situation. If you do not take advantage of it, if you do not meditate and comprehend your defects, then you just develop masochism or mechanicity.

Do you have questions?

Q: Do we go and look for ordeals, because this life is full of ordeals.

A: The ordeals come to you where you work, where you live, with your relatives, with your acquaintances. With them you have your gymnasium in order to know yourself, in order to know what triggers your pride, your anger, your self-esteem, etc. When you are in interaction with people, this is how you discover yourself. Then in order to know yourself, you have to meditate and get rid of what you do not like, through meditation, through the techniques that we teach you. That is the way.

Nevertheless, there are some masters that are very advanced. They no longer react before anything, but they still feel that they have defects inside. Therefore they go and purposely look for somebody to insult them. They start talking about what they love the most to this person and wait until the person will insult them and say: "I'm so sick and tired of you preaching here," and start insulting them. When they feel hurt, because the person won't take what they have, even when they do it with love, then he says: "OK, thank you very much," and then he says, "Why did I feel hurt?" Then they go and meditate and comprehend that, "I do not have to take that. I do not have to feel hurt because somebody says he doesn't believe in what I believe or doesn't follow what I follow. I have to respect the free will of everybody. Why do I have to identify with it?"

Meanwhile there are other people who would like to force you, to open your mind and put their knowledge there by force… This is not godly… You have to respect the freedom of others. If people like it, good, but if they do not like it, at least you did the effort. But there are some egos inside of you that feel hurt when people mock you, or insult you because of your beliefs, because of your path. That is precisely the work. That mechanicity of nature is always before us. The opportunity to enter into the cognizant humanity is always, every second, in front of us. It depends on us, depends on our will to do it.

Q: Do animals have mind?

A: The cat, the dog, they have protoplasmic mind, but they do not rationalize, obviously. They have mind, but instinctual mind. We are the only one that rationalize.

Q: But are not animals awakened?

A: Animals have self-awareness, but not in the cognizant manner; they act instinctually, psychologically, they are not individualized. You see, a cat is always aware of himself, but animals act collectively and instinctually. We have to be aware of ourselves as well, but acting with superior laws, with cognizance. That is in order to study; when you meditate, you analyze yourself, you comprehend and start discovering other laws that relate to your consciousness and you become cognizant of the mechanical laws that are reacting in you mechanically all the time, like in any cat or any dog. Meditation is the tool in order to discover and exercise control of your own psyche. You have to control your moon first. That mechanical moon is related with your mind, with your heart, with your sex: three brains, that is your psychological moon, through which you always act mechanically. Yet, in order to exercise control over that mechanical moon, you have to create your own psychological moon. After that you start entering into the Solar light, the Solar laws, which relate to the kingdom of heaven, to the Son of Man.

Q: Do we have to take care of what we speak?

A: The Logos is God, the Logos is the Word. The Word is sound, the vibration. God is not a person. That is why it is written:

In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God.

In the beginning the Word spoke to Himself about Himself.

These are the three aspects, three forces, three sounds, three forces.

But, in us, the Logos is the language. When we are in tune with the superior forces and we speak, then that Logos is the message. It is the word, it is the knowledge we are giving. But if we are not in tune with the superior forces, then the word could hurt. We can hurt with the word, like with insults that the people use with the forces of the three brains mechanically. They, with their words, with their insults, not only degenerate their psyche, you know, but also their physical body, their physicality.

Do you know that the quality of sperm that man creates and the quality of ovum that the woman creates is related with what we eat, we think, and we talk? This is how the seed is made directly, so when you engender a child, they are inheriting your thoughts, your words, etc. Not only physically, but all their mannerisms, their mechanicity. When we are changing, the sperm's quality is different, as well the ovum, and the quality of person is psychologically higher. So we bring in our life, in accordance to our life, the different circumstances and even children.

Q: What about the ecstasy of saints?

A: In the ecstasy we will say you are raising your consciousness. Your consciousness vibrates with the same sound, in affinity with your own spirit, which is God within. It is a higher vibration. God vibrates in a higher octave. In order for us to be in union, which is the communion or the religare, 'to re-unite, to religion'--the word religion comes from the union of the consciousness with the spirit. To acquire ecstasy, you have to be in the same octave with your God. But then, when you enter yourself, you discover that anger is not in the same vibration or octave with your God, pride neither, and all the defects. Then you have to take your consciousness out of those psychological elements and to put in the octave of your God and that's called religion or union, or Yug, Yoga, psychologically speaking.
