Alchemical Exodus

 

“And Elohim said, Let the (genital) waters under (the central nervous system) the heavens be gathered together unto one place (the spinal medulla), and let the dry land (of Canaan) appear: and it was so. And Elohim called the dry land Earth (physical, astral, mental, causal bodies); and the gathering together of the waters (or fluids of the central nervous system and genitalia) called he Seas: and Elohim saw that it was good.” - Genesis 1: 9, 10

Exodus is esoterically related to the element water. If we recall the Bible, in Exodus, as well as in the Book of Genesis, we will see that the element water is often referred to. In this day and age it seems as though all of the Gnostics are very preoccupied with the theme of the Exodus, the story that recounts the escape of the 12 tribes of Israel from slavery; slavery being the symbolic representation of the bondage of the spiritual archetypes that each one of us carry within, which are exiled from the Absolute (the Ain Soph) into the world of action and matter (Malkuth). We know, according to the various prophecies of the different traditions, that the 7 Aryan sub-races in which we currently live will sooner or later disappear. The Great White Lodge, masters, monads who have freed themselves from bondage, have as their goal the spiritual development of mankind. They are, in esoteric terms, interested in accomplishing this aim through the Theomertmalogos.

The Theomertmalogos—the name given to the intelligence of the Absolute, or the prime emanation of the Solar Absolute—is always interested in creating solar men, solar human beings. The Solar Absolute’s prime emanation, or the Theomertmalogos, has already lost hope for this humanity, because only few are interested in solar ideas.

“And Jesus said to his disciples: “I am come forth out of that First Mystery (Alpha), which is (Omega) the last mystery, that is the four and twentieth mystery (the Weaver or “Theomertmalogos” ).

“Pistis Sophia, herself, is one of the Four-and-twenty Emanations.

The Four-and-twentieth Mystery, inside of which (Alpha) the First Mystery is hidden, is the loom of God.

The “Theomertmalogos” weaves and unweaves its own loom with infinite wisdom. All of Nature is the loom of God.

The Four-and-twentieth Mystery only functions by way of (the lovers) the Sixth Mystery.

When Hermes’ Glass is not spilled, (Omega) the sacred sperm is transformed into the Mercury of the wise.

The connection of lingam-yoni, without the ejaculation of the Ens Seminis, is fundamental for the preparation of the Mercury of the wise.

The prepared Mercury ascends through the spinal medullar canal (or Caduceus of Mercury), opening centers and revolutionizing the consciousness.

The surplus of Mercury crystallizes into a superior octave, in the form of the Astral Body.

The surplus of Mercury crystallizes into a second superior octave, in the form of the Mental Body.

Then, the surplus of Mercury crystallizes into a third superior octave, in the form of the Causal Body.

The initiate who possesses the Physical, Astral, Mental and Causal bodies receives for that reason the psychic principles, and is converted into a true Human Being. This is how (Binah) the Holy Spirit crystallizes within us. The crystallized Holy Spirit within the adept converts him into a gentleman, an illuminated gentleman (or gentlewoman).

When we pass through the Buddhist Annihilation, and when the ego is reduced to cosmic dust, then we Christify ourselves. The Lord (Chokmah) crystallizes within us.

When we have totally surrendered to the Father, the first Force (Kether) crystallizes within us.

This current humanity is very Lunar, very materialistic. In different parts of the world, however, there are a few people who are interested in this type of knowledge, a knowledge that will help those people transform themselves, in order that they may live in a new age. If you go on the internet, you find people that are talking about “the new age” or “the golden age”; in different ways, with different names people talk about this. But, no one has a clue how this new age, this golden age is going to happen.

Of course, all of us wish to be involved with this new Exodus which is approaching. This new selection of souls will live in another type of world that is not so problematic as the world in which we live at this time. That is why we are here, united, in order for us to practice, to receive help, to work and to realize what it is we want, because we do not want to descend with the tide of degeneration that is dragging the rest of humanity down. We recognize that we are degenerated. We do not pretend that we are holy, because we know that each of us have our different defects and vices. But we are aware that in order to belong to a golden age we have to transform ourselves. We cannot form a new golden age in our current state, psychologically speaking. Gold is gold and iron is iron.

Symbolically speaking, the Bible speaks about us living in the Kali Yuga or iron age, as iron mixed with clay. Let us read Daniel:

“Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.” - Daniel 2: 31-45

You see, iron and clay do not mix. However, this is the time in which we are; the iron age, but we are more clay than iron.

So, our physicality is formless and void, thus, we have to clean the iron in order to transform it into gold.  "Solve et Coagula" to dissolve and coagulate, this is an alchemical work that we have to do. As it is written:

“And Jehovah Elohim formed Adam of the dust (clay) of the ground (or earth formless and void), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and Adam became a living soul.” - Genesis 2: 7

“In the ancient mysteries among the illuminated Gnostic-Rosicrucians, a ceremony of initiation existed in which the blindfolded neophyte, when being submitted to certain ordeals, was guided to a certain place. The most interesting point during this ordeal was when the veil was removed from him and suddenly he was in an illuminated room. All the initiates were in the center of the room around a male goat. The Pentalpha was shining between the huge horns of this male goat. The neophyte was then commanded to go and kiss the devil’s behind, in other words the tail. When going around to the animal’s back, he would suddenly find a beautiful lady who would welcome him. She would hug him and kiss him on the forehead. He was then triumphant. However if he was opposed to this act then he would fail, and he would be taken out of the precinct without the neophyte ever knowing the secret. The lady who would kiss him represented Isis, the Divine Mother. She kissed him on the forehead, like saying unto him: The hour of working with the sacred serpent has arrived. One must steal the fire from the devil, from the male goat, by means of the transmutation of the vile metals into gold in order to convert ourselves into gods. This is the mystery of Alchemy. This male goat has to be eliminated. Each defect must be transformed, must be killed, in order for a virtue to be born. Behold here the reason for the phrase, “Solve et Coagula.” The gods emerge from the abyss and they become lost in the Absolute. The magician carries the power in the sexual organs because within these the Laboratorium Oratorium of the Third Logos (the Holy Spirit) resides.” - Samael Aun Weor

When we study the bible we see, as we said, the element water as a major component of what is written there. If you recall, in the Book of Genesis it says:

“In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was formless and void; and darkness was upon the face of the Abyss. And the Spirit of Elohim hovered upon the face of the waters.” - Genesis 1: 1, 2

So, the very first words of the Bible states that darkness was upon the face of the Abyss. And the Spirit of Elohim hovering upon the face of the waters.

“We are profound darkness. It is written, “The light emerges from the darkness.” The (Elohim) gods emerged from the abyss and then they lost themselves in the Absolute. Therefore, the abyss is indispensable in order for the (Elohim) gods to exist.” - Samael Aun Weor

Of course, we are inspired in talking about the waters of the abyss. The fact is, this retreat we are attending is located in this beautiful Chateau, in this country house surrounded by water. If we step outside this country house, we find the waters of the lake and even in the atmosphere, which is cloudy and rainy – so everything is wet! We feel like fish, surrounded by water. What also inspires us to talk about water is the amniotic fluid within which we develop as well as the fact that our physical body is approximately 75% water. We are more water than earth.

Now, we were explaining that the word Elohim (אלהים) is the third word written in the first verses of the Hebrew rendition of the Book of Genesis, Bereshet Bara Elohim בראשית ברא אלהים, which is translated as “In the beginning God created,” in many languages. However, this really is not well translated, because in Hebrew “God” is El אל. In the Hebrew Alphabet the letter A, Alpha is Aleph א; thus, reading from right to left, as is the custom in the Hebrew language, Aleph is the first letter in the word Elohim. Alpha, Aleph א is a letter that symbolizes air. So, just by looking at the first letter of the word Elohim (אלהים) we know that Elohim is associated with, or comes from the air. So then, it can be said that the Ruach Elohim רוח אלהים, the Spirit of God that hovers upon the waters, is Aleph א, the air, it is the wind, which is everywhere. We all share Aleph א; we breathe it, all our lives. At this very moment we are sharing the same air. Kabbalistically and alchemically it is said we share the same Elohim אלהים, we breathe the same God.

Elohim (אלהים) in Hebrew is spelled Aleph-Lamed-Hei-Iod-Mem and can be broken down in two ways, in order to understand how it relates to the concept of water. The word El אל, represented by the first and second letters, Aleph-Lamed, signifies the masculine form of God. If you separate the first two letters El אל from the rest of the word, it is no longer Elohim, but “El-Him,” אל-הים which is pronounced El-HaYam אל-הים and means “the God of the waters.” This is interesting because the waters (HaYam הים) are a vehicle of the light, of electricity. HaYam הים, the water, is not that water that flows in the rivers, HaYam הים is a superior water. The superior water is above, in the heavens, and it is called Shamayim (שמים). Mayim (מַיִם) in Hebrew means “waters.” Mayim מַיִם has two Mems, two Ms. In Hebrew, the word for heavens is Shamayim. The letter Shin (ש) is translated as the sound “Sha”; so, water up there is “Sha-mayim”, and water down here is just Mayim מַיִם.

If you look at the sky, you can see water there. When the clouds are very black, sooner or later that water will fall and thus become rain. This is a circuit in which the lower water goes up to the heavens and then falls. That element that the water needs in order to go up is the Shin (ש) of Shamayim; Shin ש is the letter that represents fire and transformation. So, when you say Shamayim (שמים) you are pointing to the fact that the water up there has fire. This is true because, if you look outside and you notice the sky is black, you can tell that a storm is coming. Likewise, at times you can observe lightning bolts, hear thunder and see how the sky lights up, like it is on fire. Down here, the water running in the rivers and lakes has fire energy as well. Electricity is produced from these waters. Go take a trip to Niagara Falls and see the strength of that water, which gives electricity to parts of Canada and the United States.

Our sun is both symbolic for and a source of fire; in Hebrew it is Shemesh (שמש). Here you have Shin, Mem and Shin again: two fires and one water. It is very interesting that the letter Mem מ, which symbolizes water, is indicated in each of the biblical words Elohim אלהים, Shamayim שמים and Shemesh שמש. These letters and words hide precisely what in Alchemy is said to be energy in matter, or in substance. So, when the sun shines strongly on the water, it evaporates and goes to the heavens. This is why the letter Shin ש is significant within the word Shemesh שמש (Sun), and Shamayim שמים (Heavenly water). Shin ש, is the heat that transforms the water and allows the water to rise up. Understanding how this relates with Alchemy is very important.

When you read the Bible, the first book is called Genesis. Within this book of Genesis, in metaphor and story, is the step by step instruction of what to do in order to take advantage of that fire or Shin ש, which is in the waters of the Heavens, Shamayim שמים. On the ground, this Alchemy is reflected in nature; for instance, in the planting of a tree. In order for it to grow, it needs the sunlight and it needs water too, the Mayim מַיִם.

This alchemical process happens in the individual when that fire and that water from the heavens (HaShamayim השמים) descend into Mitzrahim מצרים, Egypt, our physicality and become Moses.  So who is Moses (Mi-Moshe מי משה)? Observe: he is HaShamayim השמים backwards. This is important to know, because the Hebrew name Moshe משה contains the letter Shin ש, fire, the letter Mem of waters מים, and the Hei ה of "the heavens-HaShamayim השמים."  Likewise, the book of Exodus - which in Hebrew is Shemoth שמות, “names” and which contains the letter Shin ש, fire and the letter Mem of waters מים - is the story of the one who (Mi מי) will bring from the heavens-HaShamayim השמים, the books and commandments, with all of the symbols of the names, letters and words, to these (Eleh אלה) archetypical Israelites in Mitzrahim מצרים, Egypt; this is done precisely to instruct them in what to do to make this happen.

“Lift up your eyes on high, and see "who has created these (מי ברא אלה Mi Bera Eleh)," that brings out their host by number; he calls them all by name (שם Shem); by the greatness of his might, and for that he is strong in power, not one is lacking.”  = Isaiah 40: 26

In Genesis there is also another word that we want you to know, which is related to water. In the Bible you read many stories about Egypt. We recognize that the Israelites were in Egypt and they escaped from Egypt in order to go into the Promised Land; in order to pass from this place into the Promised Land, they had to divide the waters of the Red Sea. You see there again the waters. Egypt is a very interesting word. I do not know why Mitzrahim מצרים is translated as “Egypt”, as phonetically has no relation to the Hebrew word for Egypt, which is Mitzrahim מצרים. You do not find the actual word “Egypt” in the Hebrew language, however, in the actual language used by the Egyptians, you do find the word Egypt.

We learned that Khem is "Egypt" which is a Greek corruption of the phrase "Het-Ka-Ptah," or "House of the Spirit of Ptah.

“Ptah the son of Kneph in the Egyptian Pantheon is the principle of Light and Life through which the creation or rather evolution took place; the Egyptian Logos and creator, the Demiurgos. A very old deity, as, according to Herodotus he had a temple erected to him by Menes, the first king of Egypt. He is giver of life and the self born and the father of Apis, the sacred bull, conceived through a ray from the Sun. Ptah is thus the prototype of Osiris, a later Deity.

“Herodote said that he is the father of Kabiri, the mystery-gods and the Targum of Jerusalem tells: the Egyptians called the Wisdom of the First Intelligence the name of Ptah.” (The first intelligence is the sephirah Kether).

“Ptah is Maat, the divine wisdom, though from another aspect he is Svabhavat, the self created substance. As a prayer addressed to him in the ritual of the dead says: After calling Ptah “father of all fatherhood and of all gods, generator of all the human beings produced by his substance. “Thou art without father, being, engendered by thy own will; thou art without mother, being born by the renewal of thine own substance from whom proceeds substance.” - H. P. Blavatsky

So, what does the word Egypt have to do with the Hebrew word Mitzrahim מצרים? We see that there are two Mems in the word Mitzrahim, two waters; one in the beginning of the word, and the other at the end. In the middle of these two Mems that form the word Mitzrahim מצרים (Egypt) is the Hebrew word Tzar צר; we also find the letter Iod (י) and with that Iod we can again form the word Yetzir-יצר (to form) and Mayim-מַיִם (waters). Here again we find the waters!

Behold the Iod (י) of Mitzrahim מצרים. The Iod (י) is that spot, that dot which like light is a drop of water that descends from above (from Kether) to below (Malkuth). This is why Iod (י the tenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet) is in the middle of the heavenly waters-HaShamayim השמים, and Mitzrahim מצרים, that represents Malkuth, the tenth sephirah.

However, it is not only the letter Iod (י) that is significant in the word Mitzrahim מצרים; there is also a letter R, which in Hebrew is called Resh (ר). If you add the letter Resh after the letter Mem, you no longer read Mayim מַיִם (water), but you have the word Miriam מרים. Miriam מרים is a name in Hebrew, which in English is Mary. When you read about the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus, in Hebrew it is not Mary, it is Miriam מרים. Miriam מרים has two Mems, two waters. Interestingly, the letter Resh (ר) is the symbol for the head (Rosh ראש) in both Hebrew and in Alchemy. Just by seeing the letter Resh (ר) between the two Mems of Miriam מרים, we can see how marvelous, great and wise these שמות Shemoth (names) Exodus of משה Moses (השם HaShem) is. In שמות Shemoth (Exodus) Moses משה talks about Miriam, too, she is his sister. Moses has two siblings, Aaron and Miriam מרים.

“And Miriam מרים the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.” - Exodus 15: 20

There is one more letter in the word Mitzrahim מצרים, which we need to talk about. That letter is the Hebrew Tsade (צ), which means, “chaste, chastity or righteous.” When you place the letter Tsade (צ) after the first Mem of the word Miriam מרים, it becomes Mitzrahim מצרים.

When we read the Bible, we see that Abram אברם, who is Chesed, the father, our Innermost, the creator (in Briah ברא) of not only Judaism, but also the Islamic and Christian religions, has also the letter Mem-final (ם) at the end of his name. Abram אברם went out from the light (Aur אור) of the Sheddim שדים (demons), to go towards the land of Canaan.

“And Jehovah יהוה saith unto Abram אברם, `Go for thyself, from thy land, and from thy kindred, and from the house of thy father, unto the land which I shew thee......And there was a famine in the land (of Canaan): and Abram went down into (Mitzrahim מצרים) Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land (of Canaan).” - Genesis 12: 1, 10

Abram אברם left the city of Ur—Aur אור is translated in the Bible as Ur, and the word itself means “light” in Hebrew—and went down into Egypt. Abram אברם went into Khem, Egypt because Jehovah יהוה commanded him to “Go towards the land of Canaan.” So, he descended from the area of the city of the Sheddim שדים (demons) and went into Khem, Egypt. However, the Bible does not read “Go to Khem (Egypt)” it reads “Go unto the land which I shew thee (the spinal medulla)” which is Canaan, the narrow (Tzar צר) bridge between the two waters (Mayim מים) of Mitzrahim מצרים.

“The cerebrospinal fluid and the semen are the two (waters) poles of the sexual energy. The angel has the two poles upwards, towards his head. The common and current human beings and the demons (Sheddim שדים) have one pole upward and the other downward. They form the brain with one pole, and they fornicate (orgasm) with the other pole.” - Samael Aun Weor

"On observing this general depravation of manners and modes of living (of present human beings and demons), it is written:

"And Abram אברם went down to Egypt to sojourn there" (Genesis 12:10). Why did he go down to Egypt? Because Egypt looked like the garden of Jehovah, namely, the Garden of Eden. As it is written: "like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt..." (Genesis 13:10). where a river flows down on the right, as it is written: "The name of the first is Pishon; that is it which encompasses the whole land of Chavilah, where there is gold" (Genesis 2:11).

Just as the garden of Jehovah did not require irrigation, neither did Egypt ("Het-Ka-Ptah," or "House of the Spirit of Ptah), which was irrigated by the river Nile (representing the spinal medulla), a great mystical river of divine knowledge, very precious and unobtainable elsewhere. Abram (Chesed) having entered into the (central nervous system or) garden of Eden and become an adept in the secret doctrine, desirous of passing through all its grades on two the higher mysteries in order to become 'teloios' or perfect, went down into Egypt where there was gold, or the Hidden Wisdom." - Zohar

“The land of Chavilah (Egypt) is our own physical body, and the gold of this land is the solar atoms from our seminal system—that is to say, the semen’s potable gold.” - Samael Aun Weor

Thus, in order to go to Mitzrahim מצרים (Egypt "Het-Ka-Ptah," or "House of the Spirit of Ptah, the Kigndom-Malkuth of Ptah”) we have to be righteous, an initiate, a prophet; someone who like Abram אברם knows the mysteries of the Bible. You see, when we place the letter Tsade (צ) after the first Mem (מ) of the Hebrew word Miriam מרים, we make the word Mitzrahim מצרים, a righteous world. In other words, in order to go into Miriam מרים we have to be Tsadic (צ), righteous; that is to say, in order to go into Khem, Egypt, Mitzrahim מצרים; we have to know Alchemy (Alchimiah אלכימיה).

The word Alchemy can be broken down as follows: Al-Chem-Jah אל חים יה, that derives from, אל El, Khem חם, Chem or Chayim חיים and Jah יה, the masculine-feminine divine duality, which in Arabic is Allah. The word Allah is thought to be derived by contraction from Al-ilāh, which means "the god" and is related to El אל and Elah אלה, the Hebrew and Aramaic words for God and Goddess respectively. Alchemy is the chemistry of the life of the masculine-feminine divine duality of Jah, Hallelujah. Thus, if we do not know the chemistry of Jah, which of course is hidden, El אל, Abram, Chesed, our Innermost, cannot go into Khem, Egypt, we cannot not go into the mysteries of Alchemy, it is as simple as that.

If we ask literally, “Why is Jehovah יהוה sending Abram אברם (El אל, Chesed), then Isaac (Geburah), and then Jacob (Tiphereth) into danger, to be slaves in Egypt? It does not make any sense.” But it does, because it becomes necessary for El אל, Abram אברם, Chesed, our Innermost, the Monad to go down into Egypt, since Egypt represents our physicality; this in order to start performing the alchemical practices and exercises that we know. To do this, the Monad needs a physical body. This is what Egypt is: our physical body. Our particular individual Abram אברם descended from the heavenly regions, realms of the spirit, of the Monad, down into Egypt, because a Monad a Spirit needs to work to develop consciousness. As it happens, Egypt has a lot of what we need in the form of our physicality and psyche, and that is why Mitzrahim מצרים, Egypt, or "Het-Ka-Ptah," or "House of the Spirit of Ptah, is very interesting and significant.

Then, we might ask, “Why send Moses back to Mitzrahim מצרים (Malkuth), why not some other sephirah?” Well, if you Google a map of Egypt, and take a look, you will notice that the river Nile is a very prominent feature of Egypt. You can say that Egypt existed because of the Nile, which is directly below the Mediterranean Sea. If you notice, something else is very interesting here; the symbolism of this sea. Symbolically speaking, you could say that the Mediterranean Sea is like the water of the brain, because the brain floats in a fluid called cerebrospinal fluid. Not only does the brain float there, but the shape of the spinal medulla can be said to look like the Nile River. So, here we have the Mediterranean Sea, the brain and the cerebrospinal fluid; the Nile River, the spinal medulla; and then Egypt itself, which we said before represents our physical body. All of this relates to the central nervous system. The Mediterranean is the sea which is in the middle of the “terra,” our physicality. The Nile is the place where the whole of the work we do is performed. That is why Egypt hides a lot of wisdom, because of its initiation. In other words, in order to enter into initiation, we have to go to Egypt. It does not mean you have to physically go to Africa; no, you have to go to your spinal medulla, your river Nile, and to take advantage of that river and that Mediterranean Sea, which is your brain.

“All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.” - Ecclesiastes 1: 7

So, do you see why Egypt is called Mitzrahim מצרים? It is because of its relation to the fluids of our central nervous system, its relation to chastity, righteousness and and to Mayim מים, water. If we go down into the Nile you will find the very source of the river Nile, because above you find the delta which goes into the Mediterranean. This delta is symbolic of the cerebrospinal fluid going as fecundated mercury into the brain. Down there in our genitalia we find the very source of life, which is water or semen. Without these two waters, Egypt cannot exist. The whole civilization of Egypt "Het-Ka-Ptah," or "House of the Spirit of Ptah, the Kigndom-Malkuth of Ptah," in both Lower and Upper Egypt exists because of the river Nile. The same thing happens with an initiate. Any initiate is an initiate because their Lower and Upper Egypt has its own Nile and its own Mediterranean. And, if you dispute that the Mediterranean is the source of the river Nile, remember that, as we said, the forces descend from above to below; in the same way that the sun heats the Mediterranean sea, causing the water to evaporate and to form rain clouds, which then drop in the mountains, so too does our sexual force, our sexual waters descend from above to below. This is the symbol of Aquarius.

In Taoism, the brain itself is called the sea of marrow, as marrow is the substance that forms the foundation and proper functioning of the central nervous system. We have to take the energy from the River Nile, from the very source, which in this case will point to our sexual energy, up through the delta to the Mediterranean Sea. That is why Abraham went to Egypt, Jacob went to Egypt, and all those Israelites, who represents the spiritual archetypes, went down to our physicality, Egypt, because those that discovered Alchemy started then to work on themselves.

When we read the Bible, we find that God is selecting people in order for them to go to Egypt. Those selected people are those who are looking for initiation. When you read the Zohar, it explains very clearly that Abraham received initiation in Egypt. The story of Abraham took place in Egypt, along with the stories of the Israelites and of Moses. In other words, what we need is to enter into initiation. That is why we are here. We want to enter into the minor and major initiations. However, the Bible says very clearly that we cannot go into initiation if we do no go into Egypt, if we do not deal with our waters. This is why many people fail at developing spiritually, because they don’t take care of their waters.

The Bible talks a great deal about the waters. If you take care of your waters, obviously, you will enter into initiation, because “In the beginning the spirit of God was hovering upon the face of the waters.” In esotericism the central nervous system is called “the throne of God”; God sits there if you work with your waters. This is the goal of all initiates, for the Spirit to come and move the waters, because that spirit hovering upon the face of the waters is your own spirit, what in Kabbalah is Aleph. Do you see now why God is called the God of the waters, “El-Him,” in Hebrew? Beauty lies in this. If you separate the word “Elohim” (אלהים), between the Hey (ה) and the Iod (י), instead of before the Lamed (ל), then you no longer have the word representing “God of the water,” but “Goddess (Elah אלה) of the water (Yam ים).” El אל is “God” and Elah אלה is “Goddess,” thus Elah-Yam אלה-ים is “Sea Goddess.” So, who is the Sea Goddess? She is Miriam, Mary, the Virgin of the Sea.

There is worship of the Virgin of Carmel in Spain, who, when she was incarnated 2000 years ago, was the mother of Jesus of Nazareth. This great being gave physicality to the body of the great initiate Jesus of Nazareth. So, the one who is going to give physicality to Christ, which is an energy, is your own divine mother, and your divine mother is a water in your physicality. However, if you are prostituting your own “matter,” which is “mother” in Latin, how is the Lord going to be born in you? You have to make of your “matter” a virgin “matter”; that is a long process because we are diluted. Sexually speaking, everybody is degenerated, so think about that!

This is not a subject matter of worshiping someone else, it is about worshiping your own inner God and Goddess who manifests through your waters. By doing that, Christ descends, as “El-Him,” the God of the waters, as that Spirit that “in the beginning was hovering above the face of the waters.” That is also called the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the creative sexual energy in our body. Inside our body, this energy, this force, is represented in Christianity by a white dove, in mythology, by an eagle and in the beautiful opera, Parsifal as a swan. The symbolic representation of the Holy Spirit has not been reserved only to beautiful birds; in India the Holy Spirit is represented as a white elephant.

The various religious philosophies of the world have different symbols. For example, if you study Gnosticism you will discover that we need to be baptized by the Holy Spirit. You find that St John was baptizing in the River Jordan; the symbolism of the River Jordan is the same as the River Nile, as all biblical references to rivers symbolize the spinal medulla. That is why when Jesus was baptized in the Jordan river.

“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” - Matthew 3: 16, 17

Jesus “went up straightway out of the water.” What waters? The feminine waters; because they were below (the heavens). Then the father from the heavenly waters said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,” in other words, “I like him, he is in chastity, he came out of Egypt.” as it is written in Matthew 2: 13-15:

“Behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying:

“When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.” - Hosea 11: 1

So, remember, Joseph and Mary went to Egypt to escape from Herod. When the danger was over, Jesus came out of Egypt. Moses also came from out of Egypt, Abraham as well. All of them, because Egypt symbolically represents our own physicality. In other words, the holy work that we must do comes from our physical body.

There are two ways to perform the great alchemical work, the direct path (this is a superior work) and the spiral path (this is a good work). When you read the Bible, you find that the Israelites—or better said, the spiritual archetypes—were in Egypt for 430 years. That is a symbolic age. When you work on yourself, your own humanity, you have to work in your physicality, on your vital body, emotional body, mental body, causal body and your body of willpower. These five aspects of your physicality are initiations received in Egypt, that you need from Egypt. Egypt gives you everything. So, when Moses is in front of God and God says, “Go down and bring my people up,” it is because the people are ready; they are initiates. You know what people think? They think, Moses went to Sinai and God appeared to him there (which is symbolic of the superior dimensions), and that Moses came down in order to bring some people from the physical world out of literal Egypt. Then, the Exodus happened along with all these miracles on the physical plane… blah, blah, blah. Moses died, he did not go into the promised land, but another followed him...etc. You know the story of Exodus, right? That story happens only to those who do work in Egypt first.

When we talk about Egypt, we are speaking about Mitzrahim. Moses was a priest of Egypt. When symbolically he descends from above into Egypt by command, he is performing a higher work. He is going to liberate all the elements that are trapped in Egypt, that need to go out of the infra-consciousness, because he took the direct path. What is his direct path? It is precisely when the initiate reaches 430 years: the physical body is given the value of 100; the vital body, 200; the Astral body, 300; the mental body, 400; and the casual body, 500. The first 100 years can be attained as you go up and reach the 33rd vertebra of the spinal column. This is how the initiation goes. When the initiate reaches the 33rd vertebra of the physical body, he receives initiation internally and officially. It is said, “here we find an initiate of 100 years.” The number 33 is represented symbolically as 100. The initiate is now given the opportunity to enter into and attain the next level of initiation, which is the age of 200. Once you understand how this is esoterically written, you can easily read this in the Bible.

The symbolism of 33 degrees is also related with Masonry and the 33 years of Jesus. When it is stated that Jesus died at 33 years old, it does not mean that physically he was that age, but rather spiritually; internally he was at the top level of initiation, which means he was at the “Mount of the Skull.” When the energy rises to that level, you achieve 33 or in other words, 100, 200, 300, 400 or 500. Alchemically speaking, Moses went through this same initiation process, rising to higher and higher levels until he would come to be very close to reaching 500. At this point a guardian would appear to him and ask, “Which way have you decided to go now? Do you want to go into the Exodus or do you want to go through the spiral path to Nirvana?” If Moses decides to go through the path of the Exodus, he will attain 500 years. In other words, the selection is a very personal choice.

Right now, all of us present here are members of the first selection. We are receiving the doctrine but in order to reach the 50% that we need to reach, we have to work very hard – in Egypt, in or physicality, with our waters. After which, we must pass through other waters; the Red Sea and with the guidance of Joshua, the great follower of Moses, the Jordan River. So, when you read The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, you also find that he also writes of different types of waters, those in Heaven, Hell and Purgatory as well. Although it was hidden in symbolism and allegory, both the Bible and Dante are referring to the same waters.

We must talk more clearly now, because there is a need for humanity to know about all of this. For example, when the Bible states that the Israelites were slaves in Egypt, it is not talking about a specific race. It is referring to the archetypes that are trapped in our ego, in our subconscious, unconscious, infraconscious, here and now. The symbolic Egypt is where we do our work. First, we inter into initiation, then we decided to take all the archetypes out of Egypt. This process is the ultimate goal of Alchemy, called “The Great Work,” which takes tremendous effort and patience.

As we discussed before, within Elohim, the Hebrew word for God, we find the masculine phrase “God of the waters,” and the feminine, “Goddess of the waters.” The God and Goddess of the waters are located in the tenth Sephirah on the Tree of Life, called Malkuth, which is associated with the physical world. Kabbalistically speaking, this is also where Egypt—referenced in the Bible as the river Nile in the Mediterranean—is found, and is the symbolic representation of our individual physicality.

When we complete all five initiations, it happens that we then see our own particular God face to face. If we take the direct path, we are told: “Go down and bring the rest of your consciousness to me, because it belongs to me; it is a part of my people.” This is all a part of you. When you unite all that, a great master appears. All the work is done here on this physical plane. This. Alchemically, is what the Exodus represents: an internal work that is also physical. Some groups identify with the idea that, somehow, somebody is going to take them physically to certain places with their ego very fat and nothing spiritually developed within themselves. That is impossible. However, if we change, transform ourselves, then that will happen internally. This is why when we teach, we always insist: “Go into yourself, into your being, your internal self. There is where you will find the real work.”

Humanity always sees everything as being outside of oneself. Many religions, like Christianity, love the Lord, Jesus Christ, but look how the world is. To have belief is just the first step. To love the Bible because the word of God is written there is not enough. It is true, that it is the word of God, but you need to learn how to read it. You do not read the Bible like you read a newspaper. First of all, it is written in Hebrew and every word, every letter in Hebrew has a meaning. For example, if you recall, earlier we discussed the word Egypt, the Hebrew word for Egypt is Mizraim, the place of waters, reflected by the two Mems.

While I am giving this lecture here in this house surrounded by water, I cannot help looking out the window and see reflected back at me, exactly what we are talking about; Mitzrahim… just, a smaller version of it. If I wanted to write a book about Alchemy, I would write it in relation to this house. It would be filled with symbolism and hidden meanings. The average person reading my writing would think that I am talking about one thing and the work would actually be about something else. However, if you are an alchemist or a kabbalist, you would understand it all. Like Moses crossing the river. Do you think, for instance, by taking your skull and spinal column and placing it there, on the top of the river Nile in the Mediterranean, for that is where Egypt is, that this would accomplish the same thing? You would say, “Aha, what is meant is that I have to work here!” Remember, when you are working in the Nile, do not be in denial, because it is from the waters that everything comes.

Without the element of water, nothing can happen. Imagine this planet without water, no lakes, no seas. It would be a moon. It is the same with us. We have sexual energy, we have water, our masculine or feminine semen. Then we can do the work, because we have waters. That is why it says, the fire that rises in the spinal column is the Divine Mother united with her husband, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the water that floats from above, in between Him and Her, the God and the Goddess; they make Adam. That is why it is written, “Let us make Adam (Man) according to our own image, after our own likeness (Gen 1:26).” So, this Adam is something internal. He is consciousness, because God utilized the energy of the waters to make Adam reflect God in a way that could be everywhere in nature. It is not like people think, that God is physical and he made Adam, physically speaking, according to His own image. If this is taken literally, then we must arrive at the conclusion that God is ugly. Why? Because we are ugly. However, if we take this alchemically, then we see the beauty of it. If we understand His image and likeness is an energy, a spiritual force, then we are not attached to this physicality. We just take advantage of it, because a physical body takes energy from different angles. We have to take advantage of it in order to build Adam, just as Adam was made into the image and likeness of God.

Now, God said, “Let us make.” The word “us” indicates that there are at least two involved, not just one. “Let us make Adam according to our image after our own likeness.” “According to our image”, is God’s masculine aspect and “our likeness” is the female aspect. It is an androgenism, characteristics of the two polarities, which we all carry within. But everything comes from the female aspect first, which is obvious to see, as we all come from a female womb. The male only places the seed, then the woman does the work to grow the baby in the womb. The same thing happens in spiritual birth. The Divine Mother takes care of building Adam, but the one that put the seed there is the force above. That is Alchemy. This is the most important message we want you to take away from this lecture: do not look outside of yourself, it is inside. Everything is inside. What we do is just indicate to you, tell you the different steps that go into the Exodus.

Audience: What is the difference between Shemite and Shemesh?

Instructor: Shemite and Shemesh. There is only one letter more in the word Shemesh. The root of both words is “Shem,” which means “name.” The Hebrew letters Shin-Mem, Shem,means “name.” The word Exodus in Hebrew is Shemot, which also means “names.” The people named were in the alchemical process. The word Shemite is a plurality of the word Shem. As you know, Shem was one of the sons of Noah. A Shemite is also somebody that works with the name of God (Jehovah), which has the Hebrew letters, Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei. Alchemically speaking, Shemesh and Shemite are related because, in order to work with Shem and in order to be a Shemite, you have to work with the waters and with fire. Remember, we must be born by the fire and waters of the Holy Spirit. When Shem is placed in the center of the Tree of Life, it is the heart, and means that the work is done with the consciousness, with the soul and not with the ego.

In this day and age, when you are against Judaism you are called an Anti-Shemite (Semite). Some people think that the only Shemites are the Hebrews and the Israelites. This is true alchemically speaking, but literally, in this physical world a Shemite is somebody who is in Egypt doing this inner work. Someone who is against this type of Alchemy and spiritual work is an Anti-Shemite. This is the real meaning of the term, not what some people might think; that people in the Middle East are the only Shemites. Any initiate is a Shemite, whether they be Chinese, Korean, English or other, because it is by working alchemically, through the various levels of initiation with fire and water, that makes a person a Shemite.

Audience: Who was Rebecca and why do we need Rebecca to roll the stone away?

Instructor: Rebecca is the feminine force, because the masculine force comes from above. Jacob, himself, is a symbol of Tiphereth, the Human Soul, and he is going through an initiation. He goes down to find Rebecca, because he needs to activate the female waters. It is very obvious that the female waters are the sexual waters. The female waters are the waters that create, spiritually and alchemically, the human being in the womb of any women. So, Rebecca is a symbol of that. Jacob had four wives: Rebecca, her sister Leah, and two others. These wives symbolize the four waters. When you read Genesis, you find there are four rivers in Eden. These four rivers symbolize the sexual force, which is what we are talking about here. The male rivers are the rivers, Pishon and Gihon. The river Pishon, relates to the cerebrospinal fluid of the central nervous system and Gihon is symbolic of the sexual fluids. The gold of the land is the semen; it is the solar light. The other two rivers, Hiddekel and Euphrates are the female currents, they relate to the same two fluids, but in the feminine body. Jacob is working with the four waters of Eden in the sexual act; this is why he has four wives and is signified by Tiphereth in the center of the Tree if Life. All this is symbolism.

Do not be mistaken, like many people in certain parts of the United States who think that Jacob literally had four wives and thus take many wives, in order to imitate him. Some of them have four and sometimes even 5 wives. That is what is called polygamy. You cannot manage to control the waters of Eden if you are a polygamist, or with a woman who is a polyandrist, which is the contrary, a woman with many men. You must work with only two waters. These four rivers are the man and woman in the sexual act, represented as Tiphereth united with Malkuth. The Well of Jacob is the sexual force. Water is taken from the well in order to feed the sheep, and there are a lot of elements within us that we have to feed. Remember, “The lamb of God,” the sheep, in other words, is always symbolic of the soul. We have talked about this in many lectures, you can read about this on our website. If you go there you will find courses about this subject and others, as well.

Audience: So, Malkuth and Mitzrahim represents our physicality?

Instructor: Yes, Malkuth. Malkuth is a Hebrew word that means “the kingdom.” Of course, this kingdom is Egypt or Mitzrahim, our own body in other words. You have your own kingdom, your own physicality. Who controls your kingdom right now? Do not tell me it is the Pharaoh, because in order for the pharaoh to take over, you have to reach the higher levels of initiation. The Pharaoh is not in Egypt. You do have your own Egypt, but the Pharaoh is not there yet.

Audience: What is the difference between Pharaoh and the mantra “Fa-Ra-On”?

Instructor: Well, Pharaoh is an element that represents an initiate whose consciousness is mixed with his ego. Master Samael Aun Weor gives a mantra: “Fa-Ra-On”, which in Spanish is Pharaoh. You can vocalize this mantra in order to learn how to go into the Astral Plane, to go out of Egypt, and that helps. However, there are two types of pharaohs. One who completely goes through the whole alchemical work, and the other pharaoh that likes Egypt and does not go further into the Amenti.

Audience: You said, there were two ways… (inaudible) but you did not say much after that.

Instructor: Yes, because we are talking about what is written in the Bible by Moses and that relates, of course, to work with the waters in the second aspect. The ones that do not go into the Exodus are called the “Maruts”; they take the Spiral Path. What is a Marut? A Marut is an initiate that is content with just building their bodies, the vital, astral, mental, etc. They reach initiation and that is it. They deal with ego little by little; there are many of this type.

Again, we are focusing on this Direct Path; the work that the Master Samael Aun Weor gave in his books is exactly the same that Moses gave in the books that he wrote. This is because Moses was a worker of the Direct Path, and this is why Master Samael did not indicate detail about the other path. It came to me, and I said it because it was necessary to say. There seemed to be too much speculation about the Exodus, and its symbolic meaning of the inner work and something that is “outside” of this. For me, alchemically speaking, this an “inside” process that is very personal.

If you take what is written in the Bible literally, then you waste your time. Thinking that from one moment to the other you will be taken physically to a certain place… Well, it can happen too, but the truth is, if that happened you will get old and die. So, what’s the point, whether here or there you will die physically. But if you understand the Bible as a psychological, alchemical work, then it makes sense.

The earth, Malkuth, Egypt; they are all the same. Malkuth is also called the 4th world in Kabbalah, Assiah. Many translators mistakenly confuse Assiah with the continent of Asia. The point is this, everything above Assiah, Malkuth or Egypt is “extraterrestrial.” So, if you want to have a contact with an extraterrestrial being, learn how to go consciously into the Astral world. Then you will find a lot of extraterrestrials. Call them angels if you want, gods or masters; it is up to you. The truth is, they are above the earth because the sphere at the very bottom of the Tree of Life is us. Then you find the other aspects above that, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, which we talked about many times in different Lectures.

Audience: What can you say to those who are here for the first time and not familiar with the Tree of Life or Kabbalah? Can you suggest where they can go to continue studying? Where should they start, because I am not sure if everyone is familiar with this?

Instructor: Is there anyone here not familiar with this? One? Most of you have visited the website, right? Yes, that’s the point, and, of course, more detailed explanations of the different terms that we teach here, specifically the Tree of Life, can be found in the online courses. If you study, you will little by little understand it.

Audience: Is the consciousness mixed with ego Pharaoh in the world of Klipoth?

Instructor: The world of Klipoth. There are many courses there about this subject, there on the website. Actually, there are 40 courses and believe me, what you have to do is just have patience and study.

Audience: Why does someone need to study Kabbalah?

Instructor: Kabbalah is an esoteric teaching that is understood to be the language and science, the road map to understanding the superior worlds. If Gnostic or Biblical study is not done kabbalistically, then it is not possible to understand the true meaning of what is being studied. This is what happened with humanity and the Bible. How many languages is the Bible translated in? All of them, right? However, most do not know what is written there. It is sad. They have it, but they do not.

Audience: Inaudible…You bring up a good point. The Bible has been translated in many languages…(inaudible). I grew up with the English Bible…(inaudible). Which version would you recommend?

Instructor: King James, but only reading it as it is a translation. This is where you find the internet is helpful. Many websites have Hebrew translations of the words, but many of these translations give only some of the meanings. Like we were explaining here, a simple word like Elohim, is translated as “God,” and this is 100% wrong! Because Elohim is plural, it does not mean God. If you want the right translation, it is God and Goddess. That is why some people who read the Bible do not understand that there is only one God. In which way is there only one God? As there is only one horse, God is Gods; with an “s,” it is plural. We say in exoteric terms: “The multiple perfect unity.” That is God.

That is why Master Jesus says “You have to love your God,” the emphasis on your God, “with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your strength; and the neighbor as yourself.” So, that means that in the neighbor there is something else too. First, you and then the neighbor. When you understand that the God within you, but also within your neighbor, then you do not kill you brother. You love your brother, because you know that the same energy circulating in your system is in my system, and it is individual in each one of us, the same energy.

Audience: Inaudible… See something in someone that we do not like…(inaudible).

Instructor: Exactly. Are we breathing the same air that is the same force of God? The ideology that we have of God in our minds, however, is different. Some people, for instance, say that Muslims believe in Allah and not in God. If you study Arabic, you understand that “Allah” simply means God in Arabic. So, it is like saying that Muslims do not believe in God, but in God. These people think that Allah is something else, but it is the same God, just said in another language. When you say “God” in Spanish, you say “Dios.” It would be a mistake to fall into the belief that Dios is one thing and God is another. No, you just know it is the same, just a different language. Allah is God. God is Allah.

Audience: Tao too.

Instructor: Right

Audience: Elohim is translated as God, what about Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei? What is the difference between Elohim and Jehovah?

Instructor: There is no difference. When you study the four letters of the sacred name of God, which is translated as Jehovah, you find that Jehovah Elohim is the name given to the Holy Spirit. If you want to know about that, you can go into the website, because to go into the sacred Tetragrammaton, the four-letter name of God, is very deep. We already explained the word Elohim. Again, Jehovah is Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, the four-letter name of God, which also relates to different levels of energy forces.

Audience: Is Jehovah Elohim the creator in us?

Instructor: In simple terms, we will say Jehovah Elohim is the Holy Spirit, as it explains the way this force called the Holy Spirit relates to nature, the universe and to yourself in different dimensions. To understand this, you need to study the online courses, beginning from the very bottom, which are the more introductory classes, with patience. Then, you will learn about your own God and all the forces.

Right now, we are giving basic information, but when you enter into initiation you will learn about your own God, all of the energetic forces, and get a more detailed explanation about Egypt. You will see that when you study the Egyptian Civilization, you find a lot of beautiful symbolism there. When you do not know the meaning of that symbolism, you fall into a drastic interpretation of it. It has been said that the Egyptians were holding the Israelites as slaves and it was these slaves that built the pyramids. Some people think that the pyramids in Egypt were built by the descendants of the Hebrews that now inhabit Israel. That is wrong! It is all symbolism. There are still people that think the pyramids are special monuments for a pharaoh. The Pharaoh says, “Please build me a pyramid and when I die, put me in its center; that will be my tomb.” What an ego! That pharaoh needs to have a pyramid in order to be remembered by the people? Of course, this is all symbolism.

In earlier times, they do not talk too much about this, but according to history it is said the Egypt was part of Atlantis. The Atlantean civilization was characterized by water, the same as Egypt. This relationship to water is why all the books written in different types of languages always associate water with “the Knowledge.” Interestingly, Atlantis itself is an Aztec word. The first three letters, Atl, means water in the Aztec language. From these letters comes the name of the Atlantic Ocean. There is a great initiate in Mexico called Tlaloc, who is the God of water and rain. The statues that they have in Mexico depicting their beliefs are very rustic. They did not have the same artistic abilities as, say, the Greeks. However, they were able to chisel their gods and symbols in a manner that was both imposing and descriptive. You can find very ancient stones in the Mayan Pantheon, reflecting the symbolic beliefs of the people and the times. I was talking with a friend about the book Master Samael wrote called, “The Kabbalah of the Mayan Mysteries,” which has been translated into English, but not published. You can find it on the website. This book, which the Master talks about beautifully, is pure Kabbalah. In order to understand this work, though, you must have understanding of Kabbalah, or else you will find yourself saying, “what am I reading here?” This is why we always stress the importance of studying Kabbalah. Then the rest of the readings that you encounter will be easier for you, because most of the books that the Master wrote, were written in Kabbalah, in Alchemy and translated for you.

Audience: Inaudible …The Mayan Mysteries… We do not have the technology today to build them…(inaudible).

Instructor: Do you mean a pyramid? They might, but I do not think so. You seem just to move one of these stones… Just relating to the pyramid of Egypt, for example, those stones are gigantic. Currently, there is not the technology in place to move the stone, let alone make a pyramid of the size we see there.

Audience: Inaudible…Then how did we get that information that the pyramids were built by the Jews?

Instructor: This is what you learned in school. Somebody said it, invented it. What happens is, people never inquire. When I was in school and learnt how the pyramids were built, I was told they stones were pulled by animals, atop of trunks that were rotating. And they said, just to move one stone took massive energy; it takes hundreds of stones to make a pyramid. How do you move all of them? There is this poor man pulling ropes, in order to make that stone move. It is ridiculous! It is impossible! You need technology for that, and the Atlanteans had the technology to build these pyramids. They had technology more advanced than what we have in this day and age. Of course, they left a lot of knowledge there, written in symbols for all of us. Who is capable of understanding those symbols? Master Samael Aun Weor was capable, he gave these translations to us; we give it to you. This is what we do.

This lecture was really inspired by the waters running all around us.

Instructor: I hear many theories about the way that they did it. They say we can do it in this day and age, but no one has done it.

Audience: Was there magic involved in this…(inaudible)?

Instructor: Physically and internally, it is still there, that is why. Have any of you here been to the Second Chamber of this school, related to public lectures and retreats? You see, in the Second Chamber, just to give you an example, everything that we do relates to Egypt. If you ever reach Second Chamber, you will know what I am talking about. People ask, “Why Egypt?” It is because Egypt is where, as you see, all the information that we are giving here comes from. It is how you reach the initiatic level.

All of us are in Egypt; with our own waters. If you wonder and would like to understand more about this, then transmute your waters, because all the wisdom of Egypt, what you find physically in Egypt, is within you. It is on a static level, however. Activate your waters and you will understand more. What do you think I am talking about when I talk of this? You may think I was born with a Bible in my face. When I was a kid, I was playing. It is when I started working that this developed; because I worked with my waters. The same thing that happened to me can happen to you. It is up to you. Work with your waters, you will see how little by little you understand more and more. Those same waters bring electricity. the light, which is in you. All of you. It is simple and it is called Alchemy. I can say more. Ask questions.

Audience: Inaudible… Breaking down the letters of Malkuth.

Instructor: Breaking down the letters of Malkuth (מלכות). Well, looking at the Hebrew letters from right to left, the “Mem” is water. The second letter, Lamed is a tower symbol, as you see, it towers over all the other letters. So, it symbolizes, over the top of the head. The third letter is Kaph, also references the head, and symbolizes a crown. The forth letter is Vav, which refers to the spinal column. The final letter, Tav, at the end of Malkuth, is the cross.

You know, the two polarities, man and woman; that is the meaning of Malkuth, the Kingdom; because you must have a king with a queen. You cannot have a kingdom without a king and queen. That is what is represented by the cross in Malkuth. In other words, if you want to work with Malkuth, you must be married. It is the two polarities coming together that make Malkuth the Kingdom, the King and Queen. You are the King of your own kingdom. Do you have a queen? No? Then your kingdom is divided. Make it strong, get a queen. Then start playing chess.

The Kingdom of Malkuth (מלכות) is also death to you. If you place the letters Lamed and Kaph (לכ) at the end , then you have Muth lak (מות לך), which means death to you. Really, we are in the Kingdom of death and sooner or later, we die. No one is immortal in this physical world. Even though all of us live life like we are immortals, like we will live forever, right? No one wants to hear about death, but we all die. Ask a doctor, he will tell you. Even Jesus Christ died, but he resurrected.

Audience: What is the meaning or resurrection?

Instructor: To resurrect is to utilize all the energies of Malkuth, to use all the forces of Mitzrahim מצרים Egypt in your body, soul and spirit. Jesus as a Master showed his mastery by means of the Jinn Science:

“And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear.

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.” - Matthew 14: 22-33

Lay People think, yes, a miracle! No, he was walking on the waters in order to teach Alchemy.

To walk on the waters means to utilize all the fluidic energies of Malkuth, to use all the forces of Mitzrahim מצרים Egypt in your body, soul and spirit. Jesus as a Master showed his mastery by means of the Jinn Science, saying, “look, look, I am walking on the waters of Jinn-azareth or Genezareth.”

Peter said, “Master, make me walk on the waters as you are walking.” Jesus told him to walk. Here, Peter’s request of Jesus is symbolic. When Peter started walking on the waters he also started doubting and began to sink; he had no faith. Faith must be built. Do you see? If you read the Gospel, you will find most of the miracles that Jesus made were close to the waters of the Sea of Galilee. Why? Because water is the vehicle of the solar energy. There is always something hidden in the teachings.

What is the first thing that you have to do in order to get into these mysteries? Transmute your waters into wine. Remember, your waters are creative; to transform those waters into wine means to transform into Spirit. This is Alchemy; Jesus taught that in the wedding at Canaan. People think Jesus was making wine so everyone can drink, get drunk and have a good time at the wedding, without understanding its symbolism, and it is a beautiful symbol. Controlling the waters in the marriage, then transforming it into Soma, the wine of the spirit.
