letters-ref-tethTeth ט is the ninth letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. Teth ט hides the mystery of the Tree of Knowledge. Hosea 4:6 states:

My people (which are the 22 Archetypes, 22 letters of the word of God) have been silent because of the lack of (Gnosis) knowledge: Seeing thou hast rejected (Daath-Gnosis) knowledge, I will also reject thee, as a priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the (twenty-two letters of Torah, which are the twenty-two Arcana of Tarot, the 22 Archetypes of the) law of thy Elohim, I will also forget (your 22 Archetypes) thy children. - Hosea 4:6

As we proceed, we notice that the meaning of this chapter of Hosea refers to the archetypes that each one of us has within. So it is not related as people think, with the people of Israel, physically speaking. As we explained in many lectures, Israel represents all the archetypes within us.

ט Teth is an elemental letter that symbolizes the serpent, which has the ability of putting into activity all archetypes within us. If we forget this, it is as if we think that we can put the archetypes into activity without Gnosis, knowledge, Daath; then, we go in the wrong direction.

As you see in the graphic, Teth is represented by the serpent, and in the ancient Hebrew alphabet, Teth was represented by a circle, the Ouroboros, with a cross in the middle, which is an X. Observe Abraham, Sarah, and Agar in the centre of that Ouroboros, with a crossing X, which we are going to explain in detail so that we may understand this mystery of Teth.

As you see in the Tree of Life, the letter ט Teth is related with the ninth sphere. Often we talk about the ninth sphere, which is Yesod (sex). In Yesod we find Teth, the serpent. The Hebrew word Yesod means foundation, so based on this you can understand and comprehend that through Teth everything emerges.

The word יסוד Yesod in Hebrew is written Iod, Samech, Vav, and Daleth. If from the word Yesod you remove the letter ס Samech (which is drawn as a circle) the remaining letters spell the word יוד Iod. Iod is the tenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which will be addressed in the next lecture. Therefore, if you observe the spelling of Yesod, you will find that the only difference between the spelling of Iod and Yesod is the letter Samech - which is also the serpent - that we place within the word Iod.

So, in the Hebrew alphabet, we find two serpents:

  1. the number nine, which is the letter ט Teth
  2. the number fifteen, which is ס Samech, the Ouroboros, which in ancient Hebrew is represented in the old symbol of the letter Teth.

Old-Hebrew-tethTherefore, the Ouroboros having within its womb the cross, the X, is a very profound and significant symbol, when we study the mystery of the ancient symbol of Teth.

The Ouroboros symbolizes the Ain Soph Aur. Above the Tree of Life, you find the three aspects of the Absolute: the Ain, the Ain Soph, and the Ain Soph Aur.

Ain Soph Aur means “the limitless light.” The Ain Soph Aur is a perfect eternal, ungenerated light that contains an invisible hidden fire and an invisible manifested fire. The hidden fire is concealed within the manifested fire. The action of both fires is what the Bible calls Bereishit, of which we have spoken of many times.

Bereishit is the first word in the Bible, in the book of Genesis. Elohim is the visible fire, which creates Heaven and Earth, Sun and Moon, air and water. Elohim emanates from the invisible fire, which is within the ungenerated light, the Ain Soph Aur. The visible fire, Elohim, created the six days of Genesis, by means of the invisible fire, within which the entire power of Bereishit is contained.

This unlimited, invisible, and visible fire is Christ, whose manifested power is explained in the seventh day of Genesis. In the lecture related with the letter Zayin we explained this igneous power of Christ, which I repeat, is the invisible and visible fire. This seventh unmanifested creative fire emanates from the Ain Soph Aur, which by means of the creative manifested fire in the human being propels the Spirit of the Elohim that hovers upon the face of our creative sexual waters of Yesod.

In the book of Genesis you read that in the beginning the Spirit of God was hovering upon the face of the waters. The Spirit of God is called in Hebrew Ruach Elohim. So, the invisible and visible fire propels the Spirit, which is hovering in our sexual creative waters.

Through the initiations of fire, our seventh creative power, Christ, in Malkuth, the physical body, develops the six days of Genesis within the psyche of the human being. These six days of Genesis become the six active Sephiroth, namely: Yesod, Hod, Netzach, Tiphereth, Geburah, Chesed.

“When did this key (fire) unlock the gates (of Yesod), and serve and produce offspring? When Abraham appeared, as he is the secret of Chesed. As it is written: "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created" (B'hibar'am, an anagram of Be'abraham) (Genesis 2:4). And we have already learned, do not say b'hibar'am but Be'abraham (These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth through Abraham - Chesed).” - Zohar

Naturally, in us Chesed is represented by Abraham, or that Spirit of the Elohim that is working in Malkuth, making all of this creation that is described in the book of Genesis; specifically in the first and second chapters of the book of Genesis.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. - Galatians 3: 16

Thus, Christ, as the seventh creative fiery power, is contained in (thy seed) both sexes, so when we talk about Yesod, we then imagine the letter Samech, which is the Ouroboros spinning, from the Ain Soph Aur. That Ouroboros creates what we call the letter Iod, which is a flame, in which the Sephirah Kether is symbolized. That is why when we talk about the holy name of God, we begin with Iod. Iod, Hei, Vav, Hei. When the letter Iod is downwardly prolonged in the central column of the Tree of Life, it ends in Yesod, and it becomes the letter Vav. This is why in Kabbalah the letter Vav is always symbolized in Tiphereth and Yesod. This Vav is the letter Iod extended from the Father (Kether) to Yesod. This is why it is stated that Vav is the Son.

In the letters Iod and Vav we have the Latin vowels I-O:

IO: Isolda, the Luni-Solar Androgyne. Osiris-Isis has sparkled with terrible divinity since the profound creation of all ages. I, with its deep significance, is certainly the phallus (the lingam), the Hebrew IOD. O is the eternal feminine, the uterus (the yoni), the famous Hebrew HEI (in Yesod).

IO - The integral transmutation of the libido is performed when we intone this last syllable of the magical word during the sexual trance. – Samael Aun Weor, The Three Mountains

kabbalah-tethWe already explained that the physical body is represented in the letter Daleth as “the poor man.” So, with Daleth we finish the spelling of the letter Iod (Iod, Vav, Daleth). This is why in Malkuth (physical body) the letter Iod appears as the number ten. Thus, we (IO = masculine-feminine) are in “D” Daleth (Malkuth-physical body). Thus, within “IOD” - our sexual force - is the Samech, the Ouroboros, the serpent, the light of the Ain Soph Aur. In other words, the serpent, the letter Samech, is within the word Y-E-S-O-D, which means “foundation,” which is the ninth sphere. In the middle of the spelling of Yesod and Chesed, the Samech, the serpent, the Ouroboros, appears, which is that fiery creative power within the universe.

Samael Aun Weor stated:

The descent into the ninth sphere was, in the ancient mysteries, the highest trial to prove the supreme dignity of the hierophant. Hermes, Buddha, Dante, Zoroaster, etc. had to descend to the ninth sphere in order to work with the fire and water, the origin of worlds, beasts, humans, and Gods. Every authentic and legitimate white initiation begins there.

Thus, at the very bottom of matter and energy, we find the Ouroboros, since it is the foundation of the “Iod,” because the Iod is the first manifestation of the unknowable. That Iod is what the Bible calls Elohim, which is translated by the translators of the book of Genesis as God, singular. But Elohim is not a singular but a plural word. It means Gods and Goddesses.

Now lets us explain about the word Bereishit, which is translated as Genesis, or “In the beginning.” The word Bereishit is an anagram; about this anagram you can give many lectures, since it is related with many things, above and below. For instance, in Aramaic, bar means son, which is written with the letters Beth and Resh. Bar, son, relates to the letter Beth, which is related with Chokmah, the second Sephirah, which is called the Son. In the Zohar it is stated that Chokmah is the one that creates, so Chokmah is bar, the Son.

The next letter in Beresheet is Aleph, and thereafter the letter Shin. The letters Aleph and Shin together spells the word “esh,” fire in Hebrew. So you see how “bar,” the Son, is “esh,” fire, or as we were explaining, how from the Ouroboros emanates the visible and invisible fire, which is Christ, bar-ash, Son of fire, in other words, Bereishit, “in the beginning.” This is what Bereishit means.

In Aramaic, bar also means pure. Barash, first, or in first place. So, in other words, we can say that Bereishit Bara Elohim means “The pure Son of the fire,” the first begotten of the light of the Absolute, the Ain Soph Aur, which is the esh (fire) after bar (the Son) of Bereishit, created the Elohim. This is one way to Kabbalistically explain “Beresheet Bara Elohim.” The common translation is “In the beginning God created,” since the word Beresheet is translated as “In the beginning,” but according to the anagram and the explanation we are giving here, we will say it is translated as “the Son, the fire from the Ain Soph Aur in the first place created.” Bara is the second word in the book of Genesis; Bara means “created.” The next word is Elohim. “Beresheet Bara Elohim” is telling us that the fire of the Son, that invisible and visible fire that emanated from the Ain Soph Aur, created the Elohim in the beginning.

Many people think that God (Elohim) has no beginning or end; nonetheless, God, Elohim, has a beginning and an end, in every Mahamanvantara. Notwithstanding, the invisible power, the fire from the Ain Soph Aur, has no beginning or end. This is why at the top of the Tree of Life you do not find any circle or sphere related with the three aspects of the Absolute, because it is endlessness. But, that which comes after the Ain Soph Aur, has a beginning. “In the beginning…” that invisible fire created Elohim, the heavens, and the earth. In other words, “Ha-Schamayim,” the heavens, which are written after Elohim, are preceded by the Hebrew word “at” formed by two Hebrew letters, Aleph and Tav, which are the first and the last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. “At” implies all 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet, the written symbols of the Word of God. The Word of God is that Logos that emanates, it is that Fire that emanates from the unknowable, the Ain Soph Aur. The Logos is symbolized in the book of Genesis with the word “at,” which is translated as “the.” So, in other words, the Elohim manipulated AT, the Word, in order to create heavens and earth. Notwithstanding, within Elohim is the invisible and visible fire, thus these fires control all the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, all the words of God (Elohim) in order to create the heaven and the earth, that is, “Beresheet Bara Elohim At Ha-Schamayim Ve-At Ha-Aretz.”

The Word, “at,” created the heavens. The Word “at” created the earth. However, we have to comprehend and understand that Elohim is the intelligence behind “at,” thanks to the invisible fire, since Elohim is the visible fire, and within him is hidden the invisible that emanates from the Ain Soph Aur. This fire is represented by Samech in the ninth sphere. Nine is the symbol of the nine months that the creature endures within the womb of the mother.

When we talk about “and the earth,” Ve-At Ha-Aretz, we explained that the fire from the Ain Soph Aur descends from above through Vav (“and”), into our sexuality, Yesod, in Malkuth (physical body). Thus, through Vav we can create. In order to comprehend the elaboration, the creation of the Tree of Life in us, we have to see it’s graphic.

kabbalah-the-tree-of-lifeIn the human body, the Tree of Life is Vav, the spinal medulla. Vav is also represented in Tiphereth. Vav is the extension of Iod, the light of the Sephirah Kether, where the lights of Chokmah and Binah, the two columns, right and left, as the lungs are joined forming the letter Aleph; this we explained in the first lecture. The heart, represented by the letter Vav, Tiphereth, which in the body is located in the central column, unifies Chokmah and Binah. Thus, from the lungs the light extends to the arms, which are the lights of Chesed and Geburah, which also relate to the two columns, right and left, and with the spinal column, Vav, Tiphereth, in the central column, that unites them in the heart. You can see them in the second triangle.

Netzach, and Hod, at the very bottom of the two columns, join with the light of Chesed and Geburah in the two kidneys. Netzach and Hod are the legs that extend from the kidneys. We are talking Kabbalistically.

Do you want to find the forces of Hod and Netzach in yourself? These always relate with the legs; yet, these are light forces that come from your kidneys. However, if you remember in other lectures when we talked about the four creatures of Ezekiel, we have stated that Chesed and Geburah relate to the lungs, and to the kidneys. Thus, Netzach and Hod through the two kidneys join their light in Yesod, the root of the Tree of Life. So, from Netzach and Hod, from the kidneys, the light of both goes into Yesod. Do you see how the light of the Tree of Life goes into your body?

In Taoism, it is known how the sexual power relates with the power of the kidneys, Hod and Netzach. Thus, Netzach and Hod, through the two kidneys, gather the light, and all oils of the body in Yesod. From there, Netzach and Hod, flows all the light in anointing oils, to Yesod (foundation.) This is why Netzach and Hod as Archetypes are called Sabaoth and relate to the world of formation (third triangle). Sabaoth means hosts or the Lord’s armies. Jehovah Sabaoth and Elohim Sabaoth are Netzach and Hod, respectively. Sabaoth means that all the forces coming from above, from the Elohim, from Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, are gathered together in the kidneys and from there they go into Yesod, where we find the serpent, Teth.

Vav and Zayin, Adam and Eve

Let us now talk about the Tree of Knowledge. Remember that we have stated in many lectures that the Tree of Life, which is Vav, gathers all the forces of the Sephiroth; this is why it is called the Tree of Life. We have already explained how all the forces of the Sephiroth go into Yesod. The Tree of Knowledge is also in the middle. This is how it is written in the book of Genesis:

And out of the ground (Adamah, the physical body) made Jehovah Elohim (Jehovah Sabaoth and Elohim Sabaoth, the kidneys) to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. - Genesis 2:9

In the human body the Tree of Knowledge relates to the two Iods that form the top of the letters Zayin and Vav. These two letters Zayin and Vav were explained in previous lectures. Zayin and Vav also appear here in the shape of the letter Teth, the serpent. So, if you observe the graphic of the letter Teth, you will find that the letter is Zayin is on the left, and forms the head of the serpent. The right letter, which is the tail, is the letter Vav. So, we find Zayin and Vav united, but not above as in the letter Chet, but in the very bottom; thus in the foundation, in Yesod, is where they are united. This implies a sexual union, because Zayin is the woman, and Vav is the man. They are united at the foundation or base; this implies the sexual act. This is why you find in the shape of Teth that the letter Vav which forms the little tail of the letter is inclining towards Zayin, the woman, the head. In other words, this leads to that chapter, or verse that states:

She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he (inclining to the woman) did eat. – Genesis 3: 6

Chavah, Eve, offers the fruit to Adam, thus Adam, the Vav, inclines to the woman in order to take the fruit from the woman, Zayin. This implies the action of the serpent, because the serpentine fire is directly related with the sexual act. Without the serpent, without that fire that comes from above, the man will not have an erection and the woman would not have humidity in order to perform the sexual act. The serpent gives sexual arousal; so without the serpent, any action in Yesod is impossible.

Through the serpent we handle the two forces: the Tree of Life, and the Tree of Knowledge, because Yesod is the root of both trees. The Zohar calls those roots “the intestines,” and they are indeed the roots. When you read “intestines,” it means roots, because the life of any tree is in its intestines, in its roots. As we physically find it here, the life of our body is taken from its roots, the intestines. All the food we eat goes into the intestines, and from there the body takes the nutrients, and the leftover is expelled.

Vav and Zayin are alchemically named Od and Obd. Obd means “helper.” Od means witness. Usually we call them “the two witnesses,” but the left one, Zayin, the woman, is called Obd, helper, assistant. As you see in the graphic of the letter Teth, the assistant is giving the force to the letter Vav, but the sixth letter Vav has to receive it, has to incline, always to the woman, to the seventh day, the seventh letter.

Od and Obd emerge from Iod-Hei of Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, meaning from Abba and Aima in Daath, which emerge from Binah, of the first triangle of the Tree of Life.

In our physical body Binah is related to the pineal gland. Our head is represented by the letter Aleph; this is why the first triangle is in the head. From Binah, which is in the pineal gland of our physical body, emerge Abba and Aima. Through the breath, through the nostrils (Zayin is related to the nostrils) enters the air (Aleph) and sets in between the two columns, Chokmah and Binah, which is Daath, the throat, where (from Binah) Abba and Aima are set.

Abba and Aima are emanations of the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit as Father, Abba, the Holy Spirit as Mother, Aima in Daath, emerging from Binah, which contains Kether and Chokmah, because they are the Holy Tri-unity.

Obd-Aur-Od

Between the two columns Chokmah and Binah is the Zayin, which as Obd extends through the interior of the body into Geburah. As you see in the graphic, the letter Zayin extends as the blue serpent into the Sephirah Geburah. Within the interior of the body it goes into Netzach and from it into Yesod.

Remember that it is stated that Ida (Zayin) and Pingala (Vav) are entwined in the letter Teth. This is why in The Zohar you read that Geburah relates to Netzach. We are talking here about the Tree of Knowledge; so, do not mistake it with the Tree of Life, which is different. Thus, Netzach, in the body, relates to the liver. Obd, Ida, that is, the helper, connects Netzach, the liver, to Geburah and Binah through Tiphereth.

Od, the witness, the red serpent, from Chokmah through the interior of the body extends to Gedulah / Chesed, and goes into Hod, which is the spleen, and from the spleen, goes into Yesod. So can you see there the differences between the two?

First we were explaining about the Tree of Life, now the Tree of Knowledge. The Tree of Knowledge is related with the two cords, Ida and Pingala, that are entwined around the spinal column. That is why the book of Genesis states that both trees are “in the midst of the garden,” in other words, in the central pillar, because both relate to the spinal column. But the Tree of Knowledge is always more associated with Zayin than with Vav. The Tree of Life is always more associated with Vav than with Zayin. This is why when we are talking about the Tree of Life we are talking about Vav, the inner man, and Zayin, his wife, whom he named Eve. Let us quote the book of Genesis:

And Adam (Vav) called (Zayin) his wife's name Eve (Chavah); because she was the mother of all living (Chai). – Genesis 3: 20

Eve is represented in the letter Zayin. The wife of Adam is Chavah, the mother of life. This is why when you talk about the Tree of Knowledge (Zayin), you cannot miss the Tree of Life (Vav). And when you talk about the Tree of Life (Vav), you cannot miss the Tree of Knowledge (Zayin), because (in Chet and Teth) both are interrelated.

Therefore, studying only Kabbalah (the Tree of Life) without sexual alchemy (the Tree of Knowledge) is a waste of time, as studying sexual alchemy (the Tree of Knowledge) without the Kabbalah (the Tree of Life) is a waste of time. Both trees have to be studied together, otherwise we fall into mistakes. The science of Teth is profound, because the serpent in Yesod receives the forces of the two trees.

So, it is stated that Adam ate of the fruit of Chavah in Yesod, because Chavah the Tree of Knowledge (sex) was offering its fruits to Adam, who, as the Tree of Life, has its roots in Yesod (sex). Remember that Jehovah-Elohim said to Adam (the Tree of Life) in Genesis 2: 17: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” because you are the Tree of Life, so do not eat from it, for in the day that thou eatest thereof you will become the Tree of Death.

Thus, Chavah, the Tree of Knowledge is represented in the letter Zayin, which is Eve, the mother of life, because Chavah comes from the Hebrew Chai, which is life. Adam, the brain, takes all the strength for the Tree of Life from the feminine aspect of the serpent in Yesod named Chavah.

adam-and-eve

Remember, the sexual organs, Eve, Chavah, Yesod is always feminine, and Adam, the brain is masculine; Adam and Eve are symbols. You have to know how to associate them, in order to comprehend and understand this topic.

Chavah, Eve, Yesod, is associated with the creative power of the serpent. This is why you find that the serpent offers the fruit (creative power) to Eve (in English), Chavah (in Hebrew). Thereafter, Chavah offers the fruit (creative power) to the Tree of Life, the spinal column (central nervous system).

Adam, which is the brain, has to control sex (through the central nervous system), because if in the sexual act Adam, the brain, does not control sex, does not control Chavah, if Chavah controls the brain, then in the end, the serpent will give them the orgasm, the spasm of the animals.

The Expulsion from Eden

In the book of Genesis is written something very important in the third chapter of Genesis after the eating of the fruit. Yet, first let us remember how Jehovah-Elohim warned Adam, the spinal medulla, the Tree of Life: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it,” in other words: “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it as an animal, as a beast, because if you eat of it as a beast, you will surely die.” In other words, “for in the day that thou eatest thereof” all the forces of the Sephiroth will turn into Klipoth, the Tree of Death. But Adam has to do it anyhow, because the sexual act is a necessity of the body. The serpent is always there, giving you the sexual strength.

So, as it is written, Adam the brain became the slave of the sexual force, because he reached the spasm, or orgasm, of the animals. The physical body together with the vital body are the Garden of Eden. Yesod and Malkuth together are the Garden of Eden, where the spiritual man is placed. Now, who expels who? says The Zohar. Did God expel Adam and Eve from the garden, or did Adam and Eve expel God from the garden? Indeed, according to the knowledge we are giving, the explanation is obvious: Adam and Eve expelled God from their garden (their physicality).

So, we rejected God. God is not a person, an individual, God is the Ouroboros, the invisible and visible fire, Christ, which descends from above into Yesod, and sends the serpent into Yesod in order to do the work. Elohim cannot create without the serpent; Teth, the serpent, is the fire that controls the two fires. What happened when the serpent gave the fruit to both sexes? What happened is that the fire was expelled: Elohim was expelled out. This is how it is written: by means of the orgasm, “at,” the letters Aleph and Tav, all the Shechinah, the forces of the Divine Mother, were ejected out of the body. Thus, when that happened, instead of having Elohim within, Adam and Eve became naked, without the Shechinah, without the light.

Instead, they put Cherubim at the door of Eden. So the one that put the Cherubim at the very door of Eden, disallowing Adam and Eve to enter into the Tree of Life, was not God, it was the man and the woman who did it, because they ejected the Ouroboros. Notwithstanding, when we read the book of Genesis, we assume that Elohim put the Cherubim in order to keep the couple from the Garden of Eden, yet, this is wrong, because the couple did it. In the world of formation, Cherubim is the Kabbalistic name in Yesod. Cherubim means the strong ones, or the strength.

And (in Daath) Jah-Chavah Elohim (as Abba and Aima) said, Behold, Adam (through Eve) has become as one like us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his (fornicator) hand (Iod), and take also (the fire) of the Tree of Life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore Jah-Chavah Elohim (as Abba and Aima) sent him forth from the (upper) garden of Eden (in Daath), to till the ground (Adamah – physical body) from whence (through the sexual orgasm) he (as a seven headed klipothic beast) was taken.

Sevenheadedbeast

So he (the terrestrial man) drove out the (heavenly) Adam (Kadmon); and he (the fornicator man) placed at the east of the (lower) garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword (the passional fire of the blood in Yesod) which turned every way, to keep the way of (Shechinah, the fire of) the Tree of Life. – Genesis 3: 22-24

During the sexual act, our seminal substance descends into its corresponding cavity... When our seminal substance is spilled, we then lose millions of Christic solar atoms. Instantaneously, these solar atoms are substituted by millions of demonic atoms, which enter into the Brahmanic cord by means of the contractions of the genital orgasmic movements. Thus, if we strengthen the three vital airs of pure Akasha by means of our willpower, then the mixing of Akasha with these demonic atoms, which were collected from (Klipoth) the infernos of the human being, result in the awakening of (the Kundabuffer) the luciferic serpent. Hence, orgasm is the negative and demonic way... - Igneous Rose by Samael Aun Weor

Every time that the man and the woman go into the sexual act, the Cherubim with the sword (the passional fire of Lucifer) is there. Remember that the sword is Zayin. That Zayin which turned every way is in the blood. That passional fire, the sexual fire, is in the blood. Yes, in the sexual act, Zayin turns every way, preventing the wicked soul to enter the way of Shechinah. Nevertheless, if you steal the fire from the devil , from the serpent of passion (the seven headed beast), Zayin, then you enter again into life.

Zayin is in the hand of the Cherubim, the serpent, the Ouroboros which is also there. The Ouroboros says “Eska to Bebeloi,” withdraw you impure ones, get thee hence impure ones. Of course, that Cherubim is Lucifer, the sexual fire itself. If you reach the orgasm, you are self-ejected, then the Cherubim is there with the sword, the Zayin, the passional fire. That Zayin is the woman within you. Remember that when we talk about the woman, we are talking about the feminine aspect of the fire within you.

No impurity can enter into the Tree of Life. This is why we state that humanity ejected God from Eden, and this is why we die, because we drove God out, because God is precisely the fire of life.

So, according to initiation (when we talk about the number nine, we talk about initiation) nine is symbolized in the Tarot by the hermit holding a lamp and walking in the wilderness. How do we enter again into Yesod, the Garden of Eden, in order to enjoy the Trees? We do it through initiation, there is no other way. Initiation means to begin, to be pure again. Christ is the one that puts us into the door of initiation, because Christ is the fire. Christ is not a person; Christ is the invisible and visible fire.

So, when we feel, in the very sexual act, the blood (which is the symbol and vehicle of the fire in the physical body) acting, that is the heat, that is precisely “Hata” in the Hebrew language, which is written with Chet, Teth, and Aleph. Hata means sin. As we see here, the letter Aleph (the breath) is at the very end of the word, after the Teth (the serpent), Chet is the Tree of Life. So, Teth, which in Yesod symbolizes the very bottom of the Tree of Knowledge, is before Aleph (the breath), which is ejected by the man.

Aleph is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Aleph is Christ manifested; it is the living fire within sex. Sin (Hata) means to eject Aleph, the fiery breath, the Akasha that comes from above, goes down and settles in Yesod. Chet, Teth, and Aleph that is “Hata” is also called fornication, the way in which the animals multiply.

Unto the angel (the Cherub who holds Zayin, the flaming sword) of the church of Ephesus (Hephestus, the God of fire) write; These things saith he (the seventh fiery power) that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks (seven lower Sephiroth); I know thy (white tantric) works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil (from Klipoth): and (in Yesod) thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars (fornicators): And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left (better said, thou hast ejected) thy first love (God). Remember therefore (Yesod-Sex) from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works (of chastity); or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick (spinal medulla) out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds (of black tantra) of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

He that hath an (enlightened letter Vav, the) ear (develops hearing, thus), let him hear what the (Holy) Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh (the orgasm of the beasts) will I give to eat of (the fire of Shechinah) the tree of life, which is (within Eve, Chavah, the sexual organ, the mother of the living) in the midst of the paradise of God. – Revelation 2: 1-7

Initiation, the Return to Eden

Now, in Kabbalah, as you remember, we study the three souls, or the three levels of Mercury. Let us explain now, initiation, because this number nine, the letter Teth, has the ability to put us in Eden. Why? Because of the serpent we went out of Eden, and because of the serpent we can get back into Eden again.

We do not have to be afraid of the serpent, since it is just the sexual fire in the blood. So, in the very sexual act, when the woman and the man are united, the serpent circulates in their blood, and goes directly into the phallus and the uterus; which is what in Kabbalah is called Nephesh, the animal soul. Nephesh lives in the blood, this is how it is written in the Bible. Nephesh is the blood.

The ordinary individual, the animal, irrational or rational animal, ejects the sperm, reaches the orgasm, the spasm of the beasts, since they do not know that within Nephesh (the fire of the blood) is the other soul, which is called the Ruach. Let us remember that the book of Genesis 1:2: states,

And the Spirit (Ruach) of the Elohim was hovering upon the face of the (sexual) waters...

That Ruach Elohim is Abraham, Chesed, the Father of the Height. Thus, if you ejaculate the fire, that is, if you reach the orgasm and ejaculate Nephesh out, Abraham goes out, the Spirit of the Elohim, within which is placed all our cosmic inheritance; and what happens? Abraham engenders Ishmael (a wild man), his first son within Hagar, Mizrahim, Egypt. The Bible states:

Behold, thou (Hagar, Mizrahim, Egypt) art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because Iod-Havah hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a (Peres) wild man. – Genesis 16: 11, 12

And Abraham said unto Elohim, O that Ishmael might live before thee! – Genesis 17: 18

God does not want his covenant with Ishmael, because he is a wild beast, (a Peres), meaning a wild donkey, a fornicator in other words.

But my covenant will I establish with Isaac. - Genesis 17: 21

Isaac is the son of Abraham also, but Isaac comes from the transmutation of the Ruach Elohim, when the individual does not ejaculate Nephesh, the sperm and the ovum, when does not reach the orgasm. Here emerges what we call the soul of the mercury, the Ruach Elohim, that raises through Ida and Pingala, through the spinal column.

Nephesh is called the brute mercury; it is that fire that is contained in the sperm and the ovum, in the semen, whether feminine or masculine. That is Nephesh, the animal soul. The beasts ejaculate the brute mercury, and they multiply like “hata.” This is how Ishmael, the first son of Abraham came into existence. Ishmael was the son of Hagar the Egyptian, or Malkuth, the one that multiplies like we multiply. All of this population of the Earth are children of Abraham, but through Ishmael, yet God is waiting for us, because all of us offspring of Ishmael have Nephesh, yet hovering upon it is Ruach; so we have to learn how to liberate Abraham, the Ruach Elohim, from our Nephesh, in order for Isaac, which is the brazen serpent, called Neshamah, the divine soul, to be born.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. - John 3: 14, 15

The soul of the mercury, the Ruach Elohim (Abraham), rises through Sarah, the two cords “Sah and Ra,” called in Sanskrit Ida and Pingala, encircling the spinal column, in the single person, and in the married person. When that Ruach Elohim rises, it gives initiations; this is symbolically written in the Bible. Abraham which is the Ruach Elohim, or the soul of the mercury, rising through Ida and Pingala receives the nine minor initiations. Nevertheless, if we want to receive the major mysteries, then Adam and Eve, man and woman, are to be united in the sexual act, and perform the same transmutation that they do in a single manner. In other words, when single people transmute their sexual force, they do it through breathing, through their nostrils, they perform breathing exercises, in order to rise the soul of the mercury, this is related with Zayin.

The brute mercury is the semen, the sperm and the ovum, which has to be transformed into soul of the mercury, which is the Ruach Elohim, Abraham, who receives the minor initiations. But a moment comes when Abraham has to reach the major initiations; here is when Abraham performs the sexual act as Maithuna with Sarah, his wife. Sarah represents the superior forces of Daath, not Malkuth (Hagar), but Daath, which is Schamayim, heaven.

When man and woman mix their own particular individual Abraham, their own particular individual Ruach Elohim, their own particular individual soul of the mercury, then the serpent, which is the fire, fecundates that soul of the mercury, thus the mercury fecundated by the fire emerges in the spinal column. That mercury fecundated by the fire is the soul of the mercury fecundated by the fire, which is Isaac, who rises through the spinal medulla of the individual. Isaac is precisely that serpent that goes up, which the Bible calls Seraphim. In Christianity, the Seraphim are placed in Kether, but in the Hebrew Kabbalah, the Seraphim are the creatures of Geburah, they are called fiery serpents.

This is how through Isaac you enter again into Eden, and God is pleased, because that is what God wants. God does not want a covenant with all of these fornicators from Malkuth. God wants his covenant with the son of the fire, Isaac, that your inner Abraham will have with Sarah.

Any Master is a son of Abraham, as Isaac through Sarah, but any fornicator is a son of Abraham as Ishmael through Hagar, which is all of us.

This is how we study in the ninth sphere, Yesod, the transformation of the animal soul into the thinking soul, and this into the divine soul. As you see, this is an alchemical transformation that we do in the sexual act, because Isaac and Ishmael are the children of the two polarities. This is what you have to understand and comprehend when you read the book of Genesis.

The First Initiation of Major Mysteries

Let us now explain the next verses of the book of Genesis, related with the beginning of the first day, which are after Elohim created the Heaven and the Earth:

And the earth was without form, and void. – Genesis 1: 2

What is the earth? The earth is Malkuth, our physical body. The word AND is the letter Vav, which means AND in Hebrew; so AND means that the letter Vav, the medulla in that human being was in darkness, empty, and without form. But, thereafter it is written:

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. - Genesis 1: 2

That is, when the Vav of Malkuth (physical body) enters into the mysteries of Yesod, the letter Vav AND appears again; And the Spirit of God, the Ruach Elohim, Abraham, Chesed, was hovering upon the face of the waters of Yesod. So, this means that there is a probability there to create something if you transmute your creative waters.

In the first verses when it is stated “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the abyss,” the abyss is Klipoth, our own subconsciousness, unconsciousness, and infraconsciousness.

The next verses - after the waters of Yesod - relate to Hod, here again you see AND, the letter Vav, in Hod, which means “glory.”

And Elohim (Sabaoth) said, Let there be light (aur): and (in Vav, the spinal column) there was light. – Genesis 1: 3

This is how you make light out of darkness.

Thereafter, follows Netzach, which is the next Sephirah:

And God saw the light, that it was good. – Genesis 1: 4

Why did God see the light that it was good? Because Netzach is at the right side of the Tree of Life, which is Tob (good). The left side is in Hebrew called Ra, pollution.

At the very bottom of the right column of the Tree of Life, God saw that the light was good because it was the outcome of the transmutation.

And (in the letter Vav) God divided the light (of Tiphereth) from the darkness (in Malkuth, the earth). – Genesis 1: 4

Remember, Tiphereth is symbolized by the Sun. So this verse symbolizes the light reaching Tiphereth.

Finally, the light reaches Geburah. You see, the energies are rising from Malkuth to Geburah, so when they reaches the level of Geburah, God names the light Day, and the Night he calls Lilith [לילית‎],

And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. – Genesis 1: 5

This is why in Kabbalah it is stated that the first wife of Adam was לילית‎ Lilith, referring to the darkness here in the physical body. In Hebrew, Layla, Lilith, is night. So, the day, which means the Master of the Day, the Master of the AEon, is called Elohim Gibor, Gebur-ah, and it is because in Gibor, in Geburah, you find Isaac. If we say “And God called the day, Isaac” is it the same, yet God called the light, “IOM,” day, which is Isaac.

When the serpentine light (Isaac-Geburah) that emerges from the darkness of Malkuth is united to Chesed, Abraham, then he absorbs the light of the first initiation. This is the first day, the first initiation of Genesis, which is called:

And the evening and the morning were the first day. – Genesis 1:5

Who is the evening? The evening is Zayin, the woman-serpent that is connected to the left side, Binah. The morning is Vav, in other words, Chesed, because the male serpent emerges from the fires of Chokmah. So, the union of the evening and the morning, woman and man (Rah and Tob), through the sexual act is the very end of the initiation, making the first day: the first initiation of Major Mysteries. Thus, this is how Isaac is born from Sarah and Abraham.

In the beginning, the problem is Lilith. When you reach the first initiation of Major Mysteries, Lilith, your ego, is there with you. Remember that the darkness was in the very beginning, it is stated:

And the earth was without form, and void; And the darkness (that he called Lilith) was upon the face of the abyss.

That darkness is Lilith. Anyone who comes to Gnosis, who is not an initiate, is in Lilith, darkness. But, we can take the light from that darkness, if we know how, right? So, let us not be afraid of darkness, because now all of us are children of Lilith. Yes, all of humanity are children of the darkness.

It is Kabbalistically stated that this humanity is entangled in two spheres: Lilith and Nahemah. Lilith is related with the black moon, and Nahemah with the white moon. Both moons relate to Yesod. Notwithstanding, Lilith relates to another submerged sphere, a Klipothic sphere, the abysmal eighth sphere of Hell, which corresponds to the negative aspect of the sephirah Hod. The Moon rules Yesod and Hod (the ninth and eighth spheres respectively), which are found inverted in Klipoth as Nahemah in Yesod, and Lilith in Hod. Thus Lilith is a the eighth sphere, inverted. Thus, we have to steal the light from them, because both Nahemah and Lilith are related with Nephesh, with the animal soul.

Now, we have something that we have to explain about the Master Jesus, when he talks about the serpent. This is written in the Gospel of John, as follows. First, let us understand that the word Pharisee comes from the word Parsi, from Persia. The Zoroastrians from Persia worship the fire. So as we know, the fire is the beginning of everything, the seventh power, invisible or visible. The Parsi’s, the Pharisees, worship the fire. This is an allusion to any religion that worships God, whether Jews, Muslims, Christians, Zoroastrians, Buddhists etc.

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews (Meaning somebody that, at that time, had status, in the hierarchy amongst the Jews, since Jesus preached within the religion of Judaism, among the Jews): The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi (meaning Master), we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God (Elohim) be with him (so this Rabbi, this Master, recognized that Master Jesus was a Master of the Day).

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of (Elohim) God.

Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? - John 3: 1-15

So as you see, Master Jesus is telling him, in a direct teaching, about the need to be born again through the mysteries of Yesod, through the mysteries of Daath. Yet this Rabbi, like many other rulers of his time, did not know about the mystery of the serpent, therefore he asked how can an old man be born again?

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. - John 3

Did you grasp that?

...except a man be born of water and of the Spirit...

This reminds us about initiation, about “In the beginning….” the book of Genesis:

And the Spirit of the Elohim was hovering upon the face of the waters... - Genesis 1:2

This is what Jesus is referring to.

So, “except a man be born of water and of the Spirit” has nothing to do with beliefs, but something that is done through sexual alchemy. Jesus said, otherwise “he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

That which is born of the flesh is flesh. - John 3:1-15

The flesh, as we have explained in this lecture, is Nephesh. The blood circulates in the flesh, and when a man and a woman go into the sexual act, they engender children, because of the fire of the passion of the flesh. So: that which is born of flesh is flesh.

And that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. - John 3:1-15

Spirit in Hebrew is Ruach, which also means wind. And, the only Spirit that can create, or that can place you into the initiation (the beginning) is the Ruach Elohim, the Spirit of God that hovers upon the waters of sexuality. So, either you are born of the flesh or of the Spirit. The later implies transmutation of the flesh, because the Spirit of God is hidden, concealed, within the sperm and the ovum, so we have to liberate it. You liberate it when you transmute the sexual energy, and then the Ruach Elohim is liberated, and rises through your spinal column.

So, one is not born by believing. You can believe in whatever you like, but belief will not liberate the Ruach Elohim, because behind the Ruach is Elohim, God, the fire that propels the Spirit in order to create. The Ruach Elohim hovering upon the waters of the beginning is Christ, which is not a person, but the visible and invisible fire that comes from the Ouroboros, the Ain Soph Aur; the limitless light.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. - John 3:1-15

Why must we be born again? It is because here we are already born, we have been physically born through the flesh, but now we have to be born again - not by believing, but by the Spirit (the Ruach), by sexual alchemy.

The wind (the Ruach Elohim) bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit (the Ruach). - John 3: 1-15

In other words, you can hear the sound of the wind, that is, the voice that utters in the wilderness, “Follow the way of the Lord,” a sound uttered by that man that is born inside, and who teaches the wisdom, but you cannot know from where that inner man comes, and to where that inner man goes, because he is born of the Spirit, he is inside of us, if we transmute, if we are born by the Ruach. About the physical body that everybody has, anybody can inquire into where such a body was born, how old it is, and when it is going to die, according to Karma, it is easy, it is no a big deal. But, to inquire into where this inner man was born, and where this inner man goes, nobody knows, because that inner man was born from the Ruach, from sexual transmutation. That inner man is a Master of the Day.

Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? (as you see, He is a Master, he is a Rabbi, and he doesn’t know).

Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? - John 3:1-15

Supposedly, everyone that knows Kabbalah and studies the two trees would know what we are talking about. Regardless, there are many people who study Kabbalah and they do not know about sexual alchemy. Moreover, in many ways they justify their fornication.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know (to know regards to Daath, the Tree of Knowledge), and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. - John 3: 1-15

The witnesses are Vav and Zayin (Ida and Pingala). These are the only witnesses of the birth of the inner man. I, internally, am a witness - according to my Ida and Pingala, Od and Obd - of the birth of my inner man, but you are not, because that is internal.

I am saying what Master Jesus said, and teach that you have to be born in the same way, yet “ye received not our witness.” So, we testify what we have seen with the eyes of the Spirit, and what we have heard, and what we have practiced.

If I have told you earthly things (sexual magic, transmutation of the libido), and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? - John 3: 1-15

Let us clarify: the Greek word Pistis is not belief, but faith. So “and ye believe not” must be “and ye have not faith.” The Greek word Pistis is not related with belief, but with faith. In this day and age, they translate Pistis as “belief,” but the real translation of Pistis from the Greek is “faith.” Faith is experience, conscious knowledge. Faith knows by experience. Faith is related with Peter. Peter is that apostle related with the pineal gland, where the atom of the Holy Spirit abides.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without (the Ruach) the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. – James 2: 19-26

So if we have not faith in sexual alchemy, that is, if we do not practice it, how shall we have faith if I tell you of heavenly things? If we start talking about initiations, and many other things related with heavenly things, which means with Schamayim, Daath, if you do not have faith (experience) first, in sexual magic, how will you enter into Eden? How will you have faith in the things of the Spirit? But, if you are a practitioner and you are transmuting, you will then have faith within you, and any Master that tells you of things related with Neshamah, with the Divine Soul, with Schamayim, with Heaven, then you will understand. But first, we have to stop fornication.

And no man hath ascended up to heaven (Schamayim), but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man (son of Adam) which is in heaven. - John 3: 1-15

When you read the former paragraph, it is very easy to understand it when you know Kabbalah. “And no man” means “and no intellectual fornicator man on this Earth” has ascended up to heaven; this is what Jesus is stating. “But, he that came down from heaven.” Who came down from heaven? According to Genesis, Abel was killed by Cain and descended into the Earth, killed, because of fornication.

And Cain (the mind) talked with Abel (the human soul) his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field (of Yesod), that Cain (lustful mind) rose up against Abel his brother (in the pineal gland), and (by means of fornication) slew him. And Iod-Havah (the Holy Spirit who dwells in the pineal gland) said unto Cain (the lustful mind), Where is Abel thy brother? And he said (washing his hands), I know not: Am I (the concrete mind) my brother's keeper (the abstract mind)?

And he said, What (filthy things) hast thou done? The voice (of the Ruach Elohim) of thy brother's blood (Nephesh) crieth unto me from the ground (Adamah, physicality). And now art thou (with lust) cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth (womb) to receive thy brother's blood (fire of Nephesh, ejaculated) from thy hand (Iod, Phallus). – Genesis 4: 8-11

Abel is the Son of Adam, the Son of Man. Adam is Tiphereth. Tiphereth is Adam in heaven. The son of that Adam is the Buddhata, the embryo of the Soul, which is bottled up within the ego, which is Cain. Abel is the part of the consciousness that has to be liberated. Abel is the only part that can go up to heaven. The ego, the animality that we have, cannot go up to heaven, only Abel, which is the son of Adam, the son of Man, because Adam, Tiphereth is already there in heaven, Schamayim. So, let me tell you how to do it.

And as Moses lifted up (Teth) the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth (has faith) in him (the serpentine fire) should not perish, but have eternal life. - John 3:1-15

Teth (the serpent) and the Son of Man is mentioned again. Abel, which is bottled up within the ego, has to be lifted up through initiations, in the same way as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness. That whosoever has faith, Pistis, in Him, in that fire, that serpent, shall not perish, but have eternal life.

So, it is not as people think, “Since I believe in Jesus, my Godly fire is rising, and I am being born again.” Understand: a belief is just a beginning. For instance, if we go among the Masons, some Masons receive the 33rd degree, which is the highest degree in Masonry, but this does not mean that all of them have that degree spiritually. Symbolically, they have it, yet such degree relates to the 33rd vertebra, symbol also of the 33 years that Master Jesus lived as a Master. Thus, in order to be a Master, you have to have 33 symbolic years. Understand, these are not physical but symbolic years. So, the Masons have 33 degrees of Mastery, but, symbolically. If they work with the stone, the cubic stone of Yesod, and raise the serpent, Teth, to the top, to Kether, then they will be Masters, because the first Initiation of the Major Mysteries is the birth of the Master.

In the first initiation, in heaven, the Masters say, “Behold, a new Master.” A Master in Heaven, but not in the earth yet. In order for that Master that was born in the first initiation of the Major Mysteries to express his wisdom on the Earth, he has to receive five initiations. He has to lift five serpents. In other words, he has to lift five serpents of fire. Indeed, this is the mystery that Jesus taught to Nicodemus, this is why Jesus said:

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. – Matthew 10: 16

The dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit; it means chastity. You have to be wise, to use your serpentine fiery energies, to use the sexual energy wisely, and to be in chastity. This is what “be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves” means.

Now, there is another verse from a chapter of Isaiah which we translate as follows:

All you (lustful) Philistines, don't rejoice that the rod (טבש - Shebat) of the one who struck you is broken, for out of (Teth) the serpent's root (Yesod) shall come forth a viper, and its fruit a fiery (Seraph) flying serpent (Seraphim). -Isaiah 14: 29

Sorry, if I disappoint you, but all of us are lustful Philistines. Remember the Philistines were the ones who tried to kill Samson. The Philistines are the egos of any one of us. The egos of Samson managed to defeat Samson, so do not be proud for the fact that you are transmuting your sexual energy and becoming strong like Samson, because the Philistines are always behind you, within your subconsciousness. Remember that they always send Lilith, Delilah, in the night, to cut the hair of Samson. That hair is the Zayin, the Vav, that gives the strength to the Master. To cut the hair means to fornicate; it is to do the same thing that Adam did with Eve. So: woe unto that Samson of Kabbalah, if he fornicates with Delilah, with the night, and he forgets his Inner Mother and his Inner Father. The Philistines will take the eyes out of his sockets, he will become blind, and thereafter he will grind in prison within the rotating wheel of Samsara, until his hair grows again, until he returns to chastity again, and go into the middle of Zayin and Vav, the two columns, and destroy the temple with Him. Can you understand all the symbols here? All of them are sexual, hidden, within Lilith and Samson.

And, what is Samson? Shemshon, Shemesh the Sun. Shemesh is how you say Sun in Hebrew. Aun is strength, virility, and is pronounced “On.” Shemesh-On is “the strength of the sun in the sexual organs.” Shemesh-On the strength of the Sun, the strength of the Light, of the Fire. Yet, Lilith, Delilah, the night, cut his hair easily. And thereafter, no strength, no eyes of spirituality, in order to see the truth, the hidden truth of God, because fornication is forbidden in this world or in the world to come. This is why Isaiah said, “All you (lustful) Philistines, don't rejoice that the rod (Shebat) of the one who struck you is broken.” So, do not rejoice, because there are many fallen Bodhisattvas that unfortunately ate of the forbidden fruit, many Samsons that are grinding in the midst of the wheel of Samsara. Of course, the Philistines, the egos, are rejoicing because they now enjoy fornication and adultery, but Isaiah said, “All you (lustful) Philistines, don't rejoice that the rod (Shebat) of the one who struck you is broken,” and he adds after that, “For out of (Teth) the serpent's root (Yesod) shall come forth a viper, and its fruit a fiery (Seraph) flying serpent (Seraphim).”

When you read this verse from Isaiah 14:29, you might wonder about the meaning of “For out of the serpent's root shall come forth a viper, and its fruit a fiery flying Seraphim.” Kabbalistically, this refers to a creature of Geburah, a son of Samael, in other words. Samael is associated with the Ouroboros and the cross.

The spelling of the word Teth is Teth, Iod, Tav. The spelling has the two Hebrew T’s, since in Hebrew, there are two ways of writing the letter T. Teth is one T, and Tav is another T. Nevertheless, the old Teth is a circle which encircles a cross, and the cross is the symbol of the old Tav. So, you see there in the symbol, the old symbol of the letter Teth, the serpent, the Ouroboros, which is Teth itself, and the letter Tav, which is the cross; in other words, the old symbols of the letter Teth, spells the letter Teth, because in the very middle of such symbol is the Iod, the power of the fire that comes from the Ouroboros, from the Ain Soph Aur. Besides, the cross is the symbol of the sexual act between Vav and Zayin, man and woman, united with the power of the serpent, which is Teth.

Now, if we spell Teth with two Teth’s, instead of one Teth and one Tav, that will spell TET, which means clay, mud, in Hebrew, which brings into memory that the man was created out of the mud, out of the clay of the Earth. So, the serpent can make of you a man, a terrestrial man from the mud of the Earth, or can make of you a heavenly man, but the latter has to be made with the letter Tav, because when you spell Teth with the letter Tav, which is a cross, in old Hebrew. This is why when you read about the letter Tav in old Hebrew, you always find that they talk about the cross, because this is how the old Tav, the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet, was written as a cross; that was the letter Tav in ancient times.

The cross of Saint Andrew in the middle of the Ouroboros is the symbol of the fire of Yesod in Malkuth, man and woman, Yin and Yan sexually united by means of the power of the fiery serpent. Moreover, the cross of Saint Andrew encircled by the serpent symbolizes the man of the Earth, the human being of the Earth who enters into the path of initiation; the initiate that has to crucify himself on the cross by means of the serpent. This is why the most powerful symbol of Christ, Krestos, is the man crucified on the cross. That man is represented by the letter Daleth, remember that. The man, Daleth, is the physical person here in this physical world. It is Malkuth, crucified on the cross of Yesod, with the serpent around; that is the crucifix, that is the most powerful symbol of initiation; this is why the fire, Christ, INRI, was crucified, on the cross.

Of course, the cross was used by the Romans as an instrument of torture for criminals, but understand, we are talking here about the symbol of the cross, which we study not only because of that event that happened to Jesus 2,000 years ago. If you inquire into any religion, you will see that Jesus was not the only one crucified on the cross; there were many other Masters who were crucified. We do not need to go so far to see it. Remember Master Peter and Andrew his brother who were also crucified, Peter was crucified upside down. Peter is another Aeon, which symbolizes faith in the pineal gland, developed by the stone, Cephas, which is Yesod. So in Jesus, Peter and Andrew  you find that the man crucified on the cross is a symbol of Teth.

AndrewAlchemicalCross

The cross is also a symbol of Samael, as we have explained in many lectures. The archangel Samael is the Logos of Geburah, the one who receives the power of Binah, which is the Holy Spirit. Through Geburah, he goes into Netzach, and places his power in Yesod; this is the descent of Samael from Geburah into Netzach, into Yesod, through the serpent Zayin. This is why it is stated in The Zohar that Samael was riding a serpent, and through the serpent he talked to Adam and Eve. Samael holds the power of creation, and this is why Samael is giving this doctrine, in this day and age, in order for us to enter into initiation. Samael as fire is in Nephesh, because Nephesh is that virile power, that animal power, whether in us, or in any irrational animal. Samael is the fire that has to be defeated in order for Abraham, the Ruach Elohim, to liberate Isaac, as already explained in the lecture, “The Sacrifice of Samael,” which if you study it, you will then understand that when we talk about the Archetype of Samael, we are talking about the power of the serpent, Teth, life.

Questions and Answers

Audience: You said that the Philistines are always behind us? You meant internally, physically or both?

Instructor: The question is, are the Philistines and Delilah, inside or outside, physically, internally or both? Well, the night, Delilah is inside of us, because remember that when we enter into initiation, in the beginning, we are in darkness. If we investigate, if we close our eyes, we see darkness upon the face of the Abyss. That Abyss is Klipoth, where our subconsciousness, unconsciousness and infraconsciousness dwell, which are related with the seven-headed beast: lust, anger, envy, pride, gluttony, laziness, greed. The seven heads of the beast, 666, are inside; that is the darkness. All of that together is what the Bible calls “the Philistines.” The Hebrew word translated as Philistines actually means “invaders.” The ones that invade our psyche are the psychological aggregates, and all of them gather around Lilith, the Queen of Darkness, which is of course, Delilah in the story of Samson. That is inside of us. Each one of us has Delilah within, and has the Philistines within, and only the initiate that has started to liberate the Soul of the Mercury, the Ruach Elohim within himself and gives birth to Isaac, is a Samson. But, that Samson has to kill the lion, that fire within, which is the first task. The lion is the symbol of fire, the bestial fire, related with Nephesh, which has to be killed, and we have to do it. After this task Samson found a hive with honey within the carcass of the lion. Samson fed himself with it; this how any Kabbalist feeds himself: with honey, and becomes a Samson in the wilderness, to develop wisdom, Chokmah. But, no matter how strong Samson is, Delilah is always there, that is why there are many fallen Bodhisattvas. Who made them fall? It is Dalilah, who is not outside, but is your own particular Delilah is inside. Do not identify with your own desires, because when you do not control your mind, then Delilah, Lilith takes care of you. Then we become children of Lilith. That is why we have to say:

By the divine and human name of Shaddai, and by the sign of the Pentagram which I hold in my right hand, in the name of the angel Anael, by the power of Adam and Eve, who are Iod-HaVah, begone Lilith!  Let us rest in peace, Nahemah! - The Conjuration of the Seven of the wise Solomon

El Shaddai is the power of God in Yesod. When you name El Shaddai, internally and within the atmosphere you hear thunder and lighting, and the light of God in Nature rejects the negative forces of Lilith and Nahemah from the couple, Adam and Eve, man and woman. That light is the light of Anael, in the atmosphere, it is the Astral Light that shines through the sexual force. This is how you can conjure Lilith, Delilah, and all of those Philistines. We have 10,000 Philistines - who knows, maybe you have 10,001. [laughter]

Audience: You mentioned the conjuration, and, looking at Teth, it is the same symbol that we have used to seal our home, or our area, a blessing...

Instructor: Yes, when we are blessing or making a seal, we place the hand over the solar plexus, in order to project fire and light from our hand, in order to protect ourselves. That fire is working if we are transmuting. If we are fornicators, no matter what sign we do, it doesn’t work. We have to have that fire, because in the Solar Plexus we charge, we store the fire that we transmute, and if we want to defend ourselves we have to put our left hand over our solar plexus, in order to project it towards any negative force through conjurations and prayers. But that is when, I repeat, the Ruach Elohim, the soul of the mercury is liberated. If we are expelling our Nephesh in any sexual act, like any animal, then there is no fire stored within us, because the Ruach Elohim is hidden within that Nephesh, which is the brute mercury called sperm and ovum; semen, in other words.

So, the serpent has different levels. All of us are defeated by the serpent. Now, we have to conquer the serpent. That is why the serpent is fire, it is temptation; the triumph over the temptation is light. Temptation is fire, thus the triumph over the temptation is light, which is the Aur, the Ain Soph Aur, the light of the Lord.

Question: You mentioned that each letter is an archetype inside each person, or archetypes in people. Are there certain archetypes which occur more in certain types of people, than in others? Like in The Initiatic Path in the Tarot and Kabbalah, some people are born with fundamental tendencies and inner urgencies, and they’ll give them an Arcana like nine is the hermit, so they have initiation, sorrow, loneliness. Are these also traits that are in people, more than others, with the actual Arcana, the Hebrew letters?

Instructor: Remember that the path of the 22 letters begins with Aleph, and we are going up, in order to receive the seal of God, which is Tav. But, in the process, these 22 letters manifest in different octaves. The goal is to self-realize every single letter in ourselves, which is an Arcanum, in order to elaborate the house. One day, for instance, let me tell you of this experience. I was meditating on these 22 letters, how they manifest in us, and then I saw a venerable Master making letters from rocks. Every letter was a rock. He was stacking the rock-letters, making walls, and making a house. Ah, I said, I understand. The house of the Lord is made with the letters that form the Word. In the beginning was the Word: the letters. But that is a long process. Through initiations we build the house of the Lord, the Beth, Bereshith. That is the beginning.

Audience: You said that in order to reach the fifth initiation of the Major Mysteries, which is Tiphereth, only 10% of elimination is enough; does one have to work in the ninth sphere in order to reach that level?

Instructor: Well, 10% of what?

Audience: Elimination.

Instructor: Of the ego? The question is, is that right that only 10% of the elimination of the ego is necessary in order to reach Mastery? And do we need to work in the ninth sphere in order to reach the 10% of eliminating the aggregates and to reach the fifth initiation? Well, the one that reaches the fifth initiation is Chesed, Abraham. If you read the Bible, all the initiations are received by Abraham. Of course, he does it through Isaac and Jacob. In the physical body is where we work, but the one that receives the initiation is Chesed. Now, the elimination of the ego is also a job of Chesed, through the Divine Mother, the Shechinah, and we have to do that before hand, or after. The main thing is this: when you reach the fifth initiation, you still have ego, you still have the Philistines there; not as strong as in the beginning, because in order to reach the fifth initiation of the Major Mysteries, you have to eliminate many aggregates, but not all of them. The one who has to understand and comprehend all of his/her ego does it through the Divine Mother Shechinah, the light of Shechinah, which is Binah, which means “understanding, comprehension.” Shechinah, Binah, has to rise in the physical body, vital body, astral body, mental body, causal body, buddhic, and atmic bodies; the seven bodies. Then She will give you the light in order to understand and penetrate, if you follow the Direct path. Then you have to suffer a lot in order to be cleaned completely.

But, there are Masters who reach the fifth initiation and thereafter follow the spiral path, thus they use the light of their Shechinah through many lives in order to eliminate their ego very slowly. In other words, they follow the path of the hasnamussen, and do not be mistaken with this. In this level, in this meaning, hasnamuss means somebody that has ego and that is a Master within. We are hasnamussen as well, but it doesn’t mean that we are Masters. It means that we are the lower level of hasnamuss. In the hasnamussen levels, there are many levels. The worst level is the forth, which is the hasnamuss that rose to Mastery and fell, and has a double polarity, but it means that it is awakened here in the physical plane, and in the internal planes, and his ego is awakened; that is a very dangerous hasnamuss. But we are not very dangerous hasnamussen, because we are asleep. To become a double polarity means to be born again and to not eliminate the ego.

The Masters of the spiral path follow the path of the hasnamussen. It doesn’t mean that their ego is awakened in the physical plane. It means that they are trying to eliminate their ego slowly, but they are in the danger of awakening in evil and for evil, like other Masters that fell. This is what we have to understand, and to comprehend about the path of the hasnamussen.

The only one who is not a hasnamuss is the one who resurrects. The only one who resurrected in this time is the founder of the Gnostic Movement, Samael Aun Weor. He is not a hasnamuss, because he resurrected. He completely eliminated the ego. Below him, all of us are in different levels of hasnamussen.

Audience: Couples that practice Sexual Alchemy, do they eliminate more effectively, more efficiently, than single people who are eliminating and doing the transmutations, is that true?

Instructor: Yes, the question is, are the single people eliminating in the same way that the married people?

Audience: I mean, are they as successful?

Instructor: In order to be successful in the elimination of egos, what we need is comprehension. The Divine Mother has the power to eliminate, whether we are single or married, but she demands comprehension, understanding. If we do not have comprehension, understanding in the 49 levels, or in the level we are comprehending, she will not eliminate anything.

Notwithstanding, there are some egos that are very strong, very strong like Goliath. So for those types of egos, then the single person has to perform the sexual act, to find a spouse, in order to throw at that Goliath a very strong stone of Yesod, in order to kill him. The fire that is elaborated between the couple in the sexual act is triple, and no ego can tolerate or endure that power. That is why a single person can reach perhaps 50% of elimination, which is a lot. Beyond that, the person needs to be married, because there are, as I said, many egos like the Goliath that will laugh at you, who will say, “Oh yeah, come throw this pebble against me.” But, if you have a cannon, you shoot a big boulder from that cannon, thus you will kill all of them. That is to be married.

Audience: Which ordeals are related to the Major Mysteries?

Instructor: The ordeals that are related with the Minor and Major Mysteries are the ordeals of fire, water, air. and earth: the four elements. Those ordeals of the four elements are applied to the initiate in different levels, in the Minor and in the Major Mysteries. The ordeals come according to the level of consciousness. The ordeals are the base for initiation, not only the Minor. Every single initiation is based in the four ordeals. Even before resurrection we face ordeals of the elements. For example, a simple ordeal for a beginner related to water: you have to move to another city, and you have to adapt. That is easy when at the level of a beginner, but the ordeal of water for an advanced Master is strong, because even his life can be in jeopardy and he has to move wisely. Remember for instance, the crucifixion of Jesus, which is related to the fire. Judas went and sold him out. That is an ordeal of fire. He was accused in front of Caiaphas, and in response Jesus was silent. That is an ordeal of fire. Likewise, in different levels, the initiate receives this type of fire, this type of ordeal, according to his development. Even on the cross, Jesus is crucified, and everybody is insulting him. This is an ordeal of fire, too. He says “Father forgive them, because they do not know what they do.” There is a lot of comprehension and understanding there. We all react with ego, because we have ego, so in every ordeal, when we react with ego, we have to analyze what we have done, or how we behave, in order to advance through the initiations, because we have to annihilate Lilith, Delilah, otherwise she will conquer us.

Audience: How long do we have to practice Sexual Magic in order to grow strong, and what does it depend upon?

Instructor: That depends on the temperament of the person. To become strong? That depends on your willpower. Our motto is Thelema, willpower. That depends on your willpower. Thelema is given by Samael, in the same way above you receive Thelema in order to transmute your sexual energy. But, the time in order to practice the sexual magic, that depends on the couple; here we are not going to give a lecture about the temperaments; there are cold temperaments, warm temperaments, and hot temperaments, so you have to inquire into that, and read the book Parsifal Unveiled by Samael Aun Weor. In that book, the Master speaks clearly about the aspects of sexual magic, of course, in public lectures we cannot give details like that, because sex is sacred, so, we have to talk about this in general.

Audience: I was just imagining the Hermit you mentioned, and he is walking by himself, is he walking by himself because he is the only one walking there, or is he bearing the light for others, and they are kind of farther back?

Instructor: The question is about the ninth card of the tarot, or the hermit, and he is holding a lamp in his hand and a staff with the other. Well, you know the light is the way in which you transmute; this is how you make light in the darkness, which is the lamp of the hermit. It means that this is a private work, because a hermit is somebody that is isolated, you work with your own fire in other words. And, you hold yourself in the staff, the spinal column; this is how you walk, right? By holding all what you are doing in your witness, your Vav, spinal column, with the help of the Obd, which is the feminine aspect. The Obd gives the light for the way and the staff is the Vav, and this is how you walk, with the two witnesses, light and staff, that is the way, as the Lord says, “I am the Light, the Life (the spinal column) and the Way, no one goes to the Father, but through me,” says the Lord.
