I just wanted to ask a question to get more clarity and understanding. Why are we using the sound "o" for the heart chakra and not "yam"? I learned that the mantra for the heart is yam (but I'm coming from a yogic perspective/background). Does it create the same effect/vibration? THANKS!

When we vocalize the mantra “O” we sublimate the sexual energy up to the heart. The Inner Christ lives in the heart temple. When the sexual energies are sublimated to the heart, they activate the seven eyes of the lamb, and then our soul has the immense joy of soaring within the world of sound, the Logos, the Inner Christ, to enter into the spheres of music.
The chakra Anahata relates to Tiphereth, Apollo, the Sun God, God of Music, who with the Muse of Music and Poetry “Calliope” (literally: beautiful-voiced) engendered – by means of “Daath” the throat - “Orpheus” [ORFEO], the Christic fires in our heart, which through the Venustic Initiation vibrate with the seven esoteric vowels IEOUAMS, in the spinal column [his Lyre].

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5
