Greetings,

I would like to know what the Master advises concerning brothers and sisters who consciously practice black magic. We are all black in our own level, however there are those who make a conscious choice to feed the ego through ritual, deception, and other practices. For a while, we studied with a couple who as time went by, it became clear that they were following the left-handed path. My initial instinct was to treat them with kindness and to continue studying the teachings of Gnostic meditation. I know that these types primarily target the mind and plant seeds in order to get what they want from us. At times I even became aware that I was allowing it to effect me and I know that they were gaining a grip over my spouse and possibly even my children and other family. I know that they cannot effect us as long as we remain conscious and not allow our ego to become attached to any of the "seeds" that they were planting. However, after a while I felt we needed to distance ourselves from them.

I guess at this point, I'm wondering when it is proper to cut ties completely. I recently was contacted by them and they asked me to print out a conjuration that I could see by the wording was genuine black magic. I verified that my suspicion was correct, then I advised them that they are free to do as they please, but I will not reproduce such things. For some time I have suspected they study the teachings of various schools such as OTO, Golden Dawn, etc. Now I am certain.

Is it wrong for me to feel that I don't want that sort of influence around myself and my family? I feel guilty not offering to study the teachings of the White Lodge, who knows if it might have a positive impact on them. But I have the overwhelming suspicion that they are just there to take advantage of us, and they could care less about the teachings of the White Lodge.

If it were just me, I would stick it out and they can try to take whatever they wish from me. It is clear what they are after is material gain, let them have it. But I don't want to expose my family to it.

It has been stated that the Buddha saved a nation of demons, the apostles cured the sick and drove out demons. Not that I am anywhere near that level and it is obvious that in it's root these things are symbolic of the individual work on one's OWN demons. But Master Yeshuah stated that nobody lights a candle then places a basket over it, but proclaim it from the roof tops.

I have a candle, but I also have a plank in my eye.

Thank you.

When one opens the doors to negative impressions, one not only alters the order of the emotional center which is in the heart, but moreover one makes this center negative. For example, if somebody we know is filled with anger because another person hurt him, we open our doors to those impressions and end up taking the side of our friend and feeling animosity towards the one who hurt him. We too become filled with anger, without even having played a part in the matter.

Let us suppose that one opens the doors to a negative impression of a drunkard; one then ends up accepting a drink, then another, and another, and so forth. In conclusion, one ends up being a drunkard too.

Let us suppose that one opens the doors to the negative impressions of a person of the opposite sex; most likely, one ends up fornicating and committing all types of transgressions.

If we open the doors to the negative impressions of a drug addict, then maybe we will end up smoking marijuana or consuming some type of intoxicants. As a conclusion, failure will come.

Thus, this is the way that human beings infect each other within their negative atmospheres. Thieves alter other people into becoming thieves. Murderers infect someone else. Drug addicts infect other people. This is how drug addicts, thieves, usurers, murderers, etc., multiply. Why? Because we commit the error of always opening our doors to negative emotions and this is never right. Therefore, let us select our emotions.

If someone brings us positive emotions of light, beauty, harmony, happiness, love, and perfection, then let us open the doors of our heart to him. But if someone brings us negative emotions of hate, violence, jealousy, drugs, alcohol, fornication and adultery, why should we open the doors of our heart to him? Let us close them! Close the doors to all negative emotions. - The Revolution of the Dialectic
A negative person can infect other negative people, and if this person dictates a lecture, then he infects thousands of people. They are more dangerous, thousand of times more dangerous, than viruses and bacteria. [...] People like this have to be isolated from groups; they do not understand or they do not comprehend that they are negative. They think that we do not love them, but we love them; what occurs is that they are infected people that interrupt the interior, profound development of the Being. - Alcyone
