Hello ^^

I've recently started meditation before I go to bed and I've been getting vivid nightmares which wakes me up in the night feeling fear. Is this normal?

And my second question is: since the nightmares wake me up after the dream would it be wise to astral project or would my fear take over and create some scary being to scar me for life lol.

In case you want to know the things I saw and are able to interpret it:

Day 1 Demon baby (it was possessed doing weird stuff)

Day 2 Forgotten this one

Day 3 Horribly disfigured people

Many thanks
James

Meditation awakens the internal senses. Therefore, it is normal to begin to experience psychic phenomena, whether we label them "good" or "bad." The important thing is to not be identified with either, but to recognize how these are normal occurrences within the fluctuating states of the psyche, and that regardless of such, one must continue practicing in order to comprehend and transcend them.

If you continue to experience bad dreams, you can work with the prayers, conjurations and invocations of this tradition, namely: the Conjurations of the Four and the Seven, and the Invocation of Solomon the Sage. You may find them within our publication: The Gnostic Prayer Book, or in the referenced webpage below.

Prayers can help us elevate our level of being and awaken consciousness, thereby establishing a deeper connection with our God. Sincere prayers help prepare our bodies, mind and souls for dream yoga, establishing a grounded circuit or profound connection with the superior worlds. Such tools also help us to dominate the mind which is the source of bad dreams.

The Pater Noster, accompanied with a glass of grape juice and a piece of bread, is especially effective for this, since this practice charges one's internal psychic atmosphere with billions of Christic atoms, or, to use Master Moria's terms in The Dayspring of Youth, Transformation atoms that work under the guidance of the Innermost and help to elevate our vibratory capacities in our bodies and minds.

Remember that one always prays and takes the Eucharist on one's knees. This practice can be performed in the early morning hours or before going to bed, the latter case being more preferable in your case since it is an excellent time to strengthen the heart before entering the dream state. You may find explanations given by Samael Aun Weor in relation with the practice of the Eucharist in his book The Seven Words, also referenced below.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
