How can I progress spiritually if my mate wont participate in the mantras during the act?

You can pronounce the mantras mentally. They will still have the power to transform the energy. Even if your partner is not transmuting, you still can transmute successfully. In one way, the practice is not as powerful because only one person is practicing, but in another, it requires more willpower (because there may be more temptation) for the one who is practicing which means it can be more powerful.
