Hi..

So, during the day, I try to constantly mantralize, remember my Divine Mother, practice SOL, be aware of my three brains, transform impressions, all at the same time, and sometimes it just seems like its way too much.. Like Im diverting my attention and being scattered, things get unorganized and a ball drops, and the practice isnt even beneficial at that point.. Sometimes, it seems alot easier to just be present, self observe and remember my Divine Mother..

It feels like mantralizing everyday, for the last 7 months (literally not kabbalistically :P ) has made me develop a tendancy for my brain to need to be always chewing on some chatter, some vocalization.. I guess out of habit, its now engrained in a sense that I should be saying "Om Tat Sat Om" or whatnot at every moment of my daily life....

Before mantralization, for about a year I was more focused on self observation and silencing the chatter and experienced alot more moments where you could say I had certain insights in perception, clarity, serenity, peace, in the moment..

Should someone, say a beginner, two years in, just keep it simple and just be present and remember the divine mother?
Can mantralizing over stimulate the mind? I know it supposed to focus your attention, so the mind doesnt wander, and it does, but when I let go of the mantralization, it seems the mind wants to keep going and doing something else. Also know its a matter of attention, and so that brings me back to the first paragraph of combining a lot of practices and the result is actually scattered attention..

Or does this come down to raising the point of your awareness where its all encompassing and you can more of less multitask or juggle all this from a point of central observation.. And for a beginner, a slight breeze might throw it all off, but for someone very experienced, external phenomena really doesnt disturb this process?

Im just concerned more that what Im doing may actually not be helping, or perhaps, it is and really just more aware of the inner chatter and disorganization..?

Anyway, any input would be appreciated..

Any practice can become mechanical, and therefore pointless.

The purpose of every exercise is to energize the presence of the consciousness. The consciousness, being dynamic, intuitive, and spontaneous, does not awaken through mere repetition, but through being utilized here and now.

In the beginning, being weak and undeveloped, the consciousness cannot handle much, and tends to fall back asleep. Through training and development, it becomes capable of true prodigies.

Each student has to learn to balance everything and develop themselves in balance. Each student has to do this on their own.

Always come back to the fundamentals, then expand.
