Is it accurate to say that the four major kingdoms in nature are influenced by the four elements?

For example:
Air - The humanoid kingdom
Fire - The animal kingdom
Water - The plant kingdom
Earth - The mineral kingdom

What Manly P. Hall explained is congruent with Alchemy and Kabbalah. In that context, the fifth element (Akash, Ether) relates to the Kundalini and the awakened consciousness of beings who belong to the higher kingdoms. So if we want to transcend being mere animals, we need to work with the fifth element.

In the recent lectures about Alchemy (link below) we learned a lot about the elements and what they represent.

“Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes.” —Demosthenes

"Do not worry; cultivate the habit of being happy." —Samael Aun Weor

Is this correspondence drawn from a particular source or in reference to a particular subject? There are many ways to relate the elements and kingdoms, so before we proceed it would help to know what you are referring to.

Yes, good point:

Recently I listened to a lecture given by Manly P Hall, in the lecture Manly talked about the elements and how they relate to the kingdoms, when he talked about them, he seemed to indicate that the elements relate to the idiosyncrasies of each kingdom rather than every aspect of each kingdom as a whole. For example, Manly said that when looking at the humanoid kingdom we see that there is a significant psychological shift in comparison to the other kingdoms, humans have intellect, reasoning, logic etc so because of this, the humanoid is said to be highly influenced by the element of air, at least in its development or elaboration.

In the lecture, Manly related only the elements of fire and air to the animal and humanoid kingdoms, the other two; earth and water he just gave a description of their characteristics, such as water being fluid and dynamic whereas earth being solid and rigid.

My question is about whether the four elements each have a role to play (semi-separately) in the differences between each kingdom. Did this clarify for you the nature of my question?

From your response, I gathered that yes indeed, each element stands out as being the catalyst for change in each kingdom, yet not in complete isolation from the rest of the elements, so by inference, for us to metamorphose into an evolved state, the fifth element called Akash or Ether as you have stated needs to be brought forth and worked upon, yet because we have reached the tip of mechanical evolution, we need to consciously initiate this process.

This of course opens up for more questions, although, I will refrain myself from asking too many and just try to study your reference links.

If I have made any conceptual mistakes in my post, please feel free to point them out, all the best and thank you. May God bless us all!
