Upon leaving
Greetings instructors!
We are about to move to another appartment. We know that we could make use of sulphur
and various kinds of incense to cleanse the environment in which we live. However, before
we move out of this appartment, we want to make sure that it becomes a cleaner place for
whoever moves in here.
Even though when we close our eyes before going to bed, I can see a lot of darkness within
the space within which we live. This darkness won't go away simply by using incense. We
haven't tried sulphur, but since it's an appartment, the poisonous vapour might spread through
the ventilation system into other appartments, so we won't risk using that as a method.
As a clarification, we do not encounter this kind of darkness whenever we visit other places,
like when we go to bed in a friend's house, even though we can see the environment as usual
with our eyes closed.
We haven't explored prayer enough to know which ones to use when it comes to cleaning
a place out before leaving. This, we suspect, is strongly linked to the state of our mind.
So, any kind of guidance would be highly appreciated
We thought also perhaps that we'd share a picture of the experience, with part of its poem

Alas! my light in vain expecting eyes
Can find no objects, but what rise
From this poore mortal blaze, a dying spark
Of Vulcan's forge, whose flames are dark,
A dang'rous, a dull blue-burning light,
As melancholy as the night:
Here's all the sunnes that glister in the sphere
Of earth: ah me! what comfort's here?
Sweet Phosphor, bring the day;
Haste, haste away,
Heav'n's loit'ring lamp; sweet Phosphor, bring the day.
