I am still waiting on a follow-up on the answer I made to a question staged to me a couple of weeks back, but I'm not sure if I'll get one at this point so I'd like to instead ask something that's been weighing on my mind for some time now.
I know a little of the significance of certain numbers, like 108 or 7, but what do the Gnostics teach on 138 and 2178? There is a historian who mentions a recurrent catastrophe that has a period of 138 years (even before the years were 365.25 days long, it was still exactly 138 years). This historian also suggests that 2178 may have a significance beyond what we can measure normally due to a joint project he made with mathematicians.
