Hi, I've followed samael's advice which is to have a constantly lit fire in the house. (I can't exactly build an altar due to my religiously indoctrinated family, but having a constantly lit candle in my room can be explained away, unlike a fully formed altar) So, in my room, a constantly lit candle will do me good right?

1.) I may not have an altar, but can you direct me to a list of magick rituals that I can still do? Also, Samael says that prayer before fire enhances it... is he exaggerating? He says 'Every prayer to the Logos must be accompanied by fire. Thus the prayer is powerful.' So, is praying with fire better than just... praying without it? I find that Samael may be a bit exaggerative at times so if an instructor can give the go- ahead, it would help quell my doubt... thank you

2.) In which direction should I be praying? Does it matter?
3.) Are we praying TO the fire? Meditating on the fire etc whilst praying to whatever God/deity. Does divinity manifest itself within the fire? Is this how fire prayer works?
Lastly.. Is praying to fire better than just... praying without it?

1) The Conjurations of the Four, the Seven, the Invocation of Solomon, and the four exorcisms are exceptional for purifying the mind, heart, body, and environment.

Fire does magnify our sentiments and intention, since it represents the forces of Christ and is a like a conductor for uplifting the prayerful heart.

2) When performing the four exorcisms, pray to the North (earth), East, (air), South (fire), and West (water). The Conjurations can be performed with our back facing the altar, protecting our home from any negativity from without (and within). We can also pray the Invocation of the Solomon facing the altar (as we invite solar forces from the tree of life into our space).

3) We pray to our inner God. A candle helps to soften our mood and provide spiritual ambience to our meditation space. A relaxed heart can pray and commune more effectively with divinity. Fire and light change our psychological environment. We do not pray to the fire like a separate deity, but use it to help our consciousness become more open, receptive, and serene, the latter which are prerequisites for profound prayer and deep insights.
