To follow up on a previous question, my son does not want to go to college because he thinks it over emphasizes the intellectual mind. He got admitted to St. Johns College. Its entire curriculum studies the classics and foundations of western and eastern civilization. Most of the authors (Aristotle, Newton, Davinci, Pythagoras) were masters in the esoteric sciences. His mother and I believe this school would help him with both is spiritual path and becoming a solid person in society but he has not interest except for his spiritual practice. Thank you for your advice.

There are many masters of Major Mysteries who went to college and used the best of their learning for the benefit of others.
Rejecting an education and the potential to become more useful to humanity is not spiritual.

Being and knowing must be balanced to establish a sudden blaze of comprehension within our psyche.Your son can pursue a “spiritual” life, but if it neglects intellectual discipline, you have a person whose spirituality is not effective, because one does not know how to survive and interact in the world.
When knowing is greater than being, it causes all kinds of intellectual confusion.

Thank you for the very helpful advice. I now realize my flaw. My error was that of over-relying on intuition which was actually an ego pretending to be intuition. A helpful quote:
"Though the Innermost may seldom interest Itself in outer things, we should always do so, and strive to conform to the laws of this world." - M
The reply by Benedictus in this post has also been very helpful in regard to this question:
I was trying to not use my lunar personality at all, even when I had such little of my Being developed. Supposedly the lunar personality does not need to be used at a very advanced stage in development. However, I am far from there.
