I have just started reading Dante's Inferno.
The translation I have obtained is by a fellow called Mark Musa.
Does anyone have any insights they would like to share about the level of objectivity of in this person's translation and interpretation/commentary?
Are there any alternative translations that would be recommended?

I do not know of that translation. Here is what I own: 
For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami
