Today I caught mysef thinking: what if this civilization still has one or two centuries left before the great cataclysm arrives? Most gnostics seem to think the cataclysm will happen in the year 2040, or at the maximum before the end of the 21st century. But what if we reach the 22nd century, 23rd and beyond... before the true final destruction? Do you think it is possible? Would we then become like those overly technological societies from sci-movies, where everything is very corrupt, there is immense inequality, but technology is everywhere, in a very advanced form, with cyborgs, androids, roaming around, and people getting lost in worlds of virtual reality while living in very small, dark, metallic, AI controlled apartments, tucked like sardines inside buildings where thousands of people live, inside oppressive mega-cities ruled by corporations, in a Earth inhabited by 20+ billion humans or something of the sort... Do you think this can become a reality? Or is it just Kalkian fantasy? Will the Law allow us to reach that point?
