Is it okay for single people to transmute the sexual energy throughout their entire day, or at several prolonged moments at least, using imagination and willpower to direct it up to the brain? Or should this practise be reserved for pranayama and vajroli mudra exclusively? I ask because I realize the necessity for single persons to change their sexual system to flowing inwards and upwards as Samael said, to avoid wetdreams and the involution of semen. However, is the system tied necessarily to the breath, and should be reserved for one's asana, or can one simply focus on it with one's will until it is the natural organization of the body?

The more time you can spend in transmutation while single, the better. Walks, light exercise, and classical music offer us wonderful opportunities to work with our breath and practices of sexual transmutation, such as with Ham-Sah. However, do not forsake your time dedicated specifically to transmutation, pranayama and/or the Vajroli mudra. What we suggest is to incorporate and integrate these esoteric practices throughout your daily life as often as possible.

To properly change the flow of breath from the lunar Sah-Ham to the solar Ham-Sah, more than observation of the breath is necessary. One must incorporate their will united with God, prayer and imagination of the sexual forces to achieve proper sublimation. It takes a lot of practice to help change the flow of energies within the body and the mind. Observation of the breath helps with concentration, but we must always dedicate our entire being to the act of transmutation in order to change the flow of energies from centrifugal to centripetal.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.
