[1] And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. [2] And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. [3] And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. [4] And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top [may reach] unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. [5] And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. [6] And the LORD said, Behold, the people [is] one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. [7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. - Gen 11:1-7 KJV

Couldn't one just as easily assign this allegory to the process of awakening the Kundalini rather than the pursuit of material desire?

Therefore is the name of it called בָּבֶל Babel; because the יהוה‎ LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the יהוה‎ LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. -Genesis 11:9
And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven (דעת Da'ath), having great power; (in יסוד Yesod) and the earth (human being) was lightened with his glory (the Astral Light of הוד Hod).

And he cried mightily with a strong voice (the thundering of the Verb), saying, Βαβυλὼν / בָּבֶל Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings (fallen Bodhisattvas or מְּלָכִים Malachim) of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth (or demons who make business with the souls of men) are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. -Revelation 18:1-3

Babylon is the human being, the city of God that has fallen into corruption. When the human soul perverts himself, the Law falls upon him. So long as the ego lives, nothing can come from בָּבֶל Babylon but "babbling," which is the confusion of tongues. When the human being purifies himself, then the Holy Spirit (יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים Jehovah Elohim, Binah: Understanding, the Logos or Word) can enter into him in order to provide the power of tongues, the comprehension of the Golden Language. These are the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet or twenty-two arcana (laws) of the Tarot (the תורה Torah).

ALEPH. Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the תורה law of the יהוה LORD.

Depending on Hebrew grammar, sometimes one states "בְּתֹורַת" or Be-Torat, "in the law" of Jehovah יהוה. Remember that Master Samael wrote:

The Kundalini develops, evolves, and progresses according to the merits of the heart (תִפְאָֽרֶת Tiphereth).

תִפְאָֽרֶת Tiphereth, the heart of the tree of life, is spelled in a similar fashion as "in the law," בְּתֹורַת or Be-Torat. Therefore, the merits of the heart correspond to how we develop the law or תורה Torah within ourselves through our human soul. This is how we produce "beauty," תִפְאָֽרֶת Tiphereth.

When a person lacks the development of the heart, one no longer speaks beautiful words, but babbling, garbage and filthiness from the mind (בָּבֶל Babylon). When the תורה Torah (law) is developed in our hearts (תִפְאָֽרֶת Tiphereth) through sexual alchemy, then the Kundalini may rise. But if there is babbling, the Tower of Babel will be fulminated by the lightning of Christ, the terrible ray of divine justice.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

No. The tower of Babel is the mind of the intellectual animal, constituted by "babbling" or "gibberish," the lunar protoplasmic nature of the pluralized ego. The awakening of the Kundalini is the result of working with the Divine Mother, the terror of love (Gedulah) and law (the תֹּורָה Torah). It is the law of the heart that Devi Kundalini only awakens within those who establish order (psychological equilibrium) within their psyche through a marriage undefiled (Hebrews 13:4). As for those who dwell in fornication, only babbling and the confusion of tongues (the adulteration of the Word) exists.

Please study the following lectures for more understanding on this subject.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Upon reflection, the following video depicts the tower of Babel (babble) very well.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"

In other words, you are saying that the tower of babel is the exchange of theological ideas, that leads only to additional confusion? I guess we could call it, "intellectual theology". I mean that's what I got from the baseball video. So there is no reason to have discussion of these matters because it only leads to babbling?

To be honest, I was kind of hoping for a more "Kabbalistic" answer. I'll check out the lectures. Thank you.

It would appear my "I" is trying to rebuild my Tower of Babel. Experience has already taught me the best interpretation of these passages. I don't know why I'm even asking. I guess it's a counterfeit Thomas doubting what I have already tested and proven.

Thank you for helping me to remember myself. :)
