As I know, first flashes of awakening in the inner worlds occur when there is 4% or 5% of free conciousness, but is that the only sign ?

A good indication that you are progressing in the work on your defects is that situations repeat, but you no longer react in the same mechanical fashion as before. This is the strongest evidence we can acquire about the realities of our spiritual transformation.
Having internal experiences does not always indicate progress; however, in certain clear experiences the Being can confirm the progress of our psychological work in the physical world. Such messages are symbolically explained through the Initiatic Kabbalah. Whenever we have internal experiences about the nature of our work, we must always correspond them with physical facts. Otherwise, we must disregard the experiences as inauthentic. Both internal and external phenomena must coincide in accordance with strict scientific analysis, experimentation and Gnostic methodology.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.
Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

That will really depend upon the type and quality of internal experience. What generally happens is that the student awakens the free three percent consciousness that is not bottled in the ego. But sometimes the Being may deem it necessary to extract a greater percentage of our consciousness out of the ego in order to provide the soul with a samadhi or sacred experience. The most awakened, luminous, perceptive and clear experiences are a result of the Monad's intervention on behalf of His essence.
While either case depends on the discipline and development of the student, God is always the one who decides what His child receives within meditation and the internal planes. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stated in certain Hadith, "Pray to Allah, but tie your camel to a post." This means, pray that God will help you, but first you must help yourself through spiritual practice. Or, as we hear recited so ubiquitously, "God helps those who help themselves."
