I have had what I consider unusual experiences in the last two days, and don't know what to make of it. I consider myself Gnostic in the way of having a path of dissolving and transforming the ego, and directly experiencing Divinity. Those experiences are primarily had through ceremonial-type Hermetic magick. The day before yesterday, as I was falling asleep, I heard this voice that sounded gentle yet stern telling me to hold my close friend's hand (also Gnostic). (He lives in another state.) I did. He told me that at about the same time, he had a hard time concentrating on his magick work because he had just gotten into a big fight with his girlfriend. I recognized this incident as a full out-of-body experience, as I've had them before. Then, yesterday, as I was waking up, I could feel energy like I would normally feel while doing magick and I was muttering what almost sounded like mantras. I already work in the astral and have been doing so for about three years now, but I don't understand why I'm now *doing* things in what seems to be my sleep. I don't remember any dreams. Just this. I would love to hear if maybe others have had such experiences, or if there's an explanation for it. Thank you for any help or information you can give me.

You will experience many strange things upon awakening the consciousness. Rather than provide an opinion about this phenomenon, I invite you to be patient and to deepen your own esoteric discipline. Often the answers to such questions arrive through more experience and more profound study of the teachings (scriptures, the writings of Samael Aun Weor and other great initiates).

This helps us to develop into mature spiritual persons, and to become judges of our own psychological work. A forum can provide help, but the best advice I can give you is: be patient, apply the teachings to your life, and meditate! When I was a student and asked questions about such things, this was the best advice I ever received.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
