Virginity

I am a 22 year old male, and still a virgin. And I plan on remaining a virgin as long until I meet my woman. BUT, lustful thoughts come to me in huge storms. I have been making a strong conscious effort to stop masturbation starting this year, as it has affected me negatively throughout my college life in terms of doing shit, like meeting new people, trying new things. The strongest sexual transmutation is possible with a wife, but I seem to have come across this knowledge a bit early in my life because I am happy leading a focused single life to meet my goals. Is Pranayama the only way? I feel at times it works, but sometimes the lust just comes back stronger than before..
