Renunciation
I've got quite a long period of suffering, thus I developed a dislike for this world, but because of my illness I could not practice.
Now I am getting some relief and along with it my mind becomes more and more interested in pleasures of this world, thus heavily distracting me from the Work and practice.
How can I manage that?
What could be a good way for a beginner to understand that attachment to this world only produces suffering and leads to nowhere?

The only way you can comprehend anything is through your own experience.
Study the scriptures and yourself.
Study the scriptures and yourself.
Without pure renunciation, there is no way to end
This striving for pleasant results in the ocean of life.
It is because of their hankering life as well that beings
Are fettered, so seek renunciation first.
“Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes.” —Demosthenes
"Do not worry; cultivate the habit of being happy." —Samael Aun Weor
