Why do modern so-called "Luciferians" seek power in the Klipoth and why do they hold Aleister Crowley in so much esteem? The Gnostics motto is Thelema, will power. This as I understand it, is the basis of Aleister Crowley's theology. The Master Samael Aun Weor has mentioned Crowley in his books, but not in a negative aspect as far as I can tell. Lucifer is the "bearer of light", why would those of the black lodge be associating themselves with an unfallen force? Is this all just pure ignorance?

I understand the difference between the left-hand path and the right-hand path, but why is Crowley in the middle of both of these paths?

Thank you and blessings.

All of us are in the middle, since we are hasnamussen: "...a person with a divided consciousness: part of it is free and natural, and part is trapped in the ego. In synthesis, everyone who has ego is a Hasnamuss."

There are many who claim to worship God or great Masters but who due to their ignorance commit horrible crimes. The so-called "Luciferians" are no different from Christians, Muslims, Hindus, etc. who commit atrocities in the name of their "God." All believe they are on the right path, but in fact have no idea of the truth.

What matters is not what we believe, but what we do.

“Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will (Thelema), but thine, be done.” - Luke 22: 42

So (Father), "do what thou wilt (Thelema), shall be the whole of the Law." And what is the whole of the law?

”Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself (who is thy Father, thy true Self).” - Matthew 22: 37-39

On these two commandments hang the whole of the law and the prophets.

“Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes.” —Demosthenes

"Do not worry; cultivate the habit of being happy." —Samael Aun Weor

In other words, Crowley was given insight, but never fully dissolved the ego? Is that what you're saying?

17 These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm; for them the nether gloom of darkness has been reserved.
18 For, uttering loud boasts of folly, they entice with licentious passions of the flesh men who have barely escaped from those who live in error.
19 They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption; for whatever overcomes a man, to that he is enslaved.
20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overpowered, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
21 For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
22 It has happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog turns back to his own vomit, and the sow is washed only to wallow in the mire.
