First of all, I am new to this world of Gnosticism! Hello Instructors and I thank you in advance for taking the time to read this concern from me.
Although a part of me has doubt on the matters of spirituality, but if nothing else the views of spirituality from the Gnostic perspective seems more on point and united with all the faiths of the world, and ultimately the Gnostic faith seems to be balanced! Which I find quite comforting. I am a believer of action and re-action, cause and effect. The great religions of this world may have different paths to divinity but all wish to head to the same thing, although no one agrees on the path that should be taken, but the fact everyone is willing to acknowledge something greater than ourselves is something that can not without due process.
I have been listening to "Death" series hosted by the Gnostic Teachings website and I have completed the first two parts of the series and now on the third of six episodes, From what I have learned thus far from these lessons, whatsoever our frame of mind is at death, is wheresoever we shall go. Which I can believe to be true. I have always known to get anywhere in the spiritual side progress must be made, but a part of me still thinks in the ideology....
1.) That God (or True Supreme Light of Consciousness) shall reconcile all things to himself.
2.) That God (or True Supreme Light of Consciousness) desires for all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth.
These points I made above from christian bible teaching, supposedly supports the idea of Universal Salvation. Which I still believe for the moment being, or until I can be given a reasonable explanation against this idea otherwise.
I apologize for my long-winded statement above, but my Ultimate question here is this....
Is the ideology of Universal Salvation valid, and simply misunderstood? In terms of All will be eventually be saved, its just a matter of when (whether this lifetime of the next) and up to the individual in question or.....
Universal Salvation is not at all valid, and is merely another form of confusion or deception that Christianity provides to give us comfort during the physical life?
I would appreciate a response on this from a Gnostic Instructor or anyone that is well strengthen in the Gnostic faith, Thank you for reading. I look forward to your responses. Be safe.

Only with conscious works can we reach true Salvation and Final Liberation. Salvation is not mechanical. God is not a tyrant and we all have the choice to not work on ourselves.
In terms of the souls in physical bodies right now, the vast majority of us will not self-realize and will descend into the Inferno though a very long and painful ordeal. Eventually, through a process of evolution, these souls will have another chance in bodies in order to have the opportunity to self-realize again.
When the Cosmic Night occurs, everyone without exception returns to the Absolute. But, when the Cosmic Day comes, all the spirits that have not reached perfection will exit the Absolute and to the processes of evolution and devolution.
In terms of the souls in physical bodies right now, the vast majority of us will not self-realize and will descend into the Inferno though a very long and painful ordeal. Eventually, through a process of evolution, these souls will have another chance in bodies in order to have the opportunity to self-realize again.
When the Cosmic Night occurs, everyone without exception returns to the Absolute. But, when the Cosmic Day comes, all the spirits that have not reached perfection will exit the Absolute and to the processes of evolution and devolution.

While I appreciate your most recent response, and I thank you for taking the time to write back at all. I was hoping for something with a bit more detail, I clicked on your recommended link that leads to the purchase of a book.
I was hoping for a response to my question instead of a obvious statement of this information is available in many books and then given a link to the purchase of a book with sample chapters available, which I have no clue where to even begin.
I say all of this not to be ungrateful and problematic or anything but, I have no idea where to go to get a reasonable Gnostic answer on this other than the "Get Help" section of this site. Just saying a certain prayer "Please Save Me, For I Repent" to Lord Jesus Christ and sincerely meaning it; at that moment in time would not be enough for one's salvation to be secured. I figured as much. For years I always felt that way, and never really knew why, now I know. For the former would be just too easy, what you just indicated KH, seems to be the most balanced answer.
I always thought to myself, that life is one great training ground to achieve something spectacular, which is, true self-realization of who we really are, and being able to remember all of it. Then we can truly move on to our next divine step.
Wow, I honestly think your answer is flawless. While True Salvation and Final Liberation does not occur in the manner that most would think, but at least we know it will occur eventually for everyone (when one truly wants it). I can only imagine that everyone will inevitably want this, perhaps not this lifetime, and maybe not the next, but eventually one day final liberation will come to all.
According to my Christian background and belief, God will reconcile all things to himself, and God desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth! All though that just maybe my naive optimistic interpretation of those scriptures and it may very mean something entirely else, nevertheless it just seems more fitting that Almighty God, is the loving, forgiving, and merciful Father that the Christian Bible scriptures makes him out to be.
Apologies, I digress... I accept your previous answer and I'm certainly willing to amend my belief on this matter thanks KH, and to you as well Matthew on your response from earlier, I know your intentions only meant well, and please forgive me if I appeared ungrateful to your original response.
I certainly wish to become a Gnostic Student, and make big changes consciously for the better. I just hope I develop the courage to see all this through to the end, before my life is over. There is something else I wish to ask but I'll save that for another thread question. Thank you for your responses.

רז Raz mystery: Reish -100 + Zain - 7 = 8
אור Aur light: Aleph – 1 + Vav – 6 + Reish - 100 = 8
יהוה Iod – 10 + Hei – 5 + Vav – 6 + Hei – 5 = 26 = 8
יהוה is 8 which is the רז Raz mystery of the infinite 8, יהוה is also the אור Aur light of Yehidah, the Universal Light, namely, the Tetragrammaton: Ain Soph, Kether, Chokmah and Binah, the Holy name of the Eternal, the universal light of salvation, whose envoy is the Messiah.
משיחא Messiah written in Aramaic has the three mother letters א Aleph-Air, ש Shin-Fire and מ Mem-Water within חי Chaiah-Life.
חי Chaiah-Life appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as אל שדי El Shaddai God Almighty; but by the name יהוה (the light of Yehidah) was not known to them. (Exodus 6: 3)
This means that the letter ש Shin-Fire, which value is 300 = 3 - that Kabbalistically represents the three patriarchs, namely, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - must be developed within us, so that we can place it in between יהוה. This is the way for יהשוה Yeshua, the savior to appear.
יהוה (who is the mystery of Yehidah) is my אור Aur light and my יהשוה Yeshua salvation; whom shall I fear? יהוה (the light of Yehidah) is the strength of (Yesod, sex) my חי Chaiah life; of whom shall I be afraid? – Psalm 27: 1

Thank you guys for the continued flow of responses, All that you guys recently indicated seems to click more to me in mind and perhaps even within my soul. I sincerely believe it is starting to make a small indentation within my consciousness, now for the hard part... to make my conscious indentation of this insight a lasting remembrance within my essence. Difficult this will be for me. I will be listening to the recommended audio lecture that has been linked on this thread and I will do some more reading in reference to the previous quoted indications as soon as possible.
I feel like a kid all over again in Elementary School learning a subject I love and have nothing but compassion and sincerity for it. I definitely consider my self a Gnosis Student-in-Training going forward.
