When one has a problem/issue they would like to deal with, for example making a decision or dealing with a negative emotion like anger, laziness, greed and is conscious when a particular thing bothers them, how do you meditate on it and what kind of result should you look for? For instance, I became a little bothered by the fact that some of my co-workers spend a lot of time chatting at work on line and thier managers seem clueless about what they are doing from day-to-day. They often-times have no accountability and my supervisor completed his income taxes on (company time) and I was annoyed about that as well.. I on the other-hand am given several tasks throughout the day and don't have time to sometimes take care of my own personal things...ok.. so to put things in prespective I realized that It wasn't really about my co-workers but about myself wanting to have more spare time to do nothing if I so desired..but for somereason these thoughts seem to bother me more and more the busier I became... I couldn't even focus on my language class because of these thoughts .. I couldn't concentrate and be in the moment.. I sometimes find myself being ticked off about things that don't concern me directly but do concern me in a bigger picuture. I hope you can get the picture.

So, the question for me is How does one meditate on issues dealing with emotions?

on the other hand, I was aware that what I was feeling was not exactly positive and i wanted to get rid of those feelings and be able to put things in prespective. Recently, I am having to deal with a number of situations that affect my heart center. I have always been a caring person and I find difficulty in making decesions that are not based on my feelings. Making decisions in this manner may not always be wise. I'm not very good when it comes to "tough love." I have prayed on this and asked for guidance so that I am able to make the right choice. Sometimes there seems to be a thin line between fear/love/ as a result=indecisiveness. I look forward to your assistance.

Peace

The dissolution of our psychological defects can only occur by first understanding how they work. This is why we learn how to relax and visualize the facts of our experiences, so we can look closely at what we experienced in order to see what we did not see before.

Observation, judgement, and execution are the three basic factors of dissolution.

First: one observes oneself. Second: judgement is passed. Third: execution takes place.

In war, spies are first observed; secondly, they are judged; thirdly, they are shot.

Self-discovery and self-revelation exist in our interrelationships. Therefore, whosoever renounces living together with his fellowmen also renounces self-discovery.

Any incident in life, regardless of how insignificant it may seem, undoubtedly has as its cause an intimate actor within us, a psychic aggregate, an “I.”

Self-discovery is possible when we are in a state of alert perception, alert novelty.

Any “I” discovered flagrantly must be carefully observed in our mind, heart, and sexual center.

Any “I” of lust could manifest itself in the heart as love and in the mind as an ideal. Yet, as we pay attention to the sexual center, we may feel a certain morbid, unmistakable excitement.

The judgment of any “I” must be definitive. We need to sit it down on the bench of the accused and judge it mercilessly.

Evasion, justification, and consideration must be eliminated if in reality we want to be conscious of the “I” that we struggle to extirpate from our psyche.

Execution is different. It would not be possible to execute any “I” without previously observing it and judging it.

Thus, in meditation, patiently observe what you felt, thought, and did. Examine those experiences to determine who was acting in you, and how those actors took control of your three brains.

Patiently, gradually, you will begin to see just how sneaky and strong the egos are, and how they manipulate the consciousness.

"With patience you will [once again] possess your souls..." - Jesus

...by taking control back from your ego.
