Samael Aun Weor states in his lecture Fire Cult...

¨All the brothers and sisters here present must never forget the fire. Each one of you must worship the fire. You must always have a lit candle in your home. The sacred flame must never be absent in the house of any initiate.¨

I understand this definitely has a metaphorical meaning, but I suspect he is advising we do this literally too. Am I mistaken?

If so, I would like some advice on how to do this in the safest way possible without burning the house down and possibly hurting somebody.

Thank You So Much

Some people use glass enclosed candles. Others use a small electric light, such as a bedside or night light.

Indeed, one should avoid burning down the house. :o

is this as effective as using a real flame on a candle? because the fire is what samael is lauding, right? so using an electric light.... would this be as beneficial?
