Chapter:

The Lunar Heaven

The individual Great Work is accomplished in the zodiacal dominion of the titanic Potencies...

The twelve labors of Heracles (a prototype of the authentic human) indicate and signify the secret path that must conduct us from the first to the last of the degrees of the perfect master and great elected one.

The capture and death of the lion of Nemea is the first of all the labors. This lion symbolizes the force of the instincts and the uncontrollable passions that consume and devour everything.

I was consciously and positively taken into the lunar world (or astral world) while in the state of ecstasy. Then, I was advised with infinite wisdom...

My soul was touched in its more intimate depths when I found there the elder of the temple of the twice-born. Our beloved rector, this sacred elder, certainly seemed to have all of the characteristics of a lemon, but it is clear that he irradiated infinite love...

I comprehended that in order to have the right to ascend into the lunar heaven (superior astral), I should first descend into the Selenean infernos (inferior astral) and courageously confront the three Furies...

Into my memory in the moments in which I write these lines comes the initiatic passage in which Gines de Lara, while guided by his master, contemplates the steely waters of the lake and is astonished ...

“Now look here!” exclaimed the mahatma...

Then, Gines looked, and his hair bristled when he saw two things that no mortal had ever seen; nonetheless, two things no less astonishing or less truthful...

He saw first, as if when looking through a gigantic telescope, the inhabitants of this side of the Moon, unhappy, disgraceful beings (without any exaggeration), whose nature and origin is a great mystery and kept among those who know all...

Then, he saw something even more marvellous: the secret of the other side of this satellite (in other words, that hemisphere which is always on the other side). It is a place from which this miserable planet Earth can never be seen, and therefore, where some mystic has wanted to situate the “Paradise of Enoch and Elias,” the two “Jinns” of the Hebrew people...

After this small digression, let us continue with the theme of this present chapter:

When I wanted to rise upon the symbolic ladder of Jacob, the sacred elder of the temple pulled out from the Tree of Knowledge, or, the Tree of the Science of Good and Evil, a delectable branch that he made me smell. Certainly, its fragrance was Nirvanic. “Thou must smell this branch in order for thou to rise.” Such were the words of the adept...

Unquestionably, we must practice the “Sahaja Maithuna,” to breath the delectable fragrance of the forbidden fruit, but not to eat it; this is the law...

I initiated my work by disintegrating Judas, the demon of desire, in the abyss of Selene...

It is not irrelevant to happily say with great assertion that thanks to the direct help of my “Divine Mother Kundalini” the horrifying demon of desire was reduced to ashes...

A little later on, I had to continue my work with the agitated demon of the mind, who brings us too much bitterness. This is the abominable Pilate of all times...

Annihilation! A terrible word... that was the catastrophic end of this fatal Pilate who was tormenting me...

Subsequently, I proceeded with my work in the abyss by attacking Caiaphas, the demon of evil will, the most disgusting of all the three existing classic Furies who are within the interior of each one of us...

Certainly, the third Fury died after receiving various thrusts with the lance in her body...

None of the Furies equalled her horrible appearance. None of them had as many serpents as she had in her mane; even these very sisters were afraid of her. This disgraceful one carried in her hands all the Gorgonian venoms of the infernos...

I could verify with complete, astonishing clarity the whole death process of the three Furies...

It is clear that they passed through all of the magical transformations, as recited by Ovid...

If in the beginning they were gigantic and horrible (as the monster Polyphemus from the damned land, who implacably devoured the companions of Ulysses), in the end, before the arrival of their sovereign death, they had the characteristics of newly born children...

Fortunately, these abominable shadows, these three traitors that I carried within, died...

Woe! Woe! Woe! What would have become of me without the help of my Divine Mother Kundalini?

I invoked my Mother from the depth of the abyss, and She grasped the lance of Eros...
