Sexual Karma

Our use of sex is a very powerful action. Remember from chapter one: the effects are always greater than the action that produced them. Sex harnesses the most intense energy within us, thus the results of sexual action are truly immense.

Sexual karma is a very potent form of cause and effect, since it is originated from the most potent energy we utilize: sexual energy. Each use of sexual energy has an unimaginable impact, and truly cannot be matched by any other expenditure of energy. What other action can create life? Sexual energy is the basis of life. Thus, the consequences for its use are far more extensive than any other action. This is why every religion in the world emphasized the importance of controlling our sexual energy.

The most painful forms of suffering are the consequences for abusing sexual energy. In most cases, these are sufferings of the heart, due to betrayal, adultery, rape, etc.

Unforgivable Karma

Fornication is the waste of sexual energy. This is the only form of karma that is not negotiable.

“All manner of sin may be forgiven except the sin against the Holy Spirit [Binah, nirmanakaya, the divine origin of sex].”

Sexual degeneration, fornication, cannot be forgiven because the karma must play itself out through pain. Fornication, the indulgence in self-willed pleasure, is paid only through pain.

Many illnesses, such as cancer, are caused by fornication.
