Greetings,
Hope you are all happy, joyful, and at peace. My Mom and I have a few questions about consecrating our seven-metal pentagrams.
We each have one but have yet to consecrate them.
1.) My Mom is wondering about the possible danger of the pentagram necklace representing the inverted pentagram when for example we lie down and the pentagram gets turned turned upside down. I had the same inquiry when I first got mine but soon brushed it off. My Mom is not wearing hers because of this doubt about it sometimes representing the inverted pentagram. At least she has it hanging over her bed. I told her that I was very pleased with her for not just believing and doing everything that I spiritually advise. If you could provide any information about the pentagram being upside down when for example lying down, we would appreciate it.
2.) I seem to remember reading directions on how to bless pentagram necklaces, and even had them bookmarked on my browser but am now getting the 404 page. Are the directions in chapter one of the Pistis Sophia the complete and only needed directions for consecration?
3.) Samael Aun Weor describes in the first chapter of Pistis Sophia how to consecrate the pentagram. When consecrating it with the four elements, are we just to pray the exorcism of each of the elements or is there more to that step than that?
4.) I suppose that we are just going to take five deep breaths and blow on the pentagram, then sprinkle it with a pure water that we have blessed with the sign of the cross, making it "ritual water," or is there more to this than that?
5.) We are to then dry the pentagram with the five perfumes. How long are we supposed to dangle the pentagram over the smoke of each perfume? Ten seconds, or more like ten minutes?
6.) We do not understand this quotation, "The name of Aleph and the sacred name of Thau must be uttered, united in the Kabbalistic name of Azoth." from the Pistis Sophia. Are we simply to say the words, "Aleph" and "Thau?"
7.) Can my Mom and I do this entire consecration together? It seems like we would gather more energy that way, consecrating both our pentagrams at the same time. If not, is it okay if I guide her through consecrating hers?
We have put off performing this ritual for so long because I knew that I had a lot of questions, but I am just making myself write down all of my questions. Apologies for the many questions. My Mom and I need all of the protection that we can get. If you could kindly advise us on these questions, we would much appreciate it. Be well.
Sincerely,
Adam and Karen
