Just as the best quality food and water makes us radiant and strong physically, food prepared through ritual makes us strong spiritually.
All of the founders of religions gave instructions for receiving spiritual strength through blessed food and drink:
Anyone can nourish themselves with blessed food and drink at home, even if they do not belong to a religion, church, or temple.
We call this ritual "eucharist" from Greek eukharistia "thanksgiving, gratitude."
Sexual purity, chastity, makes rituals like this possible. The retained and sublimated sexual energy is the basis of the power of the "magi," (root of the word "magician"), the priest or priestess. Through prayer, concentration, and visualization, the priest asks the universal christic force (Christ, Krishna, Avalokitesvara, etc) to fill the bread and symbolic wine with powerful energies to strengthen the consciousness. Without chastity, it is not possible for the priest to attract the necessary forces.
For the symbolic masculine element, you will need a grain, such as wheat, barley, corn, rice. Unleavened bread (that is, without yeast) is an easy option. Get the purest ingredients you can, such as organic, whole grain, etc. If you can make your own bread, that is even better. Here is a basic recipe that works wonderfully:
Boil the water.
In a bowl, combine honey and hot water and stir to dissolve.
Then combine 1 cup flour, salt, and olive oil to the honey water.
Sprinkle work surface with flour then knead for a few minutes until it is smooth - it doesn't need much kneading. Add extra flour if the dough is too sticky.
With your hands, shape into a flat disc about 1/4" thick.
Heat ½ tbsp olive oil in a non stick pan over medium-low heat - or even lower if you have a heavy based skillet.
Place flatbread in the pan, cook for around 5 minutes with a cover on the pan - then flip and cook the other side for about 3 minutes.
For the symbolic feminine element, use grape juice. Do not use alcohol. If possible, make your own juice from organic grapes that have seeds (commercial seedless grapes have little vitality). Simply blend or crush the grapes and strain.
For an altar, a small table is sufficient. Ideally, it is good for it to have a candle (or three), a pentagram, and a copy of The Gnostic Bible: The Pistis Sophia Unveiled, and perhaps statues or images of divinity, a prayer book, candles, water, flowers, etc. You can read more about altars here: How should I set up my home altar?

Place a small amount of the bread and symbolic wine on a clean, perfumed cloth.
Kneel and pray humbly for help from divinity. Specifically, ask for spiritual atoms of very high value to descend into the bread and symbolic wine, so that when you ingest them the atoms will fill you with strength, protection, insights, etc. These "atoms" are the substance we call "Christ," the universal wisdom fire of life also called Vishnu, Avalokitesvara, Chenresig, etc. [Learn more about Christ: Christ, the Mystery of Light].
The most powerful prayer for this practice is the “Our Father”:
"Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."
Pray each word carefully, consciously, reflecting on the meaning. You can also simply pray from your heart.
After your prayer, bless the bread and wine by making the sign of the cross over them. Place your left hand over your solar plexus, raise your right hand with the first three fingers raised and the last two folded, and make the sign of the cross, then a circle around the cross. [In his lecture The Master Key, Samael Aun Weor said it does not matter which direction you make the circle: "Everyone can do the cross inside of the circle as he wants: moving the hand from right to left or from left to right! That does not have any importance..."].
After the blessing, consume the bread and wine with great attention, prayerfulness, and humility, visualizing the charged elements filling you with the help you need.
Daily use of this rite strengthens the heart and consciousness with very powerful energies.
"The Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is [broken] for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.'" —Corinthians 11:23-25
"Except ye eat the body of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." - Yeshua (Jesus), John 6
