Niyama

The second step of yoga, which consists of:

• Saucha (purity, elimination of desire)
• Santosha (contentment with what one has)
• Tapas (austerities, spiritual practices)
• Svadhyaya (study of scriptures) 
• Ishvarapranidhana (continual remembrance of God)
