(Sanskrit) The Absolute; the Supreme Reality of Non-dualistic Vedanta.

Do not confuse Brahman with:

• Brahma, the Creator God, first of the trinity
• brāhmaņa (ब्राह्मण), "pertaining to prayer," a commentary on the Vedic mantras
• brāhmaņa (ब्राह्मण), priest; usually rendered in English as "Brahmin"
