New Website and Community

In 2025, we at Glorian recognized that our efforts to help humanity were being impeded by a range of obstacles that we needed to remove or transcend. We needed to change, so we meditated on this statement: 

When one moves to a higher level of the Being, one has to take a leap and abandon all the activities that one had in the inferior level of the Being. —Samael Aun Weor, The Revolution of the Dialectic

This applies to Glorian just as it applies to our individual lives.

Longing for Glorian to reach a higher level of operation in order to help more people, and inspired by the Aquarian spirit of revolution, we made an objective review of everything we offered, and without attachment or partiality, recognized all the activities we needed to abandon. That is why so many of our programs and offerings were closed or removed: to make room for new ones. 

We then were inspired by an entirely new way forward. As a result, there will be substantial changes to everything Glorian does. 

The Books

Glorian was founded to provide the books of Samael Aun Weor to everyone in the world. (Learn how this came to be.)

The books are our primary focus, and are the foundation of every change we have made.

We already created high-quality print editions of his books and they are available from any bookseller. However, due to shipping costs, they remain hard to get outside of the US. To ease this problem, we spent months creating beautiful ebook editions of all of the books. This makes the books easy to access by everyone in the world. The next step was to make our website glorian.org present the books more effectively. 

New Website

In 2005, Glorian started gnosticteachings.org (later changed to glorian.org), the first website to offer all of the teachings freely on the internet; previous to that, only bits of pieces could be found. For twenty years, the site expanded rapidly as we added weekly live lectures, 45 courses, a comprehensive glossary, and all of the books for free. By 2024, the site had become huge, with thousands of articles, but relied on outdated technology and design, and a weak search tool. The site was cumbersome and hard to use, and not very welcoming to beginners. Most people were accessing the site on mobile devices, and the site was not designed for that. 

Perhaps the main problem was that the site was no longer sharply focused on the books. There was too much content, and most of it was made by instructors, not Samael Aun Weor. Not all of his books were on the site, or they were incomplete, and none were up to date with the improvements and corrections made to the latest print editions.

And sadly, people seemed to have become identified with instructors, their lectures, the forum, etc. and as a result people were not studying the books. Some people began to imitate the instructors, believing that they had to give lectures like them. 

To address all of these problems and restore focus sharply on our core mission, we totally rebuilt glorian.org. 

As of this writing, the site is live but still undergoing improvements. 

Features of the new glorian.org:

  • The site has been rebuilt from the ground up. It is streamlined, modern, fast, and easy to navigate. It will get faster as we continue to work on it.
  • The design is crafted for phones and other small devices. This will also get better as we refine it.
  • Gnosis is about this moment, right now, not dead religions from the past. The images, design, and visual presentation are inspired by nature and life in the present moment. 
  • The content of the site is fully focused on the teachings of Samael Aun Weor, and is designed to encourage visitors to study his books rather than instructor content. It features the latest and best editions of all of his books in their entirety, free for anyone to study. It also features hundreds of his lectures, and a comprehensive glossary. Anyone who can access the internet can study his entire message for free, without ads, religious politics, "masters" to follow, or any restrictions or limitations.
  • All of our instructor-created courses and lectures have been moved to the Glorian Archive. The link is in the footer menu of the site. This is to de-emphasize their presence and perceived importance, while also preserving them for those who wish to study them. With the availability of the current technology, humanity no longer needs classrooms, instructors, or lectures. Humanity needs to study the doctrine of the Aquarian era, and the best source for that is Samael Aun Weor. With the books being easy to find and study now, the role of instructors is no longer necessary as it once was. This is a wonderful change, because it frees the student from the limitations of lectures and the many flaws of instructors, who are imperfect, and who are not at the level of Being of Samael Aun Weor. 
  • The "Ask an Instructor" forum has been closed. It will be replaced by:

New Community

Coming later in 2025.

We are developing a new app-based community that is focused on developing practical skills. From our app on your phone or computer you will be able to access live groups, courses, and events. 

There will be no instructors or lectures. Instead, there will be a community infused with an Aquarian culture that is engaging and fresh, and is focused on effective daily meditation practice.

This new community shifts the focus from instructors to you, the student. Rather than lectures and theoretical content, the new community is designed to help you experience the teachings for yourself.

We are now using a much better donation method: Donorbox. We encourage all donors to switch to this new tool. 

Incredibly, in 2024 Glorian only received donations from around 300 people. So far, 2025 looks to be the same. This underscores how important each individual donation is. Glorian is truly in a "David and Goliath" battle. Glorian is a very tiny non-profit, supported by a very tiny group of donors, yet we are waging a battle that is resounding all over the world.
