Transfiguration by William Blake

Jeshua (יהשוה) the Son of Man, Our Cosmic Duty, and Immortality

“And as Moses (the beatiful יפת) lifted up the serpent (פתן) in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.” – John 3: 14

Beloved brothers and sisters: Jesus, the divine rabbi of Galilee, as he passed through the planet Earth, also told us:

“The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.” – Matthew 8: 20

Well, what is the Son of man? We read that constantly in the Christian gospel, but what is the Son of man? Is there anyone who has ever defined what the Son of man is? In order to clarify this, it is necessary, my dear brothers and sisters, to comprehend the mystery of the conception by the Holy Spirit.

Our Cosmic Duty

First of all, it is good to know that the Logos is triune; it is necessary to understand that from the central sun or sacred absolute sun, emanates the eternal Okidanock, omnipresent, omnipenetrating, omniscient. Since the eternal Okidanock needs to carry out its crystallizations in the world, it must express itself in some way.

The eternal Okidanock originates the worlds, remains involved in the worlds, but is not enclosed, not imprisoned within them. The eternal Okidanock is what the master Helen Petrovna Blavatsky rightly called "the great breath, profoundly unknowable to itself." That eternal Okidanock is, I repeat, the emanation of the sacred absolute sun. However, for its manifestation, it undoubtedly needs to do so with wisdom: it expresses itself with the holy three, it manifests itself with the Holy Triamatzikamno, that is, with the trimurti of all religious theogonies, call it Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva; call it Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are the three modes of manifestation of the eternal Okidanock, omnipresent, omnipenetrating.

In nature we know these three forces as: positive, negative, and neutral; holy affirming, holy denying, holy conciliating.

It is obvious that the first force is expressed in a completely incipient form in those creatures that only possess one brain. It is unquestionable that the second, that is expressed in the same way in those creatures that have two brains, but the intellectual animal mistakenly called human, has three brains; the humanoid could express the three forces if it fulfilled its cosmic duty.

We must always clarify this: you must understand that your cosmic duty is to make yourselves cognizant of the activity of the five cylinders of the organic machine, which are: intellectual center, motor center, emotional center, instinctual center and sexual center. If we become fully cognizant of the activities of each of the five centers of our machine, we eventually achieve full expression of the three primary forces of the cosmos and of nature in ourselves. Fulfilling the duty of making ourselves cognizant is something great; something that in the long run leads us to the intimate self-realization of the Being. Thus, my dear brothers and sisters, by comprehending that we have three important brains and that the three primary forces of nature must express themselves through us, we can clearly focus on the subject of the Son of man.

Normally, the forces of the divine trimurti only express themselves through us in the form of the eternal common cosmic trogoautoegocrat, that is, that terrible law that consists in swallowing and being swallowed, that is, mutual and reciprocal feeding of all organisms.

All the forces that exist in the cosmos come from the three primary forces; such primary forces enter our three brains, and we automatically transform them and transmit them to the interior layers of the planetary organism in which we live. Thus, each one of us is a necessary machine for the economy of nature. Ceasing to be a machine is extremely important. Retaining in us the three primary forces is essential, and we can achieve it if we fulfill the duty of making ourselves cognizant of each and every one of the activities of the five cylinders of our organic machine.

The Intellectual Center

This is very important. Unfortunately, we don't know how to use it: we read a book from cover to cover in a few hours and then we exclaim: "I already read it, isn't there another one out there?" Then we read another one and we say again: "it's interesting, but won't there be another one?" We have definitely ruined the intellectual center. The mind of human beings is in a state of decrepitude; it is degenerated.

In Lemuria, when human beings studied a book, they did it with full consciousness. At that time, letters were sacred. No one committed a paragraph exclusively to memory. No one entrusted the content of a book to the deposit of memory. We know well that memory fails, and therefore, what we have deposited there, what we have recorded there, sooner or later is lost. The Lemurians studied each paragraph with the consciousness, they turned it into consciousness, they experienced it in the superior worlds of cosmic consciousness; they never moved on to the second paragraph without becoming fully aware of the first paragraph. They could spend many years studying a book, perhaps spend a lifetime to get to know a book. They did not rely on the intellectual center. They did not deposit knowledge in memory. They used the cognitive power of the consciousness. They made the knowledge contained in the book cognizant. They experienced it and experienced it. For this reason they worshiped the book, placed it on the altars, worshiped it. Today it causes pain to see people supposedly "studying" the books.

Many have taken the book The Mystery of the Golden Flower and have read it in a few hours, then exclaim: "I already read it, I already know it, is there another one?" See what degenerate minds, what a state of decrepitude! In order to write this book I spent entire mahamanvantaras. I had to live terrible and painful experiences, and yet, many pretend to know it in a few hours. Behold the state of decrepitude in which the human mind finds itself. Therefore, making ourselves cognizant of the activities of the intellect is essential.

The Motor Center

We now come to the motor center located in the upper part of our spinal cord. How much this center has been abused in sport! Let's remember Garrincha, for example, from Brazilian soccer, everyone knows that he had to be operated on, no one is unaware of that. Soccer players, runners, are short-lived, as they waste the forces of the motor center. Undoubtedly, they are unconscious abusers.

We have to become cognizant of all our acts, of our habits, of all our movements, if we really yearn to one day reach the intimate self-realization of the Being.

The Center of Emotions

This center, whose focal point resides in the solar plexus, has been the victim of many abuses by a humanity eager for strong emotions. It is pushed to madness in the shows, in the bullrings, in the stadiums, to a crazy frenzy. What a lack of control.

We must be aware of the activities of the emotional center, we must control this center through our will, only then will we march on the path of self-realization.

Instinctual Center

The instinctual center is located in the lower part of the spine. Instinct is a counterpart to intuition. It is not irrelevant to say that humanity has allowed itself to be carried away by bad instincts, also called low instincts. The self-preservation instinct, for example, has degenerated into fear. Many kill due to fear. Entire nations go to war due to fear; they arm themselves for fear that another nation will wipe them out. The brave man does not arm himself because he is not afraid. The one who arms himself does so because he is a coward; he disguises his fear with a gun or a knife. So, we need to become aware of the instinctive center: eat what is necessary and do not be a glutton. Use the sexual instinct wisely, without abusing it, etc.

The Center of Sex

As for the sexual center, how much have we talked about? How that energy is abused, how few are those who accept sexual transmutation.

People prefer to spend, to squander the Ens Seminis, the entity of the semen, as Paracelsus said; within it is found all the Ens Virtutis of fire.

When one begins to transmute, when one really descends to the ninth sphere, when the great work of the Father begins, then the principle of the Son of man actually originates.

The Son of Man

tree of life crown of life

Unquestionably, the cosmic Christ is the second Logos, emanating from the Father. Obviously from the central sun or sacred absolute sun emanates the eternal Okidanock, omnipresent and omnipenetrating; but from that eternal Okidanock, from that great breath, as the great master Helena Petrovna Blavatsky said, emanates or arises the father, Brahma, the first Logos, and from him, in turn, by splitting asunder, becomes the second Logos, the Cosmic Christ, and finally, the third Logos arises, a force derived from the second; this third Logos is the Holy Spirit; behold, my dear brothers and sisters, the theosophical trimurti, the creative logoi.

Said Logos is deeply spoken about in all esoteric and occult schools, but what is not comprehended is the mystery of conception. Unquestionably, the third Logos, Lord Shiva, splits asunder, let's say, in the Divine Mother Kundalini, the feminine shakti potential; it is obvious that between Shiva and his wife, also called Parvati or Durga, there is love; they form the divine, original couple, the divine duad.

When a couple works in the forge of the Cyclops, the first thing that vibrates intensely, it is clear, is the physical element Prithvi. Unquestionably, the vibration continues with the aqueous element, with Apas, with the Ens Seminis. It continues with the Vayu element, the principle of air, there is a certain transformation in the breath, and then Tejas, the sacred fire, manifests itself in the dorsal spine of the aspirants. But it doesn't stop there; there is a deeper consequence, which causes the akasha tattva, the ether principle, to tremble, and then the spiritual soul, which is feminine, and the human soul, which is masculine, also work in erotic union, yearning for self-realization. But akasha is not the ultimate, it is just a source that leads to Anupadaka tattva. It is in the region of Anupadaka where Shiva and Shakti become love and work; between them there is also a sexual union; this would be a sacrilege for certain fanatical sects, but it is a tremendous reality for the esotericist.

The second Logos takes advantage precisely of the metaphysical copulation of Shiva and Shakti, to descend from their elevated region. The vibration that reaches him is so fine that he decides to take advantage of it and then penetrates into the most pure womb of the divine cosmic mother, in the same way that a ray of light passes through a glass without breaking it, nor staining it, and she remains a virgin in childbirth and after childbirth and that beautiful creature is born: the second Logos, the cosmic Christ, Osiris Ra, descends from his elevated logoic region to become her son, the infant Christ, the little Horus (gold) or golden child of sexual alchemy, Jeshuah, which means savior, our particular intimate savior, Christ, in the transcendental sense of the word, Vishnu turned into a child. And it is his first attempt to descend from his high sphere to this world of flesh and blood, and thus the Son of man begins to be formed.

Unquestionably, the first thing that we must crystallize within ourselves, as I told you in the last talk we had, is the third Logos, the Holy Spirit, because first of all we need to reconcile ourselves with God. I have already told you that the first force is the holy affirmation; the second, the holy denying; and the third, the holy conciliation. We need to start by reconciling ourselves with God and this is only possible by crystallizing the third Logos in us.

It is obvious, my dear brothers and sisters, that when one manages to crystallize the sexual hydrogen Si-12 in the splendid and marvelous form of the astral body, one has taken the first step in the crystallization of the third Logos. Much later one must crystallize that same sexual hydrogen, that same sexual force of the Holy Spirit in the body of the mind, in the extraordinary and marvelous form of the body of the mind, the mental body; behold a second crystallization. Then comes the third crystallization with the causal body. By forming within us the golden embryo, we crystallize what we have as a human soul; when crystallizing or incarnating within us buddhi and atman, we carry out new crystallizations of a sexual type; but all these crystallizations, all these crystallization processes reach their maximum when we reach the resurrection.

So yes, my dear brothers and sisters, the third Logos remains completely crystallized in us, converted into an authentic human, a legitimate human, a true human.

It would be useless for us to incarnate the third Logos, if we do not crystallize it, for example, it would be as much as filling a glass of water that is about to evaporate or be permanently lost; if it crystallizes, if it turns into ice, it remains in the glass. What we need is to crystallize the third Logos in us; when we achieve complete crystallization, then he manifests in us and through us with all his powers. That is the moment in which we are reconciled with God, that is why the third Logos, the Holy Spirit, is called the great comforter.

Much later in time, we must crystallize in ourselves the second Logos, the one who descended from the elevated solar region to become the son of the cosmic mother; when we have achieved it, we become true living Christs; behold the solar human, the human Christ, the Son of man. And it is said the Son of man, because it is through the work in the forge of the Cyclops that this process of christification begins, which comes to a definitive culmination with the complete crystallization of the Christ in us, that is, with christification. Overall, if it weren't for that work, he wouldn't descend from the high sphere where he normally lives; it is our work that makes him descend towards crystallization, until he finally becomes an authentic human, a legitimate human, a true human. The son of whom? Of the man, the Son of man's work; therefore, he is the Son of man. Behold, brothers and sisters, the meaning of what the Son of man is.

The great enlightened ones can perfectly perceive the cosmic Christ when he descends from his elevated region to become the son of that humble Divine Mother; In Christian language it is said to become the son of a woman named Mary. Son of his daughter, have you seen anything more wonderful? Son of his daughter; because she is a sunderable part of the third Logos, who is a sunderable part of the second Logos, which is the Christ; therefore, he descends and becomes the son of his sunderable part, his daughter, and this is sublime.

The great enlightened ones can see him when he descends from that elevated region; he is then a child in the arms of his mother. As the initiate advances in his esoteric degrees, as he eliminates the ego, such a child grows esoterically, advancing in age, until he becomes an authentic human, a human of flesh and blood, a real human, Son of man's work, that is why he is called the Son of man. As Jesus said so: the Son of man.

Immortality

Arriving, then, to form the Christ in us is what is important, my dear brothers and sisters and it is what we must not forget, however we need to start somewhere, we need to see the crude reality, the situation in which we find ourselves. Let us look at the millions of human beings that populate the face of the Earth, they have no reality. What's in them? A physical body, yes, a vital body or a lingam sarira that serves as a seat for organic functions; that is true and more than the essence we would say, yes, it is very sublime but it is bottled up among all that legion of "I's" that form the ego among themselves, and at the time of death, what is really what continues, what survives?

If we approach this matter judiciously, we realize that since human beings have not manufactured an astral body, they do not have the astral personality. After you die, what's next? Is there anything that can continue? If we develop our higher faculties, we can observe for ourselves, and experience for ourselves the process of dying.

When someone dies, one goes out looking for that someone in the internal worlds and what is found? You will find that someone who died, that person who died, obviously you don't find them, what you find is a bunch of devils. Of that beloved person, who existed on Earth, what was done? He ceased to exist, why? Because they did not have an astral personality, what one finds there, in those regions, is a bunch of sleeping ghosts, unconscious, that come and go, they are legion, but what has become of the person? It ceased to exist, did anything survive? What could survive if he didn't have another personality? The only one she had died, so what could survive? What is left of that personality? A great subtraction has been made, yes, the only thing we can find, what we could say, that a lot of sleeping, unconscious ghosts continue, that come and go, of different shapes and figures, some of them assume during the first days that aspect of the macabre and horrible pantheon, others, figures of youth or old age, figures that are simply animalistic, brutal, or definitely devilish, satanic, but the person, what has become of the person?

Much is said about immortality, everyone believes they are immortal, when they are pseudo-esotericists, pseudo-occultists; my dear brothers and sisters, immortality is something that must be achieved, not everyone has it.

If one allows himself the luxury of creating an astral body, it is obvious that after death he continues to exist with one or another personality, one continues to exist with a second personality, one loses his physical personality, that is obvious, but one continues with another personality, the astral personality, a perfectly defined personality. It is said of such individuals that they have conquered immortality in the astral world.

As an example, the case of my friend Sivananda from India. After his disincarnation, I interviewed him. I found him with a completely defined personality, a resplendent, beautiful astral body, a complete human, self-cognizant, without ego, without "I devils", a human with whom we were able to talk face to face. "How happy you must feel when you disincarnate with a Mahasamadhi".

He told me, “Yes, I felt happy”. And we sat down to talk; a human with a strong, vigorous, but astral, defined personality. He did not mind having lost his physical personality, now he continued immortal with another personality, with an astral personality. I saw in him something that could survive, he had another personality that could continue, and continues with him completely self-cognizant. He had conquered immortality in the astral world.

But in the case of individuals who have not fabricated the astral personality, what can continue in them, of that personality? Well, nothing. Listen carefully, there's nothing left, so what's that over there, what is it? It's a bunch of devil "I's" of nature, but that's no longer the person. The law of eternal return brings those values to a new reincorporation, it is a fact and it is done not because of those "devil selves", but to give the essence a chance, which is the only worthy thing, the only decent thing that we carry inside.

Now, immortality in the world of the mind, who has it? Only those who could create a mental body for their own use. I can't explain frankly, I don't comprehend how people like Mr. Leadbeater, like Annie Besant, dare to say that all human beings have a mental body. Between parenthesis, I appreciate Mr. Leadbeater, he is a master, I do not deny it, if I denied it, it would be absurd. Of course, he did not write everything he knew either, he worked in the forge of the Cyclops, he is a master, a master who has a perfectly defined astral personality. Unfortunately, it was not the time to talk, he had to keep quiet a lot; he wrote some mistakes, yes, which are forgivable, who doesn't err? We all have the right to err, but what is wrong is that he emphatically stated that all human beings have a mental body.

When we enter the world of the mind, what do we discover, what do we see in that region? The earthly Jerusalem, the mental counterpart of the streets, of the canteens, of the cafes, of the bars and public squares, of the banks and all the filth of the human mind. What else do you see there? The demons of the mind keep different forms and are busy in each other's activities, in their desires, in their greed, but how few are those who have a personality in the body of the mind. In order to have a personality in the world of the cosmic mind, it is necessary to have created a mental body. Only those who have created a mental body have a mental personality, and only those who possess it have achieved immortality in the mental world.

We go even further, into the world of natural causes. When we enter that region, we see millions of souls, yes, we would say: "how beautiful", yes, but they are not incarnated, why? Because they have no vehicles, they are united by the antakarana, yes, people who live here in this world of flesh and blood, but they are not within those people. In order to acquire authentic, definitive immortality, a causal body must have been manufactured in the world of natural causes or the world of the cognizant will. Whoever has made a causal body for oneself has in fact acquired a causal personality, in fact has become a causal human, a human with a causal personality. Whoever achieves immortality in that region, definitively attains it in all worlds, definitively in all regions of the infinite. Why? Because the causal body belongs to the world of the spirit. Through this,  buddhi and atman and even Logos itself can be frankly expressed.

Reaching absolute immortality is only possible in the world of natural causes; such immortality is only achieved when a causal body is manufactured, then a causal personality is possessed that gives us immortality.

Thus, immortality, my dear brothers and sisters, is something that must be achieved; everyone believes that they have it, but they don't, it must be achieved by manufacturing the superior existential bodies of the Being.

All schools speak about the personality, but we have four; not all human beings have them. All of us who have manufactured the superior existential bodies of being have them. The physical personality goes to the pantheon, but if we have fabricated an astral body, we continue with the fully cognizant astral personality, we can leave the astral personality and we would then continue with the mental personality, and we could leave the mental personality and we would then continue to exist with the causal personality. In fact, it already belongs to the world of the spirit; through it divinity is clearly expressed.

There are therefore four types of personality: the physical, the astral, the mental and the causal. Believing that the physical personality is the only one is completely false, there are four types of personalities and whoever wants to achieve immortality must have these four types of personality.

So, we are approaching things as they are, clearly and without ambiguity; a lot of devils continue beyond the grave, that is not immortality, that those devils return, return, reincorporate themselves, that is not immortality, immortality my dear brothers and sisters, is something that we must conquer. Only someone who has truly conquered immortality can one day become the living expression of the Intimate Christ, only someone who has conquered authentic immortality, who has truly become a human, knows what the Son of man is and finally, it is necessary that the Son of man remains incarnated in the human personality, and something more than incarnated him, that is, he must crystallize in each one of us.

We need to become living Christs, to one day be able to free ourselves, emancipate ourselves, return to the sacred absolute sun. That is what the sacred absolute sun wants, and we must collaborate with the sacred absolute sun. That is what the sacred absolute sun wants. That is our duty.

We start by becoming cognizant of ourselves, by awakening consciousness, by becoming fully cognizant of all the activities of the five cylinders of our organic machine. Then we will continue progressively along the path that will lead us to final liberation.

It is therefore necessary that you clarify all this, brothers and sisters, that you become cognizant of all this.

In these times we are insisting quite a lot on the need to awaken consciousness, because only by waking up will you be able to see, to see what I am saying, only by waking up will you be able to firmly tread the path of the razor's edge, only by waking up will you be able to get out of that state in which you are, of ambiguity and lukewarmness. Only by waking up will you be able to know what the Son of man is.

It is necessary to wake up my dear brothers and sisters, to start the path, that is precisely where we are right now, fighting for that awakening.

So ends tonight's talk.

Questions and Answers

Disciple: Jesus, was he really the son of the Holy Spirit and of Mary?

Samael Aun Weor: The gospel must be understood from the esoteric point of view, here we are speaking between esotericists.

Jesus is Horus. Jesus is the second Logos. When he becomes the son of the Divine Mother kundalini, she conceives him by the work and grace of the Holy Spirit through a metaphysical copulation in the tattva Anupadaka, that is, he is the son of the Holy Spirit and of her; understand the gospel from the esoteric point of view. We are going to put aside the dead letter [the literal interpretation], the letter that kills; let us look for the spirit that vivifies and gives life, understood?

Disciple: The essence, the budhata, is immortal, that it has not reached the higher planes of consciousness, that is obvious, but if the budhata is eternal, immortal and is part of our being, it is what we are, the little consciousness that possess, can we say that the mind does not exist in that aspect?

Samael Aun Weor: You are looking for ways to comfort yourself. You do not want to cease to exist. All human beings, deep down, are afraid of annihilation. The truth is that the buddhata is not the [terrestrial] personality. Once the personality is dead, can life continue? With personality? The budhata is the budhata, it is the essence, it is bottled up inside a bunch of devils, it is not the person that one loved , that we met on earth, that one ceased to exist, nothing was left of that one, only a multitude of "I's devils" continues...
