HI,

Holding one thought for a longer period is quite hard without a meditation practice, nearly impossible maybe. But slowly but surly when a meditation practice is estalblshed is seems that holding one thought is more easy and also quite pleasing in a good way.

My questions is about aquiering knowlege about anything that you set your mind or one clear thought of a problem, a solution or anything that you will.

Is the practice of acquiering knowlege "as easy" as holding a thought for a longer time ? observing and be neutral to thought that comes up when holding the thought you set your mind to, so the aquiering of knowlege is the "new" thought or thoughts that comes up ?

Is it so that the practice of holding a thought is a described practice we can learn more about ? I dont know so mutch about it but when i have had experience with this and hold thought for a longer period, new thought comes in as anwers to the problem.
