Personally, I prefer to pronounce mantras mentally versus physically vocalising them. Obviously, pronouncing them mentally I can be chanting the mantra while around other people at work, ect. ect. and no one knows I'm chanting the mantras. I have found through my own experience that they help immensely with training mindfulness, self-observation, self-remembering, especially when combined with visualization of the energy vibrating in the different centers related with those parts of the body, ect. My question is is there any benifits that I am missing out on by only vocalising the mantras mentally? The mantra I have been working with most recently is Egipto, in order to develop the glands and organs that will help with astral projection as well as the other faculties that are awakening when we energize these organs and glands, as explained by Samael Aun Weor in The Seven Words. Personally I feel my thyroid gland, pineal gland, and heart activated just by pronouncing this mantra mentally while vizualising these centers being activated by energy in the form of light throughout my day. Can pronouncing this mantra mentally activate these organs and glands just as much as when vocalized physically? Or are there certain mantras that are meant to be vocalized physically and not mentally?
I believe in the lecture "Christ, Mantra, Mind Protection" the instructor said that pronouncing mantras in the mental plane is more powerful.
