I'm preparing an article linking astronomy and prehistoric art. Currently doing research on Orion, I was wondering if there's a link between this constellation and Geburah. The hebrews called Orion Gibbor, meaning the Giant, and Gibbor is the same root as Geburah. Furthermore the Syrians knew Orion as Gabbara; the Arabians as Al Jabbar, both signifying 'the Giant', Gigas, giant, the Greek title for Orion with Ptolemy. I'm wondering if there's a know link in kabbalah between Orion and Geburah...
