Is ham sah primarily visualization and concentration? Ive noticed that the way i do it either doesn't work. I've mainly put the emphasis on trying to feel the energy moving up the spine and have excluded visualization. Is this wrong? Am i not suppose to use my mind to create a feeling of rising energy up the spine?
At this point i can feel a sensation going up my spine but i doubt that has anything to do with how this is suppose to work. So is this practice primarily centered on visualization and concentration? To be more specific, when i inhale and "imagine" the energy going up ida and pingala(while mentally saying ham),i am only visualizing the energy and syncing the image with the mantra and my breath? Am i not suppose to actively try and feel the energy physically? Is it only visualization synced with the mantra and the breath?
I ask because at this point i don't understand what I'm even doing i don't feel any benefits from this practice at all even after doing it for a while. I committed my to master this practice specifically because it was the first practice of transmutation i have ever attempted to do.
