This is an addendum question to a thread that I accepted the answer of from Gnostic Instructor KH.

Notwithstanding, I still accept KH's answer in regards to the idea of Universal Salvation. However a part of KH's response makes me wonder further, in regards to a part of KH's quote....
Only with conscious works can we reach true Salvation and Final Liberation. Salvation is not mechanical. God is not a tyrant and we all have the choice to not work on ourselves.
While I agree with that point generally, however I can't help but wonder and seriously question....
Does God's Will reign supreme or can "Our" (when I say Our I mean Man's) free will thwart it?
Surely this can not be, How can we, thwart the will of our creator and at the self same not even realize it? I can see us being blinded from the start by deception and non-willingness to wake up. I always thought and found comfort in God's power always overcoming and proving him/herself supreme that even in the end all would come to pass in accordance to the Divine Plan.
Which makes re-think of the original ideas of God's desires of according to Christian Bible teachings; 1.) That God shall reconcile all things to himself. and 2.) That God desires for all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth.
While I still sincerely believe KH's response to the source question on this, but in all honesty, can we in good faith still know that God's will shall ultimately prevail or is that something that can never be known and can only be taken solely on faith?
Thank you, and I look forward to your anticipated response.
