Hypostasis

The Hypostasis of the Bodhisattva and the Bodhichitta within the Body of Liberation

"For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together." - Matthew 24:27, 28

Let us explain about the Hypostasis of the Heavenly Man who is the Bodhisattva, and the Earthly Man which is in Sanskrit or in Buddhism is the Bodhichitta from the Christian, from the Gospel's point of view.

Remember that this series of lectures are related with Christianity and Buddhism, and when we enter into the topic of Christianity, we have to go to the Tree of Life (Kabbalah), the very root of the Gospels, in order to comprehend the four Gospels in the Bible, and any of those Gospels that are called apocryphal (which are now very popular).

To begin, Hypostasis, Gnostically speaking, is the capacity to produce a union of the Soma Psuchikon (Soma is "body" in Greek, and Psuchikon means "the image-soul" of the psychological work that we are performing) with the Soma Pneumatikon. Again here Soma is "body," pneuma in Greek means "spirit," and ikon is "image." This is precisely what the Bodhisattva who enters into the Direct Path is trying to achieve: the union of the Soma Psuchikon with the Soma Pneumatikon. This is explained by the Apostle Paul (who was and is the Master Hilarion); he explains in synthesis in Corinthians 15 about this mystery, which is an alchemical and kabbalistic transformation that the initiate has to perform in him or herself.

Paul states in Corinthians 15:44-49:

"It is sown a natural body (Soma Psuchikon - Psychic body – Soul-Image Body); it is raised a spiritual body (Soma Pneumatikon –Spirit-Image Body). There is a Soul-Image Body, and there is a Spirit-Image Body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is Spiritual, but that which is Psychic; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly (the Pneuma). And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly."

Behold here that we have said "bear" (to be pregnant with).

This is important to inquire into. Most Christian fundamentalists think that we are the earthly man, or the first Adam (the Soma Psuchikon), but in Corinthians 15 the Apostle Paul is speaking directly to the Initiates, to the Alchemists. The Soma Psuchikon has to emerge from us, or the body of the soul, the soul-body, which is something that you acquire when you transmute the sexual libido, because this is precisely what Genesis is all about; remember that the book of Genesis is the book of "generation," the generation of the internal man (the soul-man). This was the whole purpose of Moses in writing the book of Genesis: to indicate how to create the man within into the image of God. Thus, in Genesis it is stated that Adam was a living soul, and thereafter that Adam became a quickening spirit.

Notwithstanding, we have to emphasize that the first Adam (the Soma Psuchikon) doesn't exist yet; this is precisely the great mistake of the philosophers, the religious people who read the bible literally. They think that the first Adam (the Soma Psuchikon) that the Bible talks about is already within this humanity that populates the whole earth; yet, this is incorrect.

Through evolution, as you know, the Buddhata come here, we (as soul-embryos) are alive physically, but in other lectures we explain that the Tzalem (in Hebrew Tzalem means "image"), which is the image of God (with which we can build the Soma Psuchikon) abides in potentiality within the sexual energy.

Physically, we come from the sexual energy, we are generated by the sexual energy; further, the psychological man (the Soma Psuchikon) that the bible talks about and that Paul is referring in 1 Corinthians 15:49 is not the physical man that we know, but a psychological entity that has to appear through Alchemy and through psychological work, that we explain in different lectures, through Buddhism and Christianity.

When we investigate the sexual genes, or that which in science is called genotype (the inheritance of our parents, or the inheritance that is in the sperm and the ovum) you find there that through the genotype we inherit the psychological characteristics of our parents, and even the physical features. But we ignore that within our sperm and ovum is also the spiritual and psychological inheritance of that which we call God, the Monad. So when in Gnosticism we talk about the second birth, or that statement that Jesus of Nazareth says to Nicodemus, that we have to be born again, we don't take that statement as the fundamentalists think, that you will be born again just by believing or reading, memorizing the Gospels. That second birth that is stated in different places, in a kabbalistic and alchemistic way in the bible, is something sexual in which we have to apply our sexual energy, to transmute, to extract that Tzalem; the Tzalem of God, which is of course his own image.

Remember that God is not physical, it is an entity which is everywhere, but that crystallizes in the sexual force in order to generate his own image. So right now for instance, since we ignored the process in order to extract the image of God (in order to make that man into his own image, or that human being into his own image) we didn't develop it because that image is psychological not physical. Thus, we have not developed it, instead, we just have the human physical appearance and psychological appearance of that which we call the animal or the beast (in other lectures we talk about this.)

Through evolution we inherit the psychological and physical characteristics of our parents, and these are related with what we call the protoplasmic bodies. Let us put an example to go further into the understanding of this statement. The sperm and the ovum, when they connect, form the first cell of 48 chromosomes (2 vital or ethereal chromosomes, and 46 physical); each chromosome has about one hundred or more genes. In those genes we have the inheritance, or in the genes is where the inheritance, the vibration, the psychological vibration of our parents and our own particular vibration is connected. The genes remain connected to the protoplasmic bodies, that which is the mind and the emotion. Within that mind and that emotion is where we have that which we call the ego.

When we talk about the psychological aggregates, the ego, we have to understand that this is protoplasmic, a molecular, atomic entity with which we think and we feel, and that is a mechanical thing or element that belongs to minerals, plant, animals; it means it is in nature, it is lunar, mechanical. But when we arrive at the level of intellectual animal in which we are, then we have the opportunity, as we know from Gnosis, to extract that image of God, that icon or Tzalem (as we say in Hebrew) in order to elaborate the Bodhichitta. The image of God is made within, and this is something that has to be created first in order to walk the path of the Bodhisattva. That is related with the statement, "You have to be born again," as Jesus said to Nicodemus. That birth is an actual transformation that little by little you perform as you transmute your sexual energy in accordance to the rules of Alchemy, or as the bible says, the mysteries of Daath.

So the true man, or the human being that the bible talks about, has seven bodies: the physical body, the ethereal body, the emotional body, the mental body, the body of will, the body of consciousness and the spiritual body. But this man that we are discussing here, I repeat, is psychological; even his physical body is psychological, is soul, is psyche.

There is something that we have to explain here, because we presently have three brains, the intellectual brain in our head, the emotional brain in our heart and navel, and the instinctual/motor/sexual brain related with movements and instincts and sexual activity. The psychological man that we have to create has to be also related with these three aspects in order for the three primary forces of the universe to manifest through him. And in order to create this, as you know already, in Gnosticism we always explain about the absorption of the Tzalem of God; that Tzalem or image of God is what in Christianity is called the Holy Spirit, and which in Kabbalah is called Jehovah-Elohim, that in the book of Genesis states he created the man into his own image.

Jehovah-Elohim in accordance to Kabbalah is the name of God attributed to Binah, which is understanding and comprehension. Binah manifests through Yesod, which is the sexual energy. It is stated there in the book of Genesis that Jehovah-Elohim creates the man, but in order for that image of God or that human being to emerge within each one of us, we have to extract that image which is in the sexual matter. The only energy that can create is the sexual energy, and we have to comprehend that the sexual energy works in different octaves.

We think that the sexual energy is only related with the physical body, but it is not: the sexual energy is related with the seven bodies and beyond. Nothing can exist without that power-energy or powerful energy of the Holy Spirit, Binah.

So, as we transmute the sexual energy through sexual alchemy, through Sahaja Maithuna, the energy of the Holy Spirit is rising (as we Gnostically know and as we explain in different lectures) in the spinal column. The risen energy is precisely what in Sanskrit is called Kundalini. The energy of the Holy Spirit, or Kundalini, rises in the spinal column and is creating, elaborating the psychological man, the Soma-Psuchikon, the Bodhichitta. Of course this process is not only sexual transmutation, it implies a psychological work that is explained in many books and we explain in different lectures. We explain that the elaboration of the Bodhichitta starts even if you are single, but if you are married of course it is accelerated, because the two polarities male-female increase the development of that Bodhichitta, when we are working of course psychologically and sexually in chastity, scientific chastity.

So, in the process of the rising or the elaboration of the psychological man within each one of us (remember that when we say "man" we are referring to the manas, the superior mind, in Sanskrit. We are not pointing at the male sex, but the manas, the mind that could exist in the female or male body). So when the energy of the physical body rises from the coccyx to the brain, then a transformation of the psyche occurs in the person. The spirit and the psyche are united. But that psyche and that spirit abide in a higher dimension. Here in the physical plane, the initiate starts to elaborate what we call the body of liberation. The body of liberation is a body, a physical body, but it does not belong to the three dimensional world. The body of liberation is a body that is being formed as the chick is being formed within the egg, in the shell. The process or elaboration of the body of liberation is physical and psychological.

We explained in previous lectures about the four ethers of the vital body, which is a superior part of the physical body. We explained that when the second serpent rises in the ethereal body and then we elaborate the body of gold. This body of gold is the superior part of the body of liberation, and that they integrate without confusion within the fourth dimension. So that is something that is occurring inside, you see; this is what we call the Hypostasis. Being physical here in this physical world, the three dimensional world, through sexual transmutation you are being born inside within the superior part of the physical body, which is the ethereal body. So the body of liberation, which is physical, is made of flesh, but not flesh that comes from Adam, this Adam, this sinning Adam that is fallen, that is related with present humanity. Remember that this humanity fell from Eden, in other words, this humanity fell from that Edenic state. Now with the process of Alchemy we create again, we are being born again little by little.

So the body of gold is the ethereal body that is formed with the two superior ethers: the luminous ether and the reflective ether. These two ethers are making that which we call the body of gold. And that body of gold integrates with the body of liberation, but this psychological man needs more development, it needs of course an emotional part, so within that body of liberation (in the fifth dimension) evolves and is created (after the creation of the body of gold, which is the ethereal body) that which occultists and esotericists call the astral solar body.

That astral solar body is called the child of gold, or the golden child. That child of gold, or golden child, is precisely our own particular individual Jesus Christ. Notwithstanding, the body of liberation has also the same appearance or the same features of the Rabbi of Galilee, Jesus of Nazareth. It is a body that is being formed within the fourth dimension, but this body of liberation needs also, as I said, the emotional part of it which is superior. This (superior body) was explained in the previous lecture related with the transfiguration of the Bodhisattva.

Of course, this body of liberation also needs a mind. Remember that I was telling you that we are always divide in three aspects: the mental, the emotional, and physical. So when we start rising the serpent of the mental body, or we are creating the mental solar body (which in Theosophy is called inferior manas), then that mind is absorbed within that body of liberation. And this is precisely what happens when the Kundalini serpent of the mental body reaches a certain vertebra of the 33 vertebrae of the mental body, then the initiate enters symbolically, initiatically into the Heavenly Jerusalem. This Heavenly Jerusalem is the mental world, which is what we call the Devachan.

So as you see, the psychological man is being born little by little and his physical body is receiving the different attributes of the bodies that are being born within him or within her through initiation. So it is a long process, it is not a process as the fundamentalists think; they assume that by raising their arm aloft and saying "I believe in Jesus" automatically they are being born again, ignoring that this is a very serious alchemical work.

As Paul of Tarsus states, "the first Adam is the Soma Psuchikon," the body of soul, or the psychological, or the psychic man that has to be born; that is the first man. Whenever the fundamentalists read the bible they think that the first man refers to all of us; no! We are not the first man.

The first man is that being which in the book of Genesis was created on the sixth day. When you study the book of Kabbalah, Tarot or Torah, you find that the number six is Geburah, beginning from the bottom of the Tree of Life, counting from Malkuth, Yesod, Hod, Netzah, Tiphereth, Geburah. Geburah is called Buddhi in Sanskrit, the body of the soul, or the consciousness body. So the psychological man is being born here on the sixth day, because it is a psychological process. People have difficulty to understand this, because it is a process of Alchemy, transmutation, where the Tzalem, the icon, the image of God is making a transformation in different octaves within the carcass, within the egg -"For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together." - Matthew 24:27, 28. So, physically, we are that egg, in other words, the physical body that we have right now is symbolized as an egg within which all the elements are placed, and we have to work with them in order for the chick, or we will say in order for Horus (the soul-man), which is the terrestrial man (soma Psuchikon) to be born within.

So, when this image of God is created, when the whole soul-man is done, this is placed in Eden, in the fourth dimension. This is why when you investigate in Samadhi and you enter into Nirvana, you discover that all of those Masters or initiates within Nirvana have the four bodies of glory. Yet, here on the earth we have the four bodies of sin. These four bodies of sin are:

  1. The common and ordinary physical body that we have
  2. The common and ordinary vital body that we have which is the superior part of the physical body
  3. The Kama Rupa, which is a protoplasmic emotional body that we use when we go to bed and travel in the astral plane
  4. The inferior manas, which is also protoplasmic mind that we use

So the mind, the emotion, the vital body and the physical body are what is called in esotericism the four bodies of sin, within which, unfortunately, the Buddhata is trapped.

The Buddhata, the essence with which we can elaborate the Bodhichitta, is bottled up within those protoplasmic bodies that evolve from the mineral kingdom, into the plant kingdom, into the animal kingdom and reach the summit of the intellectual animal kingdom in which we are. But if we do not elaborate the image of God, the psychological man, those mechanical protoplasmic bodies devolve, return into the matter, disintegrate; this devolution is precisely what the bible calls the second death, which is the devolution of the four bodies of sin. Devolution creates or better said, degenerates the protoplasmic bodies into that which we call the three demons, or entities that work in accordance to devolution and which attract the laws of Klipoth.

When we are working in this transformation called the second birth or to be born again, we work with the carcass or our protoplasmic bodies too, but we have to understand that we are making, as we are explaining here, a Hypostasis, something is being created behind of the carcass, from within the shell that we see, but this second birth that we are talking about is a long process.

Thus, the first man is of the earth, this is what Paul says, the first man is of the earth, in other words, he is matter. When we talk about matter, we don't only talk about the physical matter; there are different types of matter. Matter itself is mental, but of course we have a mind, a matter which is lunar. Yet, the matter that we are talking here is solar, immortal, because the solar electronic bodies are not submitted to devolution, or to death; even the body of liberation which is the physical body that we have to create inside, is submitted to the superior laws, is electronic, is Edenic, is made of flesh like the flesh that we have here, but doesn't belong to this tridimensional world, but it can materialize in it. If the Master wants to appear into the physical world, physically speaking, he or she utilizes the body of liberation in order to appear. Of course during that transition or transformation, the Master utilizes two bodies; the body of sin that we have, which is this tridimensional physical body that is born through our parent’s fornication and the other body (the body of liberation) that is being born by the transformation of the libido.

The only thing that we have to comprehend and understand here is that when we talk about the initiate, when we talk about the Master that has these glorious bodies, this has nothing to do with the physical personality here in this physical world. Here in this physical world we have a name given by our parents, we use our surname accordance to our family, but that is perishable, and has nothing to do with what we are talking here. In other words, it doesn't mean that the terrestrial or the sinful man that appears in the three dimensional world is going to use the body of liberation, because the body of liberation that is shown in the triumphant entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem belongs to the Monad; this is precisely the meaning of this symbol. The Monad utilizes the body of liberation in order to enter into the Heavenly Jerusalem, so with this physical body of liberation within which is the astral solar body, and the mental solar body and even the will, the initiate can enter into the superior worlds, or appear in the three dimensional world or appear in the astral world, or causal world, and go even into the Absolute. Understand that we are talking here about the Master, the initiate.

Now let us talk about us, the sinful man. We are the black dragon with seven heads: lust, greed, gluttony, laziness, pride etc. Can that dragon of seven heads utilize these glorious bodies, or the body of liberation? No!

Understand that it is precisely in the path of the Bodhisattva in which we (the sinful man) have to work very hard in order to utilize the body of liberation. Yes, the body of liberation (the Svabhavikakaya) can be used only by the Bodhichitta. The body of liberation cannot be used for instance by greed, or by pride, or by envy; this is a body that really belongs to the Master. And all these great bodies of the second birth, as I said, are utilized by the initiate, by the Master. But that initiate, that Master (who we always refer to in the Tree of Life as Chesed), is the real man, the seventh Sephirah, the Spirit. The problem in understanding this lies in that we always think physically, thus, we think we are the first, but in reality we are the last, because the first is Chesed, the spirit, and the last body is the physical body that we have.

This is how we have to understand that when we said that we use the body of liberation we are talking about Chesed, he is the one that is using it, which is our Spirit. But now, in the Hypostasis, the Bodhisattva has to be united with the Bodhichitta in order for the Bodhichitta to enjoy the body of liberation. And that is precisely a great transformation. Let me read for you what Genesis 2:1-7 states in order for you to comprehend better; this is about the Soma Psuchikon or the psychological man that we already explained:

"Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." Then after this, it is explained that when this man is created "there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And Iod-Havah Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

When you find the word ground or earth in Genesis, this is literally in Hebrew Adamah, the ground. Alchemically, Kabbalistically speaking, you have to understand that this physical body should be called Adamah. Sometimes it is called Adam, but really it is Adamah or the ground, the material aspect (the carcass) within which we take all the elements in order to elaborate this soul-man that is written in the book of Genesis. But it is stated there that God made that soul-man from the dust of the earth (Adamah). Now you have to deeply understand the elaboration of that Edenic man that is written there is, what it means to take from the dust the elements in order to make that Edenic man; comprehend that this is a psychological and long process. Behold here that this is explained after the creation of everything of Genesis; because this is a psychological work and it is in the seventh day when we have to do it.

Now, when we talk about the seventh day, we are talking about Binah. Remember that in accordance to the seven planets, the Law of the Heptaparaparshinokh, the Moon is first, then Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn; those seven planets are the planets related with the seven days of the week. The seventh planet is Saturn, which is related to Saturday. Saturday, as you know by Kabbalists, is holy; remember "you shall keep the Sabbath holy." This commandment in this statement is very clear, for those that have achieved the second birth.

Once you have created all of those elements within you, which are the psychological bodies, then you have to clean those bodies, you have to eliminate from your nature all of that which is negative, which is animal, which is bestial, all of that that belongs to the protoplasmic bodies. And that is precisely the process that is symbolically explained in the Biblical Gospels. It is written there that the Son of Man is the Lord of Sabbath, and that the Bodhisattva, who is really the Son of Man, performs his works on Saturday; this is how it is written in the Gospels.

Let us now explain and understand in order to go deep into this psychological work that we are explaining. The theme of this course the path of the Bodhisattva states that "the Son of Man comes out of the east, and shineth even unto the west." Alchemically, psychologically, Kabbalistically speaking, you know that the Tzalem, the image of God (Christ) is within the solar sexual energy, and that when that energy arises in the spinal column, that is the east. So the beginning of the coming of the Son of Man is the rising of Christ, the sunrise, the solar force rising in the spinal column, which is the Kundalini, this is the beginning. But Christ has to shine even unto the west. What is the west? Well you know when you look at the west is when the sun sets, disappears. So we the Gnostics know how to follow that sun. When the sun sets in the west, you are in darkness, but a real Gnostic goes beyond and follow that sun and finds what we call the astral sun. That astral sun is precisely the Cosmic Christ that shines in the west. This is why in other Gnostic scriptures the Gnostics say "Do not expect anything from the east, but from the west." That means that in the west, in the internal worlds, when that sun disappears and shines there in the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh dimension, is where the self-realized Masters are, those Masters who performed all the psychological work, so the sun (Christ) sets there, and is shining within their internal worlds.

So, we have to go further (even unto the west), in other words, in the beginning you start performing your psychological, alchemical work in the east, because we are just aware of this physical world. People come here and listen about the fourth dimension, fifth dimension, six, seven dimension and they have to imagine that. The only dimension that we are aware of, that we can touch, is the three dimensional world, this physical dimension, which is the beginning, the east; the sun rises here by means of the alchemical, psychological work that we have to perform. Thus, little by little, through chastity, meditation, and all the work, the Solar-Christ rises, and by rising and rising, we achieve the second birth, which is the creation of the four bodies of glory, which belong to different dimensions, those dimensions that Jesus called the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is above Malkuth; if you have an image of the Tree of Life, Kabbalah, you find the Kingdom of Heaven above Malkuth. Therefore, to be a new born, or a twice born, is to be able to penetrate in all the Sephiroth of the Tree of Life.

Of course, with the consciousness, with the Buddhata (the embryo of soul) you can experience the Kingdom of Heaven. There are many practices for that, yet in order to be a citizen of those dimensions you need to create the four bodies of glory; you need to create the earthly man, the Edenic man, the Soma Psuchikon. And with the help of the Son of Man, as we are explaining here, we enter into the west, where the sun sets. When the physical sun sets you go into the bed, you go to rest, but you continue working in other dimensions, your physical body is resting, but you are in the west, beyond that sunset, there is where you are working psychologically with the help of the Son of Man in order to extract from the dust of the earth the Truth; that Truth is bottled up within the protoplasmic bodies, it is the Buddhata, it is the essence, because the Truth is beyond good and evil.

HannasmussWe have our own good and evil here in Klipoth; you see, within the protoplasmic bodies, within all of those egos, is where the Truth emerges, from Klipoth. The truth does not emerge like the beast, but when you know it, the truth emerges when you disintegrate the beast through Buddhist Annihilation; the beast is formed by our psychological aggregates that cannot unite to the body of liberation. The beast is precisely the problem that is formed within the one who we call the hasnamuss.

When you achieve the second birth, still you have within you the protoplasmic bodies and the ego. There are some Gnostics that state that you can be in danger of becoming a hasnamuss, which is a being with double polarity. But in reality, every single initiate from the past, present, and future are always in that danger, because after the second birth is achieved, still you have your protoplasmic bodies, your ego. Not the same amount that you had in the beginning, because you have to eliminate certain elements in order to achieve those heights, but when you achieve the second birth you still have ego and the protoplasmic bodies. Here is when you face the situation of remaining as a hasnamuss and working little by little, eliminating those elements throughout different Mahamanvantaras, or reincarnations, and that is what we call the spiral path. We will state that the spiral path is the path for the hasnamussen, because they still have ego. Yet, the direct path is different; here you must achieve the complete elimination of all of those protoplasmic elements in order to become, indeed, a man of the Sabbath or Seventh day.

This is why when you achieve the second birth, you have two choices: to continue your work on the direct path (the straight path) or the spiral path. Thus, this choice is just for those that have been born again. A twice born has the choice to eliminate that bestiality in two different ways: the slow way or the fast way; the straight path is the faster and the spiral is the slowest. The straight path or the spiral is a choice, a choice of will.

If you choose to take the direct path, then the Lord, the Cosmic Christ (Avalokiteshvara, Kuan-Yin, Chenrenzig) incarnates within you. And this is also something that the fundamentalists do not understand. They do not comprehend that Christ cannot enter into the protoplasmic bodies (bodies of sin). In order to receive that cosmic element (Christ) within your psyche, you need to be born again, you need to have the psychological man within, the Bodhichitta, created, elaborated with the body of liberation, the Soma Psuchikon, which is what Paul of Tarsus speak about in 1 Corinthians 15.

So when Soma Psuchikon is created, then we can talk about the Soma Pneumatikon. This Soma Pneumatikon, the pneuma, the spirit, is precisely the Son of Man that comes; he comes from above and enters in order to create the Bodhisattva, in order to work within him.

Now, let me read for you where the Master Jesus talks about this, which is when he is talking to Nicodemus, he says: "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." The Kingdom of God, or the Kingdom of Heaven, is what we already explain here (the higher Sephiroth), and if you have not created the Soma Psuchikon within, you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. And as you know, he says, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit;" plus all that which is written in the bible that we repeat many times and that is written in many books and that is related with the second birth.

Lo and behold here, this is something very important, after the long explanation that the Master Jesus gives to Nicodemus, he says, "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." So in other words, here, in this earth, nobody can go up to heaven, even if the sinful man (with protoplasmic bodies) after having born again, after having created all of his solar bodies, doesn't receive the Son of Man. In other words, Jesus is talking here about us, who have these protoplasmic elements that we call lust, anger, pride, greed, envy, gluttony, laziness, and all of that psychological rubbish that we have in abundance.

Understand that we want to enter into heaven but we cannot, because unfortunately we are trapped within these elements, but all of us want to go with them into heaven. Well, even if we created the internal bodies (the Soma Psuchikon), those sinful protoplasmic elements cannot go up to heaven, but only the Son of Man who is in heaven. Thus, the son of Man has to descend as a savior into that Psuchikon-man in order to do that. This is why Jesus said: "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up." Remember that here when Jesus is explaining to Nicodemus that he has to be born again, Jesus said after (after you are born again) that you have to lift the Son of Man within you.

The lifting up of the Son of Man within is also a process of Alchemy, a process, a transformation, in which we have to assimilate the Lord (the Cosmic Christ) little by little. This process is what we are explaining here, which we call the Venustic Initiations.

This is why after that Jesus stated: "That whosoever believeth in him (the Son of Man) should not perish, but have eternal life." In other words, we have to work with the Son of Man, psychologically, in all our bodies, beginning with the body of liberation, astral solar body, mental solar body, causal solar body, and all the bodies that we created, or after being born again.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son (the Solar Logos) that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

So the Son of God is the Cosmic Christ, and if you assimilate him (as Soma Pneumatikon within the Soma Psuchikon), of course, you will enter into those kingdoms of the Tree of Life, you, you the consciousness that is listening right now.

I repeat again in order to explain: the Inner Being, the Monad of the twice born, is the one that has those solar bodies and even the body of liberation. We create the bodies of glory with the alchemical work that we perform here, yet, if we want to share that, if we want to enjoy that beautiful thing that belongs to our spirit, then we have to follow the path of the Son of Man, the path of the Bodhisattva, we have to incarnate that cosmic element which the bible calls the Son of God, which in the Tree of Life is Chokmah (wisdom); this is a process of transformation, and by doing that is how we acquire everlasting life. Of course, that everlasting life is achieved with the resurrection, but let us not go into that now, because we are explaining only about the Hypostasis of the man; little by little in different steps you are going to comprehend all of this.

"For God sent not his son (as the Son of Man) into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved."

The world, of course, that we are reading of here is the Soma Psuchikon, the psychological man that is created, that is alchemically elaborated; for that world is not somebody that believes in what is written in the bible. Of course you can accept or believe what is written there, since it is beautiful, but in order to alchemically elaborate that, in order for you to reach that level and to receive the Son of God, you have to alchemically achieve it. Thereafter the former statements, Jesus come and say: "For every one that (with his protoplasmic bodies) doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."

So as you see when, Gnostically speaking, we are talking about this psychological process and alchemical process, it is a process in which we work with the sexual force, because "as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up." Therefore, you have to investigate what is that serpent which Moses lifted up in the wilderness.

The serpent is a symbol of Alchemy. The serpent is the bronze serpent (described in the book of Numbers). Bronze is the union of two metals, tin and copper; tin is masculine and copper is feminine. The union of those two metals, alchemically speaking, made the serpent of bronze, thus (Man-Woman) was that alloy with which Moses worked in the wilderness. So to receive the Son of Man is to work alchemically as Moses did in the wilderness.

So here we are indeed clarifying the esoteric, psychological, kabbalistic aspects of this process of transformation or Hypostasis that occurs in the path of the Bodhisattva by means of the development of this psychological man (Soma Psuchikon) and by extracting from the dust of the earth (that is the carcass, the protoplasmic bodies) the psychological elements that we need in order to enjoy the body of liberation. This is how we are, of course little by little, gaining access to the body of liberation, because this is precisely what God wants to give to his son, who is unfortunately bottled up in sin, in the four bodies of sin. Our own particular individual Monad want us to enjoy the Edenic body of liberation, yet if we remain with the defects, vices in this physical world and we are lazy, and we do not annihilate those elements, we will never enjoy the body of liberation, we will never achieve the triumphant entrance into the Heavenly Jerusalem.

Behold, there are two Jerusalems: the heavenly and the terrestrial. Precisely, this brings into my mind something that I was reading related with the two women, which in relation with Kabbalah are the symbol of the two Jerusalems.

The name Abraham comes from Semitic roots, and means "the divine Father is exalted" - Ab, "father," and ram, raham, "exalted." Abraham is therefore the creative symbol of the Monad that through Yesod has two generations, or two children; Abraham had Ishmael and Isaac, only two children.

Galatians 4:22-28:

"For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the (the protoplasmic) flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children (in Malkuth, the Physical World). But Jerusalem which is above (the Heavenly Jerusalem) is free, which is the mother of us all (who transmute the libido). For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate (the woman in Malkuth) hath many more children than she (Shechinah, the Divine Mother Kundalini) which hath an husband (the Holy Spirit). Now we, brethren, as Isaac (the Son of Man) was, are the children of promise.

So, Sara, or Sarai, the Divine Princess Kundalini, is the one who receives the promise, in other words, the one who receives the image of God.

So, in other words, this is the creative process of God, or two covenants in which God creates through the same way, through the same vehicle, which is Yesod, the sexual organs. The first is precisely the one through which all beings are born from Agar, for this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, Egypt, which is Malkuth, and all of us are children of Agar. But we have the opportunity to become as Isaac, children of the promise; this is by transmuting the Tzalem, the icon, the image of God within. And this is how we must understand the difference between the two generations: the physical generation, which is fornication, which is that generation through which everybody is being born, and the other that is the initiatic generation.

The initiatic generation doesn't mean that because you belong to this or that religion you are going to go and to become a child as Isaac, a child of Abraham according with the promise, no! Understand that this is a sexual transmutation that you have to perform. That is why when you read in the bible about the promise, you find there that there is a pact, the pact of circumcision, which is a sexual symbol in order to explain that mystery in a hidden kabbalistic way.

So anyhow, the two generations elaborate two different forms of reasoning, and this is something you have to comprehend and understand very well now. We reason, but we have subjective reasoning. What is subjective? Subjective is that which is below, sub. And what we find below accordance the Tree of Life, Kabbalah, is Malkuth. This body, physical body which is Malkuth, receives impressions through the ears, eyes, nose, mouth, touch, five senses, and through the information that we receive through the five senses of the physical body we elaborate concepts, we reason, but that is subjective reasoning. And that subjective reasoning belongs to the protoplasmic mind that everybody has. You find out that this present civilization is made up based on that subjective reasoning of this three dimensional world. So, with the five senses we only can capture length, width and height, the three dimensions. Beyond the five senses there are many inventions that can perform investigations and see the fourth dimension, like the Kirlian camera, but without it, and only with the five senses we cannot go beyond the third dimension. That is why when we talk about the fourth, the fifth and other dimensions related with the Tree of Life we have to use too many symbols in order for you to understand with your subjective reasoning. Tridimensional science, present science, is subjective science related with subjective reasoning. When we say "present science" we are talking about the materialistic science, not this science of Gnosticism.

This science of Gnosticism is based on objective reasoning. In other words, when we start working in the psychological work that we are explaining here, we develop objective reasoning, and by objective we refer to the superior part of the Tree of Life, the seventh, sixth, fifth, fourth dimensions within which we find other elements. But in order to penetrate there we need to develop other senses. And those senses are precisely related with the psychological man that we must develop.

As the ordinary man here, in this physical world, sees with his eyes, hears with his ears, smells with his nose and etc, likewise, the psychological man also utilizes these senses. Yet, he not only utilizes the five senses but moreover, he utilizes seven other senses, which in esotericism or occultism is discussed a lot; these relate to the seven chakras. But of course the seven chakras, or the seven churches that the book of Revelation talks about, have to be developed by annihilating the psychological bestial elements that are within us. The Buddhata, the essence, can enjoy those powers by eliminating the egos or by pronouncing mantras, even before creating the bodies of glory, or the psychological man, the Soma Psuchikon within. Unquestionably, in the psychological man, all those senses are completely awakened by means of the extraction of the psyche which is bottled up into the protoplasmic matter, which is subjective through evolution and devolution in this mechanical world.

It is important to emphasize that the psychological men are not submitted to evolution neither to devolution; they are beyond those laws, they belongs to other laws. They are capable of penetrating into the higher Sephiroth of the Tree of Life: the fourth dimension, the fifth dimension, the sixth and seventh, and all dimensions, because we find that each dimension is multidimensional, is multiple. So you can penetrate there with your psychological senses, and then based on those psychological senses which people call clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, intuition, which are developed 100%, the psychological man, the Bodhichitta develops objective reasoning. Precisely, this is why it is very difficult to bring information, wisdom, knowledge, Gnosis, by utilizing your objective reasoning and to explain it to people that have only subjective reasoning. It is natural that the subjective reasoning people are skeptical and some of them only believe.

So related to this topic of objective reasoning, when Jesus is entering into the Heavenly Jerusalem, or as it is written in the Gospels, when he is entering into Jerusalem and is received with palms, branches and the multitudes crying, saying unto him "Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest." Of course this is a symbol of the initiate penetrating consciously into the superior worlds with the body of liberation. In other words, the Son of God, Christ, is perfectly integrated with the Bodhichitta; this is what is called Hypostasis. Thus, the Son of God, the Bodhisattva, is riding a donkey and a colt, the foal of an ass, as you read in the bible; you will find this in Matthew 21.

Now let us clarify this symbol. This is a symbol of the subjective reasoning that we have in this tridimensional world. So, by observing the protoplasmic bodies and the subjective reasoning, we discover that there are two types, or two levels of people related with this subjective reasoning. The first ones are called the intellectuals who reason a lot and who utilize the sensual mind, and the others are called the believers, those who utilize that protoplasmic mind, but based not in what the five senses inform them, but just in dogmas, beliefs, something that they read but they cannot prove, because they don't have internal solar bodies or Soma Psuchikon, thus, they don't have access to objective reasoning. In the bible, the ones related with (dogmas and beliefs) the emotional center are called Pharisees, and the others are called Sadducees, who are related with the intellectual center.

Master Jesus says, "Take heed and beware of the leaven (yeast) of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees." Of course, when you read this, you wonder, "What is this yeast or this leaven?" These are the elements that the people who bake bread utilize in order to make the bread huge. They use the yeast in order to inflate the bread. Remember that the bread ("lehem" in Hebrew) is a symbol of wisdom. That is why Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, was born in Bethlehem, "the house of bread," the house of wisdom. So the Pharisees and Sadducees, since they don't understand, they do not comprehend the scriptures, they cannot penetrate into the superior worlds in order to analyze what this scripture says in relation with the initiatic path, they only read scriptures literally, and obviously accordance to their beliefs, accordance to their habits, customs, traditions, they interpret what Jesus has written in accordance to their minds. In other words, they put different leaven, different yeast, and make different breads (doctrines). Precisely, this is why you find in the world of the mind, in the mental world, different religious sects, since with one verse of the Gospels you can make a new sect.

Pharisees and Sadducees study Christianity and found many sects of Christianity; astoundingly, they utilize the same book (the bible), but they contradict each other, and they follow a different direction. The same with Buddhism, different sects of Buddhism, different sects of Judaism, and everyone interprets with their subjective reasoning and fight among themselves, and of course if the sects of Christianity fight among themselves, the sects of Buddhism fight among themselves, and Judaism among themselves, and Hinduism among themselves, obviously these followers fight among other religions. That is why we have or we are living in what we call "a confusion of tongues." The confusion of tongues belongs only to those with subjective reasoning, to those that are incapable of penetrating into the internal worlds. Thus, they fight amongst themselves, and each one in accordance to their beliefs and dogmas make their own leaven and put their leaven and make different bread, and thereafter they offer it to you, and say "this is the bread of wisdom, eat it." Notwithstanding, it is written that we have to eat unleavened bread. That unleavened bread comes to you only when you awaken your senses, a pure bread of wisdom from God, this is called Kabbalah (from Kabel) to receive the pure wisdom (Chokmah-Christ).

However, if you talk with any intellectual Sadducee who reads the bible literally, you see that he does not put his heart in the bible, he just contradicts you; such persons becomes skeptical, can become atheists, and can tell you that all that is written in the bible is just baloney, a book written by people that don't know how to write since this biblical statement contradicts this other, which contradicts with that other, and so on and so forth. Thus, they end by saying that the Bible is just fiction as any other sacred book. In other words, they end thinking the scriptures are just an invention of people in ancient times who (they say) were stupid, superstitious, and who were creating new beliefs, since they believed that the sun was a God, and that they were making symbols of God in different ways, with different faces, etc. and 18,000 theories of the sort through which the Sadducees explain their sophisms. If you want to know more, observe National Geographic on TV, and see how these Sadducees explain these things with a lot of subjective details. By utilizing subjective reasoning, anybody can talk and laugh about anything. What can you do? This how Sadducees are: they ignore completely about the superior truths, about the superior science.

Of course in these times, science is developed, but is subjective science based on the five senses. And that is why the Bodhisattva is always warning his followers, "Take heed and beware of the leaven (yeast) of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees," because with their yeast they make a mess of the doctrine and confuse people. This is why we always emphasize: follow your own Being, awaken your senses, and receive the true bread of wisdom through meditation without any type of yeast. Because most of the yeast that we find is related with traditions, with rules which are very strongly established. Pharisees state, "if you don't follow these rules you are bad, you might go to hell," or whatever type of subjective sort, etc.

So the Bodhisattva, instead of identifying himself/herself with those two minds (Pharisees and Sadducees, believers and skeptics), what he does is to utilize his mind, he controls his mind, he works his Bodhichitta. This is why Jesus rides the animal when going to enter into Jerusalem, into the world of the mind, which is the world of Buddha, because in order to be enlightened you have to control completely your mind, not only the solar mind, but also those donkeys, the donkey and the colt that is written in the Gospels.

entryLet me read what the Gospel states about this, as it is written in Matthew 21:1,2:

"And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me."

Thus, you see an ass and a colt. You can apply the ass to the Sadducees and the colt to the Pharisees; it doesn't matter, since both are stubborn animals. "Bring them unto me," in other words, he says, if you are a disciple of the Lord (Christ, Avalokiteshvara, Kuan-Yin, Chenrenzig) if you are working in the path of the Bodhisattva, you have to bring those bestial minds to your Lord, the Bodhisattva, say to your Lord, "ride them Lord, here we bring you my mind which is called the sensual mind (the ass) that nourishes itself with the five senses, and here is my intermediate mind (the colt) that nourishes itself with beliefs. I have too much information, I read the bible, I read the Bhagavad-Gita, I read the Koran, I read the scriptures of Buddha, I have a lot of information in my mind and I believe in it, but please utilize that information and tell me what does it mean. I want to enter into the Heavenly Jerusalem not as a believer but as somebody that understand what is written, and who comprehends the wisdom." This is why Jesus’ disciples, which are the Bodhisattvas, bring those stubborn animals to the Son of Man, to the Cosmic Christ, and thus, the Lord sits on them with the body of liberation, because that body of liberation (which is physical) is related, as we told you, with the astral body, which is related with superior emotions, and which is the counterpart of the Pharisees.

We have to annihilate the interior Pharisee. You see the word Pharisee comes from "Parsee," from Persia. In Persia is where we find the worshippers of Zoroaster, the Zoroastrians, who worship the fire; God is fire, as it is written. So, if you are Persian, Zoroastrian, you worship the fire, you are a Persian, a Parsee, a Pharisee. So anyone that worship God within as a fire, is a Pharisee, is a Persian, a Parsee. But is not enough to worship God in that way, it is important, it is necessary to understand that, and to develop that within, but just to remain as believer is wrong. We have to elaborate that, and that is precisely one of the asses or donkeys. This is why in Gnosticism we state that knowledge is a process in which we make conscious that which we believe; knowledge is a process of the psyche, of the consciousness.

Do you believe in something? Ok, meditate in that and discover that within you and within the universe. Man, know thyself! Because everything that is written in different books is wisdom, but you have to discover that within; if you don't discover that within you, you won't discover that outside of you. And of course we have a lot of Pharisees within, especially when we read a lot of esoteric books, and we believe in them; this is good, that is the beginning, to believe, but you have to go beyond. And of course we have the other colt or ass or donkey, which is precisely the intellectualism. That mind that only believes in what he can capture through his five senses, the sensual mind. The Lord has to control those two minds, the Pharisee and the Sadducee, and to transform them, to make them completely a liberated body. In other words, we have to reach the level in which we experience all of that which we read, all of that that we believe, inside, in order to enter into the Heavenly Jerusalem. And then the multitudes of initiates will say, "Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest." Yes, Hosanna in the highest, in the superior dimensions, because there you are entering like a Buddha.

So, do you understand what it is to be enlightened, to be a Buddha? This is why in Netzach, in the Hypostasis level, which we are discussing here, Netzach is the level in which you receive the title of Buddha. In the fourth initiation of Major Mysteries, when you create the solar mind, your inner being receives the title of Buddha. But to become an illuminated Buddha in every Sephiroth of the Tree of Life? That is a hard work. And that is precisely the symbol of Jesus entering into Jerusalem. This is what he was teaching in Matthew 21. So, when you read all the Gospels, and all the verses and chapters before and after this Hypostasis, what he was teaching is this: You have to do the same thing, you have to enter into the Heavenly Jerusalem, and for that you have to receive the help of the Pneumatikon, which is the Son of God that comes after the creation of the Soma Psuchikon, the psychic body.

So, it is not that the Soma Pneumatikon (the image of Christ, the Spirit of God) will come right now, as the fundamentalists think, just by raising your arm aloft and saying, "I believe in Jesus," and the Pneumatikon, that superior heavenly man, the Son of Man, will enter into you, without having any psychological man or Soma Psuchikon within you. Since, what you just have is the protoplasmic bodies (or bodies of sin), you have only the ass and the colt; so, how are you going to receive the Pneumatikon or that spiritual body just like that? Understand that first comes the process of being born again, alchemically speaking, first one thing, what is natural is what Paul says, and then the spiritual. Unfortunately, the bible is translated in many ways, and they translated Soma Psuchikon as "natural body," but the real translation is "psychic body-image." So first is the psychic body-image, the Soma Psuchikon, thereafter the Pneumatikon, the Son of Man.

This is a process of development that starts here and now by working alchemically and psychologically within you; it is not by following a sect or a belief that you are going to perform this Hypostasis. You need to work with your three brains: your emotional brain, your mental brain, and your sexual/motor/instinctual brain. If you are single you can do it, but until a certain level, thereafter, you have to go and have to share the three brains in the couple, because in order to create the internal bodies: the body of liberation, the astral body, the mental body, the causal body, etc., you need the cooperation of the two polarities, Adam and Eve; no one by being single can be born again, you can only advance in the development of the Bodhichitta that will prepare you to go ahead for the Bodhisattva.

This is precisely what was happening in the past. The college of initiates was demanding that the neophytes awaken their consciousness, annihilate their defects, vices, in order to enter into the path of the Bodhisattva with a great percentage of Bodhichitta already developed. But now we are delivering the knowledge without such a requirement; as you know, nobody has the Bodhichitta, but we are in the times of the end, and we have to accelerate and to work with this Dharma; this is why the knowledge, the path, is being explained in order for you to understand that it is not a matter of believing or reading books: it is a matter of working in yourself.

Of course, right now many couples, many Gnostic married couples, start working with Sexual Alchemy, meanwhile the Bodhichitta is not yet developed within them, but we have to develop it, because we are in the times of the end. Understand that you have to develop the Bodhichitta, and this is done by annihilating all of those bestial elements that we have within, which are our psychological defects, which are negative, which are animalistic, in order to triumphantly enter into the Heavenly Jerusalem. Thus, this is precisely what we must understand by the Hypostasis of the Bodhisattva, or the Christ within the Bodhichitta, by means of the psychological work that we are explaining here.

It is not as the fundamentalists say, "just a matter of believing." This is why when the Pharisees and Sadducees go to John the Baptist, in the Gospel of John (which is the Gospel related with Netzach, the eagle), they ask, "Who are you? Are you the Christ?" They are asking directly of the Bodhichitta. The Bodhichitta as you know is the body of liberation, and answers, "No, I am not the Christ." Since the Bodhisattva, the Son of Man is up there in heaven.

"Are you Elias, or Elijah?" In other words, "Are you Eliao, Elios, the Solar Logos?" No! Nonetheless, the soul-bodies, the Soma Psuchikon was created with the solar energy. "I am not Elias, Elijah, or Eliau."

"Are you the prophet?" The prophet is Chesed, the Spirit, but the Bodhichitta, related with these four bodies of glory, says, "No, I am not the prophet."

And then the Pharisees and Sadducees are confused and say, "Well why are you then preaching and baptizing if you are not Christ, if you are not the Messiah, neither the prophet, neither Elias, who are you? Tell us in order to go back and tell to the ones that sent us to ask you. Who are you?" And then John the Baptist answered, "Well (you are identifying yourselves with the mind) the terrestrial man, and "He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah." That one is the Bodhichitta.

The Bodhichitta is elaborating, taking the truth from his good and evil, from his defects, vices; this is how he is elaborating cognizance with the assistance of the Lord. So, when they ask who are you? He says, "I am the Bodhichitta; I am the voice of one, the small Iao. Because the higher Iao is up there in heaven, the small Iao or Eliao is the terrestrial man. The voice of one that preaches in the wilderness, as the prophet Isaiah wrote about." "But there standeth one among you" he says " whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose." And that one, of course is the Lord, is Christ within you, and with whom you can work in order to become a Bodhisattva. And this is why John the Baptist said, "He must increase, but I must decrease." - John 3:30 Yet, this is within you.

Thus, when you understand this Hypostasis, you work within, thus, the Lord increases and the terrestrial man decreases within you; because the Lord, the Bodhisattva, the Son of Man, utilizes the Bodhichitta in order to explain that the one that has to resurrect from the dead is the Bodhichitta. Yet, the union of the Bodhisattva with the Bodhichitta is a mixture that is explained in many ways by the ancient Gnostics. This is the Hypostasis of the heavenly with the terrestrial, or the divine and human, which is the Son of Man.

Questions and Answers

Question: Can you explain about the seven bodies?

Answer: The seven bodies are those bodies that make the true man. In accordance to the Tree of Life, those seven bodies are the Spirit (Chesed), the consciousness (Geburah), the willpower (Tiphereth), the mind (Netzach), the emotion (Hod, which is also called astral body), then the ethereal body which is called Yesod, and the physical body which is Malkuth; those are the seven bodies of the true man. So in order to be a true man you have to have those seven bodies created within.

Question: And you said something about understanding each level of those seven bodies, so would every one of those bodies understand differently?

Answer: Well, each body belongs to a different dimension, but the consciousness, your consciousness is within each one. That is why the whole thing receives the name of Soma Psuchikon, this is the whole psychological man created within. Within that Soma Psuchikon, which in reality is the body of liberation (which is physical, but belongs to the fourth dimension, to Eden), within that is the body of gold, which is the two superior ethers: the luminous and reflective ether within; these make another man, immortal, physical body, and within this is the superior emotion and the superior intellect, which elaborates the objective reasoning under the guidance of the will and cognizance of the Spirit.

Question: You said one of those was the witness, the soul, I mean, one of those is ....

Answer: One of those bodies? The Soma Psuchikon; Soma is body in Greek. Psuchikon means image body. Are you familiar with the Tree of Life? In this school you can have a sketch of this Tree of Life, and thus start studying it. Because when you start studying Christianity which is rooted in Judaism, you must know that Judaism is rooted in the Tree of Life, which is Kabbalah; everything in the bible is kabbalistic. And in order to understand it, you have to know the Tree of Life, which is written in the book of Genesis, where the Tree of Life is mentioned, but people do not understand what that tree is. The tree of life is related with all of those different elements and parts of the Being within you and within the universe. Did you ever hear that saying that states that man is the Microcosmos of the Macrocosmos? Well, the tree of life explains it. Because with the Tree of Life you can picture the macro, the large scale, in different ways, how to study it, but that Macro is reflected within you, the Micro. To be reflected is to have the image.

Question: Does the initiate's physical body that he already has undergo changes during this process?

Answer: Yes, the physical body gets old and dies, but that body of liberation is not subjected to death, or to devolution. But of course remember that within the physical body that we have, we have the karmic inheritance. We have the Kamaduro, the Karmasaya, and all that that we call Karma that we have to pay. That is why when you enter into the path of the Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva, the superior being, along with the Bodhichitta, acts through the same carcass, which is the physical body that we have. Through that body is how the Initiate pays what he owes, because we have a lot of Karma and you cannot be liberated completely until you pay what you owe. And that is precisely the work of Christ, of the Savior; he comes and enters within you in order to negotiate all of those karmic forces with nature, with the cosmos, in order to liberate you from those things that you created, which is Karma of present and past lives; because all of us unfortunately are entangled within the cosmic karma.

The initiate also works through that carcass to teach. And this is precisely one of the main points that many people do not understand. When we were talking about the Master Samael Aun Weor in Mexico, he was a Bodhisattva in the process, and he was elaborating the Bodhichitta, but when you went to Mexico and met him, you saw his carcass, the physical carcass that was born like anyone of us. If you don't develop clairvoyance or different senses, you cannot see inside of him. But if you have the opportunity to see the inner being, the inner man, that is different. Then you understand that one thing is that initiate called Bodhisattva and Bodhichitta, and another thing is the carcass, the physical matter that you see there, that is a common and ordinary citizen, that needs to go to the market and to buy food in order to cook, he needs to shower, he needs to do his own chores or whatever in order to survive in this jungle of cement and iron, that we call cities. And this is precisely how you have to understand any initiate. This is why we always state that we have to face two parts of a big equation: the first is to survive in this jungle in which we are, this civilization, second is what we are teaching here, the other half of the equation that people ignore.

Question: In a previous lecture you identified Elijah and John the Baptist as both representing Bodhichitta, how do we understand John's denial of that association when asked about this?

Answer: Because when you are facing physically the person, that is of course the vehicle of the Bodhisattva, that vehicle is the Bodhichitta, which has the body of liberation, the astral solar body and the mental body, and he utilizes that solar mind in order to communicate the wisdom to you. So if you ask that person, "Who are you?" well I am the mind here teaching this, "but are you Christ?" No! So see that the mind is only a vehicle. "Are you Elias?" No, the mind is only a vehicle. "Are you a prophet?" No, the mind is only a vehicle. The true prophet is the Spirit, Chesed. That is why there is a problem of many initiates that identify with the mind and they start boasting around, "I am the Master this, I am the Master that," and then the protoplasmic mind, you see, the demon of the mind, is boasting about it, and this is how the initiate becomes enslaved by his own particular individual Satan, since he is glorifying himself. Meanwhile God is one thing and you are another thing. This is what you have to understand. Now when the resurrection happens, that is another thing; resurrection is the complete union of the two and all forces. Before that you have to be careful of what you say and when you speak. This is precisely the beginning of the Gospel of John. "Who are you?" and he says, "I am just the voice of somebody that preaches in the wilderness." The mind just utters the voice, the verb, the word, it is only a vehicle and this is it, nothing more.

Because:

"The wind (Ruach, the Spirit - the Pneuma) bloweth (speaks) where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound (the Word) thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is (the Image, the Tzalem or the Icon of) every one that is born of the Spirit (the Ruach, the Pneuma). - John 3: 8

Nevertheless:

"When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I (the Bodhisattva) am he (the Image, the Tzalem or the Icon of the Pneuma) and that I (as Soma Pneumatikon) do nothing of myself; but as my Father (the Pneuma) hath taught me, I speak these things (through the Bodhichitta)." "For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together." - John 8: 28 and - Matthew 24: 28

1: Jesus (the Son of Man, Tiphereth & Chokmah united, our Internal Savior) went unto the mount of Olives (Sixth Dimension).

2: And early in the morning he came again into the temple (he returned into his own physical body), and all the (Initiates) people (who walk on the path) came unto him; and he sat down (on the Pineal Gland), and taught them (through the Cerebrospinal Nervous System).

3: And the Scribes (Intellectual Spiritualists of the Sensual Mind) and (Hypocritical, Sanctimonious) Pharisees (with their Fanatical Minds) brought unto him a woman (a Soul) taken in adultery (since the Psyche of any Humanoid is adulterated by their Sensual and Sanctimonious Minds because of their fornication); and when (in Meditation) they had set her in the midst ,

4: They say unto him, Master, this woman (our Psyche) was taken (many times) in adultery, in the very act (because the consciousness always adulterates the Truth, since it is bottled up within these two perverted animal minds).

5: Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned (that we must utilize the Cubic Stone of Yesod so that we can eliminate such adultery from our animal psyche): but what sayest thou?

6: This they said, tempting him (so that they may justify themselves when providing evidence that his psyche was not free from adultery), that they might have to accuse him (since these animal minds satisfy themselves when seeing the splinter within the eye of the neighbor). But Jesus stooped down (and delve into his own Psyche), and with his finger (with precision and exactitude) wrote (examined his own Psyche) on the ground (physical body), as though he heard them not.

7: So when they (stubbornly with their animal minds) continued asking him, he lifted up himself (by reflecting within himself), and said unto them, He that is without sin (He that has not his psyche adulterated) among you, let him first cast a stone (in the water) at her (against the soul on Saturday).

8: And again he stooped down (delving within his own Psyche), and wrote (examined his own soul) on the ground (physical body).

9: And they which heard (comprehended) it, being convicted by their own (adulterous) conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last (on the Initiatic Path): and Jesus (the Internal Profound Savior) was left alone (in ecstasy), and the woman (the Soul) standing in the midst (with him in Meditation).

10: When Jesus had (Psychologically) lifted up himself (within the Initiate), and saw none but the woman (the soul free from ego), he said unto her, Woman, where are those (two animal minds) thine (internal) accusers? hath no man (manas) condemned thee?

11: She (the Psyche) said, No man (no mind accuses me now, because all the psychological aggregates of these two minds have been eliminated by thee) Lord (as you did with Mary Magdalene). And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I (the Cosmic Christ) condemn thee: (and since you were purified by the fire in the Cubic Stone of Yesod) go and sin no more.

12: Then spake Jesus again unto (the fanatic minds of) them (the hypocritical sanctimonious Pharisees), saying, I am the (solar) light (the Prana) of the world: he that followeth me (through the sexual transmutation) shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the (solar) light (the Prana) of life.

13: The (hypocritical) Pharisees (who talk of what they do not know) therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself (of your Internal God); thy record is not true (because we are blind, unconscious and we cannot prove that you say the truth).

14: Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself (of my Internal God), yet my record is true: for I (consciously) know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go (because you have your consciousness asleep).

15: Ye judge after the flesh (after your sensual subjective reasoning); I judge no man (instead I help to eliminate the ego of the one within whom I am incarnated).

16: And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father (my interior profound God, my Monad) that sent me (to incarnate).

17: It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men (or two minds, the Superior Manas or Heavenly Man and the Inferior Manas or terrestrial Man) is true.

18: I am (Tiphereth, the Son of Man, the Heavenly Man, the) one that bear witness of myself (of my Interior God), and the Father (my Interior God) that sent me beareth witness of me (because I am his Human Will Soul or Superior Manas, part of him).

19: Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father (who is your Internal God)? Jesus answered, Ye neither (consciously) know me (Tiphereth in the Sixth Dimension), nor my Father (Kether, my Internal God): if ye had known me (if you had incarnated me in the Venustic Initiation), ye should have known (incarnated) my Father (Internal God) also.

20: These words spake Jesus (the Internal Profound Savior) in the giving place (of the mind that gives and takes through the Cerebrospinal Nervous System), as he taught in the temple (Physical Body): and no man laid hands on him (no animal mind comprehend him); for his hour (of completely manifesting himself) was not yet come.

21: Then said Jesus (the human soul united to the Cosmic Christ) again unto them, I go my way (into the Sixth Dimension), and ye shall (physically) seek me, and shall die in your sins (you must psychologically die, because): whither I go, ye cannot come (with your consciousness asleep).

22: Then said the Jews (those who transmute the force of Judah, the Solar Energy), Will he kill himself (physically and not psychologically)? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.

23: And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath (from the abyss, because still you have the ego alive); I am from above (from the heaven of Chokmah): ye are of this world (because you have the two animal minds very fat); I am not of this world (I am not slave of either mind).

24: I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins (in order to comprehend who is the Cosmic Christ): for if ye believe not that I (Cosmic Fire) am he (Tiphereth and Chokmah together), ye shall die in your sins (to prove it).

25: Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same (Cosmic Light) that I said unto you (through all of those Bodhisattvas within whom I had incarnated) from the beginning (of creation).

26: I have many things to say (teach) and to judge of you: but he (the Interior Monad) that sent me is true; and I speak to the world (to the minds) those things which I have heard of him (my Interior God)

27: They understood not that he spake to them of the (Interior) Father (the Ain Soph Aur).

28: Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man (through the Eight Venustic Initiations), then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father (my Interior God) hath taught me (in Samadhi while in Meditation), I speak these things.

29: And he that sent me (that is, my Internal God) is with me (through the Serpents of Fire and Serpents of Light): the Father hath not left me (within the Physical Body) alone; for I (his Christ Will) do always those things that please him.

30: As he spake these words, many believed (comprehended) him.

31: Then said Jesus to those Jews (those who transmute the force of Judah, the Solar Energy) which believed (comprehended) him, If ye continue in my word (and follow the Direct Path and incarnate the same Verb or Cosmic Christ, that is within me), then are ye my disciples (Bodhisattvas) indeed;

32: And ye shall know the truth (the Ain Soph Aur, the Father of all Lights), and the truth (your own Internal God) shall make you free (from the sins of your animal minds).

33: They answered him, We be Abraham's seed (we are souls of Brahma, the Universal Soul), and were never in bondage to any man (Mind or Manas): how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

34: Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin (even unconsciously) is the servant of sin (is servant of his unconsciousness, infra-consciousness and subconsciousness).

35: And the servant (the consciousness bottled up within the ego) abideth not in the house (solar bodies) for ever: but the Son (through the Venustic Initiation) abideth ever.

36: If the Son (Chokmah Incarnated) therefore shall make you free (of your animal minds), ye shall be free indeed.

37: I know that ye are Abraham's seed (souls of Brahma, the Universal Spirit of Life); but ye seek to kill me (with your Lust), because my word (my Verb or Internal Christ) hath no place (hath not incarnated) in you.

38: I speak that which I have seen (united) with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

39: They answered and said unto him, Abraham (Brahma, the Universal Spirit of Life) is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children (children of Brahma, the Universal Spirit of Life), ye would do the works of (Brahma, the Universal Spirit of Life, or) Abraham.

40: But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham (Brahma, the Universal Spirit of Life who emerged from the Ain Soph Aur).

41: Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication (we transmute the sexual libido); we have one Father, even (our Internal) God (the Holy Spirit).

42: Jesus said unto them, If (your Internal) God were your Father (of your consciousness, one hundred percent), ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from (the Living) God; neither came I of myself, but he (the Holy Spirit as a white dove) sent me (to incarnate in the Venustic Initiation).

43: Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear (comprehend) my word (my incarnated Verb).

44: Ye are of your father the devil (your lust, your animal desire), and the lusts (sexual passion or sexual desire of your animal minds, the den) of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning (when killing "Abel" the soul through fornication), and abode not in the (the Father, the Ain Soph Aur, the) truth, because there is no truth (Light) in him (but only within the Being). (Any fornicator cannot speak the truth) When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar (because the ego is the lie in itself, it is the contrary of the Truth-God), and the father of it (father of any psychological aggregate that originates a false, untruthful and hypocritical psyche). Any one who has the ego alive is a living expression of the lie.

45: And because I (the Cosmic Christ) tell (express) you the truth (the Being that is the Truth), ye believe (comprehend) me not.

46: Which of you (who is awakened) convinceth me of sin (of lying, fornication and adultery)? And if I say (teach and practice) the truth (by loving God through my Three Brains), why do ye not believe (comprehend) me?

47: He that is (practicing the Three Factors, the Three Priesthoods) of God (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) heareth God's words (of wisdom): ye therefore hear them not, because (you do not practice the Three Factors, the Three Priesthoods of God) ye are not of God.

48: Then answered the Jews (those who transmute the force of Judah, the Solar Energy), and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan (Black Magician), and hast a devil (Animal Mind)?

49: Jesus answered, I have not a devil (Animal Mind); but I honor my (Interior Profound) Father, and (not my Mind, yet) ye do (internally) dishonor me (through your egotistical animal mind).

50: And I seek not mine own glory (because the Cosmic Christ is the same incarnated glory): there is one that seeketh (the incarnation of it) and (will) judgeth (according to his own condition).

51: Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my word (if he incarnates the Verb), he shall never see death.

52: Then said the Jews (those who transmute the force of Judah, the Solar Energy) unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil (animal mind). Abraham is dead (Brahma dies in every Pralaya), and the prophets (the initiates die, they submerge themselves within the unknowable and die for the universe); and thou sayest, If a man keep my word (incarnate my word), he shall never taste of death.

53: Art thou greater than our father (Brahma) Abraham, which is dead (in each Pralaya and Mahapralaya)? and the prophets are dead (at the end of each Cosmic Day): whom makest thou thyself?

54: Jesus (Chokmah, the Incarnated Wisdom) answered, If I glorify myself (if my glory "HOD" shines by itself), my glory (Hod, the Solar Energy) is nothing: it is my Father that glorify me (within the light of Hod); of whom ye say, that he is your God (the Solar Absolute):

55: Yet ye have not known him (the Solar Absolute or Ain Soph Aur); but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you (who never experience the Truth): but I know him (through the Venustic Initiations), and keep his word (I have his Verb, his Son Chokmah who shines with all of his strength in Hod, his Glory, Incarnated).

56: Your father Abraham (Brahma) rejoiced to see my (Cosmic) day: and he saw it, and was glad.

57: Then said the Jews (those who transmute the force of Judah, the Solar Energy) unto him, Thou art not yet fifty (esoteric) years old, and hast thou seen Abraham (Brahma)?

58: Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham (Brahma) was, I am (the Ray of Okidanokh). - John, chapter 8
