Hello. I'm having some troubles. I am challenging my lust and have been working on becoming chaste* for a while. Once I go a couple of weeks with no release, I recently have been getting wet dreams for the first time. In my opinion this is far worse than willingly releasing. I am aware that my thoughts the night beforehand follow me into my dreams which is I'm sure the main culprit. I'm aware of my soul and spirit following me into my dreams as well. I am still working on replacing my impressions and healing my heart and not just suppressing the lust. But I feel like I am getting nowhere. My meditation is out of balance because of this too (I think). So how can I use meditation to help me if I can't meditate because of what needs fixing? I mean the physical act of meditation not just constant awareness.

This is extra difficult because of health reasons, I pretty much don't leave home for months at a time and have just about nothing keeping me from myself besides will power. In fact this lust I think is a big reason behind my health problems to begin with so you can see the pickle that I am in..

Besides this I have been a truth seeker since I was a child and now that I feel like I have found it, I feel as though I am the only one on earth who is in this battle for truth in spite of many having achieved this before me. This gets to me big time after a relapse because I then feel even more awful for fighting such a battle alone. I'm sure looking back at this that I've written it looks like I'm complaining, but not having a guide besides myself gets to me. Even Dante had Virgil. Maybe I shouldn't have written this because I already have the answers within. Regardless my earthly self is reaching out for earthly help.

Lastly I have been driven to appreciate and participate in art all my life. Such as visually, musically ect..but I feel like I'm choking. Like my artistic nature wants to breathe and flow but something is cutting it short and my creativity just won't come out. All of this has been hurting me for as long as I can remember.

If you want to radically remove wet dreams, follow the advice of Swami Sivananda, who recommended students to practice japa (mantra recitation), prayer, meditation, and pranayama (sexual transmutation) during the hours of 3 and 4 a.m. in the morning. This is the hour of Lucifer-Venus, when negative forces are quite active, as well as when most nocturnal pollutions occur. By practicing at this hour, we prepare our mind, heart and body to maintain the strictest and most profound chastity.

While physical teachers, an online forum, and spiritual friends can inspire us to change, the work is within us here and now. The Guru, the Master, is inside, whose inspiration can inflame your heart solely through spiritual discipline. If you learn to meditate, you can access knowledge and insight that many students of Gnosis, who attend a school or group, do not have. Sadly, many schools and instructors create dependency within their students, failing to acknowledge or recognize that the real work is independent and is based on conscious works and voluntary sufferings, not participation, attendance, affiliation or allegiance with a particular school or teacher.

The most a school can do is push you to study more deeply and to practice more effectively. Do not think that by having a group that spiritual success is eminent. Personally, I have practiced Gnosis for years before meeting any physical instructors, receiving experiences within the internal worlds from the real Gnostics, the awakened masters of Christic compassion, before meeting anyone who studies this doctrine in the physical plane. I do not say this to brag or to pose as if I am superior, but to encourage you with this fact: these teachings are real and you can actualize this science even without a physical group. What matters is that you keep the fire of inspiration alive through being dedicated to meditation and the work.

If you want to heal your nervous system, work with the sacred rites of rejuvenation daily. This will help you maintain chastity and strengthen your resolve to meditate and transform yourself.

Do not lose heart, but let yourself be inspired by the greatness that is within your Innermost, who comes to us when our mind is at peace and silence and within the deepest profundities of the tranquil heart.

"Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer."

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"

I wasn't clear about what I meant with my meditation. It's not that I'm having lustful images during meditation, but that my nervous system is so out of balance that it's difficult to relax, be calm, and focus. When because of my self abuse of the waters over the years it's caused a huge imbalance and lots of anxiety that follows me into meditation physically and mentally. Like nervous twitches for example.
