Venerable Master Samael Aun Weor stated this in his beautiful book The Perfect Matrimony:
During the work with the demon, during the work of the dissolution of the ego, parts of the subhuman entities that possess part of our Consciousness and our life, are eliminated, cast out of our Inner Temple. Sometimes these entities reincarnate in animal bodies. While at the zoo, we could meet forms that have been discarded from ourselves, now living in animal bodies.
If the four kingdoms are posited by our gracious Father to exemplify to all beings their place within the manifested system of things, and for their gradual and eventual growth into a being that is self-cognizant, then why would a dissolved ego find a place amongst that system? Is not a dissolved ego completely pulverised and dissolved into dust? How can it find its place within a living body and have entire control over it? What would happen to this animal, which is just an ego from a past life, if it dies? Does this mean that that animal has no soul and is empty just like the ego?
It confuses me, this quotation, as it could also mean that my cat is just an ego, as opposed to a cat on its way up or down the ladder of the four kingdoms?
May the light of God guide us all to everlasting happiness and joy!
