Hello, I am having trouble understand a passage from the "Yellow Book", and am wondering if an instructor could clarify it.

"It is necessary to warn the Gnostic brothers and sisters about the importance of polarizing the sacred fire of the Kundalini. Some devotees enjoy sexual passion daily even when they do not spill the semen. The result of such acts is the polarization of the fire within the chakras that are situated in the lower abdomen. This is how they lose the happiness of enjoying the lotus of 1,000 petals, the church of Laodicea"

What is meant by the importance of polarizing the sacred fire? Why would the chakras of the lower abdomen awaken when a couple is not spilling the semen?

"Wherever we direct attention, we expend creative energy." -Samael Aun Weor

Therefore, if you perform the sexual act with a lot of lust, even if you do not reach the physical orgasm, that energy is directed towards the fortification of desire.

Transmutation occurs when we control lust (to whatever degree we are capable) in order transform our energies by directing them through conscious attention.

While the beginning is very difficult, since we have a lot of ego, the more we acculturate our mind, heart, and body to tantra through activating our consciousness, restraining, comprehending, and annihilating desire, we gain purity more and more.
