Is there any gnostic significance of kaba? Does the black stone represent philosophers stone? People go 7 times counterclockwise around it? Is it a ritual gone wrong? Why counter clockwise? Did it actually mean the same as 7 times kundalini rising ?

The Kaaba is the blackened, sacred stone of Yesod, the philosopher's stone of the alchemists (who practice كيمياء Allah-Khemia, to fuse oneself with God Most High).

This stone, constituted by our energies and psyche, is black in us due to fornication.

Let us remember pre-Islamic Arabian myth, how within the bottom of the stone a serpent was said to lie sleeping, guarding an immaculate treasure.

الله Allah (may He be praised and exalted) is this golden and exalted treasure, the potable gold of scientific chastity (supra-sexual dynamics or White Tantra) found when we hit "rock bottom" and discover the value of this stone:
I was a hidden treasure, and I wished to be known, so I created a creation (mankind), then made Myself known to them, and they recognised Me. -Hadith
When Muslims circumambulate the Kaaba seven times, they are representing many things:

  1. On a superficial level: the seven chakras of our astral and mental organisms
  2. The seven initiations of Major Mysteries, beginning in the serpents of fire and culminating in the serpents of light
  3. The Elohim (angels, gods, buddhas, perfected masters) perform hajj (pilgrimage) within the Absolute (الله Allah, may He be praised and exalted). See Dante's Divine Comedy: Paradise

As for whether clock-wise or counter-clockwise direction is correct:
Inside the Kaaba
it doesn't matter which direction you point
your prayer rug! -Jalaluddin Muhammad Rumi, Moses and the Shepherd
Or as it was emphasized in al-Qur'an:
Piety is not to turn your faces to the east or the west; rather, piety is [personified by] those who have (solar conscious) faith in Allah and the Last Day (Resurrection within the world of Briah), the angels (Elohim, Buddhas, Gods), the Book (scriptures of all masters and initiates), and the prophets (Dhyani-Bodhisattvas), and who give their wealth (spiritual Dharma, teachings), for the love of Him, to relatives (spiritual, Gnostic brethren), orphans (in need of their Divine Mother), the needy (of instruction), the traveller (on the way of God, the straight path of Al-Fatihah) and the beggar (hermit of the Ninth Arcanum), and for [the freeing of] the slaves (from bondage in Mitzrahim, Egypt), and maintain the prayer and give the zakāt (charity, the perfection or paramita of generosity), and those who fulfill their covenants, when they pledge themselves (unlike the Hasnamussen who do not dedicate themselves to the death of their ego and do not fulfill the covenant or Alliance with God, Arcanum 33), and those who are patient in stress and distress, and in the heat of battle (against their egotistical desires). They are the ones who are true [to their covenant], and it is they who are the Godwary. -Al-Baqarah [2:177]
