The reason I ask this, is because a friend and I seem to be having events like this happening to us quite frequently as of lately.
Because of these occurrences we have both recognized the staggering nature of these events, it seems that the friendship between him and I are filled with such events. Even the way him and I met was due to these factors..
If I were to take the approach as if I were interpreting these events, as if they were dreams, then I would see some very deep underlying symbols..
(Definitions from a dictionary, for clarification)
Synchronicity - the simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection
Serendipity - the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way
Coincidence - a remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances without apparent causal connection

There are no coincidences. There are causes and consequences, and the conditions that allow them. Unfortunately, we are so asleep that we cannot perceive the causes behind all the consequences we experience, nor the consequences of our actions from moment to moment.
"[Karma is] the Ultimate Law of the Universe, the source, origin and fount of all other laws which exist throughout Nature. Karma is the inerring law which adjusts effect to cause, on the physical, mental and spiritual planes of being. As no cause remains without its due effect from greatest to least, from a cosmic disturbance down to the movement of your hand, and as like produces like, Karma is that unseen and unknown law which adjusts wisely, intelligently and equitably each effect to its cause, tracing the latter back to its producer." - The Key to Theosophy, H. P. Blavatsky
