Hello instructors!

I am hoping this isn't a dumb question but I have been struggling at times to understand what the bible means by firmament. I have read many explanations on here and tried to understand it within myself but there's something that just isn't clicking or sticking.

If it is possible to get a unique view by an instructor on this topic that would be great!

So, I guess the question would be this: what is the firmament in relation to the tree of life and initiation?
