I began studying Biblical Hebrew on my own a few years ago from a desire to read the Bible in it's mother tongue and unveil what I knew intuitively to ly hidden within the texts.

The words I've read many times in the Bible are as familiar as old friends yet were tantalizingly and mysteriously as distant as strangers.

Since discovering this website, I've had what I deemed as heretical interpretations of my own, calmly and comfortably discussed with all seriousness and reverence. Truly a thrill for me, I can assure you.

I'd like to know if I could be pointed in the direction of the interpretation of the above referenced text.

I was initially led to the Precepts of Alchemy lectures and haven't yet approached that course.

Thank you so much for the cue, sir.

The Hebrew term נעריו Na'arin means "Children," which is always applied to the soul of the Initiates that follow the path of chastity "righteousness."

חמור chamowr "Donkey" is a term given to the animal soul in relation to the four bodies which fornicate, namely, physical, vital, emotional and mental bodies of the intellectual animal who enters into the path of chastity or "righteousness."

And נער Na'ar is the child or embryo of soul that grows or develops inside the initiate by means of the transmutation of ether of life in Yesod-Sex.

Neshamah
That fraction of soul [נער Na'ar] that is trapped within the previously mentioned principles is submitted to very difficult ordeals. After triumphing, the Initiate ascends to the Causal World to have a meeting with Sanat Kumara, a venerable Elder mentioned in very ancient religions. He is one of the Four Thrones of which the Bible speaks. - Samael Aun Weor

"And Abraham [Chesed, the Innermost] said unto his [נעריו Na'arin] young men [Initiates, Neophytes], Abide ye here [in Malkuth] with the ass [your animal soul]; and I [the Innermost] and the lad [embryo of soul, embryo of Neshamah] will go yonder [to Geburah] and worship, and come again to you [after the first Initiation of Major Mysteries]." Genesis 22: 5

And Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 18: 3

And he sent the youths [נעריו Na'arin] of the sons [archetypes] of Israel, and they [the Initiates in Malkuth] cause [through] burnt-offerings [meaning, cause the fire of sexual alchemy] to ascend [through their spinal medulla], and sacrifice [their Nephesh, lust or animal desire through] sacrifices of peace-offerings to Jehovah [Binah-Saturn's] -- bulls [or oxen - sexual strength of Geburah or Mount Morya]. - Exodus 24: 5

"The union of the Divine Soul [Geburah] with our Innermost [Chesed] signifies that we have accomplished, within us, the development of this terrestrial period [Malkuth]; nonetheless, this does not signify that we have accomplished our entire development. In order for our Innermost to assimilate the Consciousness of each of our four bodies of sin, each one of these internal bodies must attain absolute perfection." - Samael Aun Weor

the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5

Thank you kindly for adding the last response. It tied together quite nicely my linear thought processes desire for clean, true lines. It continues to be an exciting adventure to flit around this site and connect the dots of experience in my life. :)

I suppose I'm on the cusp between Neonate and Neophyte, having been 'chaste' these last five years and no discernible 'effort' to 'practice', just a simple choice and 'knowing' it's beneficial while still possessing an untainted knowledge of a spiritually healthy relationship with another seeking the same goal is possible...I'm easily described as terminologically challenged. Forgive my untutored stumblings...

Genesis 22:5 specifically raised an eyebrow for me because of the term 'worship' in the English translation. I couldn't personally arrive at the same translation from Hebrew to English but it caught my eye that the last three characters of חוה translate to 'Eve'. Curious... :)

ונשת חוה ונשובה אליכם “And dry up Eve, and turn back unto you.”

Eve [חוה – Chavah] in this sentence symbolizes the sexual organ - of the Initiates [husband and wife נעריו Na’arin] - that they have to "נשת" dry up by sublimating - from their sexual fluids - their sexual energy. Eve is Malkuth and relates to "Zain" the serpent “Ida” on the left column of the tree of life; the fire “Ida” of Eve rises from Yesod, the sexual organs in Malkuth, our physicality, towards Hod, Geburah [Mount Morya] and Binah. Binah, the Holy Spirit, Jehovah Elohim, vibrates in the Pineal Gland. Thus, נשתחוה “Worship” in this sentence, is a sexual alchemical transubstantiation that the Innermost performs through husband and wife in Malkuth, the seventh day.

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5
