Masters and initiates of the past left symbols as practical guides for us trying to walk the path of initiation and it would be of benefit to study these guides as to withdraw their practical and symbolical symbolism. However, they are encoded and as such hidden from the ignoramuses and the unworthy (fornicators), but as this is the times of Acuarious and the end of this cycle draws very near, perhaps some assistance (or points of reference) can be given upon this, plausibly sacred, symbol.

For this purpose, here is the refered symbol attached and illustrated below. Thank you for your assitance.

The “Hand of the Philosopher” or the “Hand of the Mysteries” is a talisman that depicts the symbols of apotheosis, or the transformation of man into god. The Hand of the Mysteries, which features alchemy symbolism, is also referred to as the hand of a Master Mason. It is said that the symbolic hand holds the keys to divinity and a practitioner can unlock the secrets through the symbolism. Based on the teachings of Bernard de Montfaucon.

The fish in the center of the palm with the symbol of mercury represents the Hebrew letter נ Nun, the Aramaic fish, sperm or ovum, the creative sexual potential of the human being that grants the final liberation.

The four eyes with the wings of the eagle surrounding the hand represent the Chariot of Ezekiel, the four magisterial animals of the earth (Bull), the air (eagle), the fire (lion) and the water (angel).

The pinkie finger, represented by a key, also symbolizes mercury, since in palmistry this finger represents the planet of Hermes. Mercury is the key to the Garden of Eden and occult science.

The lamp demonstrates with meridian clarity the mysteries of the Ninth Arcanum of the Gnostic Tarot, the lamp of the Hermit who follows the Midnight Sun.

The sun of the middle finger represents the center of our inner cosmos and the Kosmos Human. This finger also relates to Saturn, since as Samael Aun Weor explained, the planet of death esoterically is the sun, INRI, In Necis Renascor Integer ("In Death I Am Reborn In Tact and Pure").

The six pointed star of David over the index finger represents the planet Jupiter, IO-Patar, the power of the Stone of Alchemy, since the six-pointed star of David represents man and woman sexually uniting to create and create anew.

The crown over the thumb (governed by Venus) illustrates how one becomes a King through the science of love (Lucifer-Venus).

The two crescent moons over the thumb show us that by combining the moons (Yesod-sexual organs) of man and woman in a matrimony is how we unite, through its connecting lines, to the inverted symbol of Venus above, which must be turned upright through working in White Sexual Magic.

Does this suffice?

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
