G'day to you all,
This past week or so i have been reading The Master Samaels book "Revolution of the Dialectic" which i have found to be VERY DEEP, Too deep for a once of read too but thats another story. What i am writing to you about is how to be more effective when it comes to silencing the mind.
In the book Master Samael say that there a number of ways to silence the mind with them being a) observing each thought that comes in the screen of the mind and then seeing its opposite so as to get to the equilibrium and thus nullify the thought. b) calling the mind to show itself when mental peace hasnt been established from the first practice and having a dialogue with it but this time interrogating it much more intensely. c) when all other options fail you use the whip of willpower.
I know that because i am in the beginning stages of this practice of the dominion over the mind i should expect a barrage of thoughts to come in and and for the mind to refuse to be dominated but they are incessant in there 'attack' and at the moment the only way to subdue the mind is to lash it with the whip of willpower until its dominion but i dont quiet understand how to do it. Is it something i imagine myself doing or is it more of now forcing the mind shut? and also, is it alright to meditate without dominating the mind totally?
sorry for going off topic on these next three questions but i wanted to find out how you can tell if what you have dreamnt, thought of etc is a past life memory or experience or if its just a thought of a ego and secondly since our Divine Mother uses the sexual force to slay the beasts, how close after losing the force can we store up energy for her to effectively use it. And finally, is it okay to meditate on random experiences throughout our lifetime or is it always supposed to be orderly
Thank you so much for everything
